Submissive

Being submissive means being obedient. It means been meekly passive. It means been docile or slavish. Dolly isn't the submissive type. Infact, she's the domineering type but what happens when she comes across the only one who can make her submissive without trying hard? Evan is very timid and subservient. He's the type that gets scared easily. The very opposite of being dominant. How will he feel when he makes someone submit to him, not just anyone but a great leader of a gang. How does he react when he finds out he can make her submit with ease? Is it just a sexual attraction that caused the submission or more? What if it's more? Or less?

Chapter 26: They Escaped

Dave sighed, taking the picture of his now unconscious ex-wife and daughter. He took few pictures more and walked out of the house, to his car.

He entered his car and drove off to Louis'.

A striking headache hit him as he came out of the car.

He rubbed his forehead, going towards the building. This kind of headache comes only when he's too stressed or too worried and now, it's both.

Louis' guards opened the door for him immediately they sighted him.

Louis had already told them to let him in when he comes.

Dave walked in proudly and walked towards Louis' abode.

He walked faster to his room and knocked on it, not expecting the fast reply he got.

"Come in." Louis' voice sounded from the intercom just by his door.

Dave walked in to see Louis smoking a cigar by his balcony.

"Is the boy here?" Louis'deep baritone voice asked, almost shaking Dave.

"What boy?" Dave asked in mock bewilderment.

"Don't try to play with me." Louis hissed.

"Where is Evan?" He asked again, now facing Dave.

"I'm yet to kidnap him but I've done the other thing you requested of me." Dave remained in his position as Louis walked towards him.

"I saw the pictures. Well-done." He said, stopping at his front.

"You did a very good job but I thought coming here, the boy will be with you." He puffed the smoke on Dave's face.

"Cigarette?" He stretched one to Dave.

"No thanks." Dave declined.

Louis returned it to it's pack and faced Dave back.

"So why are you here?" He questioned. "You're definitely not here to be commented for a job well done." He mentioned sarcastically.

"Of course not." Dave stepped back a bit, he couldn't keep up with inhaling the smoke anymore. It's causing his headache to shoot up.

"I can't go there alone without any help. Charlie is supposed to be there and only me can't hold to men." He stated. "I'll be needing some of your men to go with me."

Louis nodded and picked the telephone on his table then dropped it again.

"Go pick the men you want. They'll help you in everything you want."

"Alright."

Dave walked out of the room and picked the three trusted men Louis has. He knew they were his trusted men because a spy in the house had let him know.

"You can't go with these ones. Pick another ones. You can pick as much as you like." Louis objected.

"If you want me to work for you then you'll allow me to go with these ones. They are the ones my heart desires." Dave retorted.

Walking to the exit door, without waiting for Louis' permission, he walked out, signalling to the three to come with him.

"C'mon."

The three didn't move an inch as they waited for Louis' permission.

"You can go." Louis permitted and they left without looking back.

Louis went back to his room and continued smoking his cigar. He was wondering why Dave picked his three trusted men.

He's not even sure if Dave knew they were his trusted men, and if he did, he wondered how he knew.

He was so lost in thought that he didn't realize he had finished a whole pack until he wanted to pick one more.

He angrily threw the cigar butt away when he couldn't find answers to his questions. One of the things he hated the most.

Dave started the car when the three men entered. They all sat at the backseat without saying a word.

"How long have you been working with Louis?" Dave asked as he drove, trying to start a conversation with them.

Dave got silence as a reply as none of them replied him. He had thought they wouldn't until one of them answered.

"It's none of your business how long we've been working with him. If you want to know anything then go ask him yourself." The one in the middle seat said like he was forced to answer.

He wouldn't have answered if it was someone else but because it was his boss's friend.

They've all been ordered not to reply anyone who is trying to pry into their business, especially since he or she could be a cop.

Dave kept silent as he drove, tapping on his steering wheel. They got there in no time and they all got down from the car.

"Two should follow me, one remain at the car." Dave commanded, leading the other two to the house.

Hands on their gun, they barged into the house.

"Evan! Charlie!" Dave called out but didn't get any reply.

He signalled to the other two to go check the rooms upstairs while he checked the down floor.

They looked around the house, the rooms, bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, garage, store, hoping to catch them or at least get a glimpse of where they've gone to but nothing.

They had both disappeared into thin air. They had escaped. Dave noticed a stick note stuck to the freezer and walked towards it.

He removed the paper.

"𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘶𝘴. 𝘞𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘭." It read.

They're gone, and Dolly is the one who saved them.

One of the men stretched his phone to Dave.

He had called Louis when he discovered that they had escaped and Louis had demanded to speak to Dave.

"What do you mean by they've escaped?!" Louis screamed. He was really enraged.

"I don't understand as well." Dave answered.

"I want you here now!" Louis hung up and threw his phone against the wall, making it shatter.

Just when he was getting his hands on them, they had to escape again.

"𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴?! 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦?!" He thought angrily as he slammed his fist into the wall.

Dave ordered the guys into his car, returning the phone to the owner. They all got in and he stepped on the accelerating pedal speeding into the highway.

They got to the safehouse and met Louis already outside with some of his men.

Dave threw him a questioning gaze.

"I had a track remaining on Charlie and I've tracked it. If muhammad doesn't go to the mountain, the mountain will come to muhammad." He said, walking towards his car.

"Get ready." He turned to Dave. "We're going to war!"
