Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 86- Floor 3: Plan and Preparation

A/N:- This arc would be small since I believe not many people like X-men. I would just focus on the battles and how Jin-Woo overcame them. Of course, there would be interference from our protagonist as well, which would spice things up.

Anyways, happy reading~

------------------

Sentinels, initially designed as a countermeasure against mutants—individuals endowed with supernatural abilities—evolved beyond their original purpose. Gradually, their focus expanded to include humans exhibiting the potential to give birth to mutants, reflecting a shift in their ambitions toward broader targets.

Resulting, in a large-scale massacre.

In 2023, Sentinels have evolved across generations, incorporating advanced features that render them the most formidable weapons against mutants.

At their core, Sentinels are characterized by superhuman strength, agility, and self-repairing capabilities. What distinguishes these imposing 18-foot metallic constructs is their unique prowess to adapt seamlessly to any adversary.

They have the ability to change their characteristics and absorb a mutant's abilities.

Indeed, Sentinels pose a nightmarish threat to mutants, and with their widespread production, it became inevitable that both mutants and certain humans with the potential to conceive future mutants would face extinction.

Thus, a modern-day Mutant needed to travel back in the past to where it all began and remove the problem from its route. Logan has to do what it takes to change the past, in order to preserve the future.

Ororo Munroe better known to be Storm, knew after hearing Warpath's report, that the demise of the remaining X-men was near.

The Sentinels knew that they were there. They always had their ways of searching for mutants and annihilating them in the worst possible way.

She knew they were programmed for it, and the humans viewed mutants as nothing but their enemies. As such, they created these metal bots.

Wolverine has been sent on with the mission of stopping the production of Sentinels but he needs more time. However, considering the number of Sentinels she could sense incoming, there was no way they could hold them off for more than an hour.

"We cannot fight them. They are too many." Bishop spoke something Storm already knew. Not only did Sentinels have the strength to rival Colossus but their ability to adapt was quite frustrating.

"We cannot stop them...but we can misguide them...." Just as Storm was about to change the formation of clouds and create several distractions for the incoming battalion, someone held her shoulder.

"I don't think it would be necessary any longer."

[Inside the altar room]

"Is everything fine, Charles?" Seeing his friend flinch, Erik a.k Magneto couldn't help asking in concern. There was still some time before the Sentinel descends which makes it more important to pay attention to him.

Charles was able to collect his thoughts soon enough before he mumbled under his breath, "Someone is here..."

Hearing his words, Bobby frowned and asked, "Enemies?"

While they were struggling against Sentinels, it didn't mean they were the only foes they had. While Iceman was told to only leave Kitty's side until it was extremely necessary, he was more than prepared to go out and safeguard the altar room.

However, Charles soon shook his head and with a smile, he announced,

"They are friends."

"Who are you two?"

Haru snatched his eyes away from the open air, from where the weird-looking spaceships were advancing, and looked at the short-haired female, who goes by the name; Storm.

Haru glanced toward his Sunbae, and he could feel that Jin-Woo was quite out of place, considering how he was thrown across a multiverse just now.

A world where dungeons don't exist, yet people have superpowers.

"We are here to help. As fellow mutants, have faith that we...or rather he, "While pointing toward Jin-Woo, Haru finished, "would take care of the Sentinels until Logan doesn't finish his job."

Storm's eyes widened, "You know?"

Haru just smiled at her astonishment but didn't say anything.

"There are hundreds of them incoming." Hearing Warpath's anxious voice made Haru realize how dreaded these mutants were of those robots.

Well, remembering how brutally this machine killed the mutant, Haru could understand the reason for their trepidation.

Regardless, Haru had no intention of getting help from the mutants and betraying the initial purpose of coming here.

"Anything that crosses fifty meters from here, is your enemy. But outside that...leave everything to him."

"So how did the conversation go?" Jin-Woo was completely clueless at the moment.

He was suddenly pulled to a place that wasn't a dungeon, and the people here contained no mana at all. Like they were just normal people with a specific style.

However, Jin-Woo's primary intention was to battle with some sort of robots get EXP, and get to know more about his abilities. He was here to strengthen himself and become something more. Something better.

"It went fine...just a minor disadvantage for you."

Looking toward the frosty clouds, Haru continued, "You need to fight on your wyvern and keep those things away from here."

Looking back toward the entrance that led to the altar room, Haru continued, "Something is going in there that could stop this issue once and for all. However, if those Sentinels reach those people before the procedure finishes, then...."

Jin-Woo got the gist of the situation and thus he nodded without hesitation. He already knew these people weren't normal and also, that humanity was targeting them. As such, spreading havoc didn't sound too bad.

Jin-Woo was about to summon Kaisel and some of his elite soldiers, to safeguard this place when suddenly, Haru threw a ring toward him.

"This...?"

"It's an artifact that allows you to wield any weapon. Just think about it, and the ring will transform. It could extend up to eighty feet and its weight increases as much mana you feed it. Share a tiny bit of your blood to it and it will never leave your finger while battling. And also, its added effect erodes any material it comes in contact with."

Jin-Woo was slightly overwhelmed with the features, Haru just listed.

Regardless, Haru knew that his senior would be able to pull this off, somehow so patting his shoulder, Haru wished, "Good luck, Sunbae."
