Chapter 2

Coulson took me to a room that was bathed in white light from the corner lights, the room was black in the shape of hexagons

There was a table with two chairs on either side as well

Phil motioned for me to sit on one of the chairs and said "Please wait here for a while until my superior comes, currently you are in one of Shields building we protect the earth and its inhabitants and you can call me Coulson" then he turned and walked out of the room

Before he closed the door James said "Thank you son of coil

Then Coulson turned back "That's not the first time I've been called that" and with a smile, he closed the door sealing James in

After hearing what Coulson said James knew that Thor has already visited this planet, James went through his memories of the marvel universe and if this was the MCU then that means it's not long until the first Avenger movie starts, I don't have long to get stronger sigh I hope I have a little bit of time

James just sat there replaying his memories as he had nothing to do but what he found strange was that the more he tried to remember something the blurrier it got, he couldn't remember his family and friends' names or faces and for some reason, he didn't feel any attachments to his previous life

'It does make it easier to move on at least' James thought

2 hours later

While James remained seated in his cell, a man that most will know turned up wearing his iconic eye patch and black leather jacket with his amazing attitude it was Samuel L motherfucking Jackson, well actually it was nick fury but he did look like Samuel L Jackson

Nick landed on the helipad of the shield building to be met by Coulson who handed him a tablet with his report on this new alien that crash-landed on earth

"We haven't had much contact with this alien yet sir but he does not appear to be a threat just yet," said Coulson to fury

"We can't judge him yet let's keep him contained for now"

"Lead me to him"

"Yes sir, he's currently been put in a cell and has been waiting for 2 hours but he hasn't moved yet"

James just sat there bored but then the door opened and he saw in all his glory nick fury alive right in front of him 'I guess this is Marvel then'

Fury sat down in the chair opposite this alien and stared at him to try and gauge a response from this alien even though he wore a helmet but he tried to see if he made anybody movement

After a minute and failing to see anybody's movement or response Nick finally talked

"I am Director Fury who is in charge of Shield. Shield has the responsibility of protecting the earth and we are very much capable of doing that. Why don't you take that armour off and get comfortable, you have been wearing that a long time now and sure must be uncomfortable"

"I cannot take my helmet off and show my face as this is the way"

"I see and what else is in this 'way' you are following"

"The Mandalorian creed, strength is life, for the strong have the right to rule; Honour is life, for with no honour one may as well be dead; Death is life, one should die as they have lived."

James decided to use the actual back-story of Mandalore and use its creed as his own since he did respect the creed they followed and since that is the principle of how he must live from now on in this world that has planet-level threats, he cannot be weak he knew

Fury then asked, "Are you strong?"

"Not strong enough"

James knew what fury meant by his question so he tried to seem like he has no ambition to rule Earth so he is not labelled as a threat

"Do you have honour"

"I follow my people's creed"

"But as I am aware you no longer have any more people"

James knew that Fury was trying to anger him to see if he did anything but he wasn't a Mandalorian so he didn't feel any anger from Fury trying to prod him

"The creed is my belief and will go on even though my people are dead"

"Will you try to pass this creed on to the people on earth"

"It is only passed on to the people who I will choose to pass it on to I will not pass it on to unfaithful people or try to indoctrinate people against their will"

"I see, is there anything else you care to share?"

"I only wish to stay on this planet for an undefined amount of time as I am not sure how long I will have to stay here and in exchange, I am willing to lend my help in the protection of earth during my stay"

"I will consider your offer for now though agent Coulson will lead you to a more comfortable place you can stay"

After that fury got up and left

James got up from his seat feeling relief that he wasn't deemed dangerous just yet and went to Coulson who led him down a wide corridor to a room with white walls, a bed and a table with a projection of the sea and the sky on the wall

I walked in and Coulson said to me while closing the door "I hope you enjoy your stay"

I went and inspected the rest of the room and found a bathroom with a toilet, sink, mirror and a shower

'It isn't anything impressive but it'll do for now James thought, he then went to the bed and lay down and slept

James then woke up to the sound of the door opening and saw Coulson bring him food

"I've brought you some earth food, I don't know if you can eat it though"

"Don't worry I can eat Earth's food, my body is very similar to Earth's inhabitants we have records of Earth from the last time we visited"

"When did you last visit Earth?" asked Coulson

"A couple of hundred years ago our ancestor found your planet and archived it"

Coulson then left leaving a tray of fruits and pancakes on the table in my room

James then used his helmet to scan the room to see if his helmet will pick up Earth's technology and it did as many cameras were outlined in red while everything else was blue

'I know that there are cameras all over. I guess I'll take this opportunity to check out my technology and system now and take a peek at my face.'

I then went to the bathroom and pretended to put my hand into one of my pouches on my side, but I went into the system and bought the jammer even though it cost him half his credits and might make Shield angry 'I need to show that I'm no pushover and might as well try to take this opportunity to complete my quest' is what James thought

He first looked at his armour as he hadn't had the chance yet and saw that it looked like the armour of Mando from the Mandalorian series

He then pressed the button on his jammer

When James did so he took off his helmet and saw that he had dirty blond hair and green emerald eyes and a pretty handsome face

'I'm quite the looker huh'

James then put on his helmet and made his way towards his door ready for the fight that was about to go down.
