Snake Eyes and Black Widow

This is a story of Snake Eyes (GI-Joe) being a operative in the fantastic world of the MCU. Of course, as this is introducing a character from an entirely different universe this story will be an AU. Without further ado, please take a dive through the eyes of Snake. Disclaimer all rights and permissions stay with the original writers and creators. This fan-fic is just to take a spin on what it would be like to have one of my favorite characters in the MCU.

Chapter 41: A Race Against Time

The rhythmic thrum of the helicopter's blades reverberated through the cabin as Natasha and Snake Eyes flew toward their next target. Below them, the dense forests and rugged terrain of Eastern Europe stretched out, a remote and desolate area—the perfect place for covert military operations. The enhanced soldiers had been deployed, and this site was one of their key drop points.

Time wasn't on their side. The decryption had revealed a complex plan, one that involved multiple simultaneous attacks across the globe. S.H.I.E.L.D. was scrambling to intercept the soldiers, but Natasha knew that every second mattered. These soldiers weren't just dangerous—they were designed for precision strikes, capable of wreaking havoc in ways that even S.H.I.E.L.D. had trouble countering.

Snake Eyes sat across from her, his mask hiding his expression, but his body language was as calm and focused as ever. The trust between them didn't require words. They both knew what needed to be done: get to the site, neutralize the threat, and prevent the soldiers from reaching their targets.

Fury's voice crackled over Natasha's comms, breaking the silence. "You're about five clicks from the drop zone. We've confirmed that the enhanced soldiers are already on the ground. Your job is to neutralize them before they reach the civilian population."

"Understood," Natasha replied, her voice steady. "We're moving in fast."

"We'll have backup on standby," Fury added, his tone gruff. "But you two are the spearhead. Don't let those soldiers slip past you."

The comms went silent, and Natasha turned her attention back to the mission. She and Snake Eyes had faced overwhelming odds before, but the stakes felt higher this time. These enhanced soldiers were unlike anything they had dealt with in the past—stronger, faster, more lethal.

The helicopter began its descent, hovering just above the treetops as Natasha and Snake Eyes prepared to jump. She checked her gear, then glanced at Snake Eyes. He gave her a quick nod, signaling that he was ready.

With a final look at the dense forest below, Natasha leaped from the helicopter, Snake Eyes right behind her. They landed silently, their movements fluid and precise as they touched down in the thick brush. The air was cold and still, the forest eerily quiet.

Natasha activated her comms, speaking softly. "We're on the ground."

The team's handler responded. "We're tracking movement. The soldiers are headed southeast toward a small village about 10 kilometers from your location. You've got a narrow window before they reach populated areas."

Natasha exchanged a glance with Snake Eyes, who was already moving toward the edge of the forest. He gestured for her to follow, and they began making their way through the dense trees, moving with practiced efficiency. The terrain was rough, but they navigated it with ease, their senses sharp and alert.

As they moved deeper into the forest, the sound of distant footsteps reached Natasha's ears. She slowed, signaling for Snake Eyes to stop. The enhanced soldiers were close—closer than they had expected. Natasha crouched low, peering through the trees.

There, moving through the underbrush with unsettling precision, were four figures clad in black tactical gear, their bodies unnaturally fast and agile. The enhanced soldiers. Their movements were too perfect, too calculated. It was clear they had been engineered for this—for infiltration, for destruction.

Snake Eyes raised his hand, silently signaling that they would strike now, before the soldiers could spread out and become harder to track. Natasha nodded, readying herself for the fight ahead.

The first soldier moved closer, unaware of their presence. Natasha and Snake Eyes had the advantage of stealth, and they weren't going to waste it.

In a blur of movement, Snake Eyes sprang into action. His katana flashed in the dim light, slicing through the air with lethal precision. The soldier barely had time to react before Snake Eyes incapacitated him, the enhanced reflexes no match for Snake Eyes' training.

Natasha took out another soldier with a series of swift, precise strikes, using her Widow's Bites to overload the soldier's neural implants. The enhanced suit flickered, its power systems failing as the soldier collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

But the remaining two soldiers weren't as easily caught off guard. They turned on Natasha and Snake Eyes, their movements fluid and coordinated. These soldiers had been trained to fight as a unit, and they adapted quickly to the threat.

One of the soldiers lunged at Snake Eyes, their enhanced speed making them a formidable opponent. Snake Eyes parried the attack with his katana, their blades clashing in a flurry of movement. Natasha engaged the last soldier, dodging a brutal strike as she countered with a well-aimed blow to the soldier's chest.

The fight was fast and brutal, each movement calculated. Natasha could feel the sheer power of the enhanced soldiers as they struck, their strength far beyond anything she had encountered before. But she and Snake Eyes had one advantage: experience. They had fought too many battles, faced too many enemies to be outmaneuvered by sheer power.

Snake Eyes delivered a decisive strike, his katana slicing through the last soldier's armor with surgical precision. The enhanced soldier faltered, collapsing to the ground with a final, shuddering breath.

Natasha's opponent stumbled as she landed a sharp kick to the soldier's head, knocking them unconscious. She exhaled, her heart still racing from the intensity of the fight.

The forest was silent once more, the enhanced soldiers lying motionless at their feet.

"We neutralized the targets," Natasha said into her comms, her voice steady despite the adrenaline still coursing through her veins.

Fury's voice came through, a mix of relief and urgency. "Good work, but you're not done yet. We've got intel on another deployment site—this time in Eastern Asia. They're moving fast, Romanoff. I need you and Snake Eyes in the air as soon as possible."

Natasha wiped the sweat from her brow, glancing at Snake Eyes, who was already scanning the area for any signs of further movement. They had stopped this team, but it was clear that this was just one small piece of a much larger operation.

"We'll regroup and move out," Natasha replied. "Send us the coordinates."

As the comms disconnected, Natasha looked at Snake Eyes, their unspoken understanding once again bridging the silence between them. There would be no rest—not yet.

They had stopped the soldiers here, but the fight was far from over.

"Let's get moving," Natasha said, her voice firm but resolute.

Without a word, Snake Eyes nodded, and together they began making their way back to the extraction point, ready to face whatever came next.
