Snake Eyes and Black Widow

This is a story of Snake Eyes (GI-Joe) being a operative in the fantastic world of the MCU. Of course, as this is introducing a character from an entirely different universe this story will be an AU. Without further ado, please take a dive through the eyes of Snake. Disclaimer all rights and permissions stay with the original writers and creators. This fan-fic is just to take a spin on what it would be like to have one of my favorite characters in the MCU.

Chapter 26: Strategic Strikes

The cold wind swept across the tarmac as Natasha descended the ramp of the jet. The S.H.I.E.L.D. strike team was already in motion, securing the Overseer and preparing the base for the next phase of their mission. Despite the urgency in the air, everything moved with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. They didn't have time to waste.

Natasha's mind was already on the next step. They had five hubs left to hit, and if even one of them successfully deployed their enhanced soldiers, the world would be facing a crisis like nothing they had seen before. The stakes couldn't be higher, and failure wasn't an option.

She made her way to the temporary command center set up by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents nearby. Inside, large screens displayed the live feeds from satellite images and data streams showing activity at the remaining hubs. Stark's voice crackled over the comms, directing the agents monitoring the feeds.

"Nat," Stark said as soon as she entered, "we've got movement at all five locations. Each of the hubs has ramped up production since we hit the Eastern European site. They're getting ready to deploy enhanced soldiers on a massive scale."

Natasha nodded grimly as she studied the screens. "How much time do we have?"

"Not much," Stark replied. "I'd say we've got a few hours at most before the first wave of soldiers is in the field. We need to hit them fast and hard."

She turned to Fury, who was coordinating the overall operation from a separate command center. His face appeared on one of the screens, his expression as serious as ever. "Fury, we're going to need everything you've got. We'll divide the remaining targets between the S.H.I.E.L.D. strike teams and our other allies, but we need to make sure the timing is perfect. If even one hub is left standing, the Overseer wins."

Fury nodded, his tone calm but urgent. "I've already mobilized additional strike teams. You'll have backup at each location, but we're going to need to hit all five simultaneously. Stark's handling tech support to blind their communications, but the rest is on you."

Natasha took a deep breath, her mind already working through the logistics. "We'll need to split our forces carefully. Each hub is heavily fortified, and we can't afford to be spread too thin. I'll take the hub in Asia. Marks, you'll lead the strike in South America. S.H.I.E.L.D. teams will handle the other three."

Marks nodded, his face serious as he prepared his team. "We'll hit them hard and fast. No delays."

Natasha appreciated Marks' steady resolve. He had proven himself a capable leader during the assault on the Eastern European hub, and she trusted him to handle the South American facility. But the coordination of the simultaneous strikes would be crucial. If any of the teams were delayed or failed to take out their targets, the entire operation could collapse.

Stark chimed in again, his voice cutting through the tension. "I'll be monitoring everything from here. I'll keep the comms lines open, and if anything goes sideways, I'll pull in additional backup."

Natasha's eyes flickered to the screen that displayed the hub she would be leading the assault on. It was located deep within a mountainous region in Asia, fortified by natural barriers as well as advanced defenses. It would be a difficult target, but not impossible. She had taken on worse.

"We hit them in two hours," Natasha said, her voice steady as she turned to her team. "Get ready."

---

The helicopter blades sliced through the cold mountain air as Natasha and her strike team approached the Asian hub. The facility below was well-hidden, nestled within a steep valley surrounded by towering cliffs. From the outside, it looked like nothing more than a research station, but Natasha knew better. Beneath the surface was an advanced operation designed to produce and deploy enhanced soldiers.

Her team was tense but focused, their expressions set with determination. They knew what was at stake. This wasn't just another mission—this was about preventing the rise of an unstoppable force.

"Stark, you still with us?" Natasha asked over the comms, her voice barely audible over the roar of the helicopter.

"I'm here," Stark replied. "I've already cut their external communications. They won't see you coming until you're right on top of them."

Natasha nodded. "Good. We're going in quiet, but once we're inside, we won't hold back."

As the helicopter descended toward the landing zone, Natasha signaled to her team. "We're up. Move fast, stay low, and stick to the plan."

The moment the helicopter touched down, Natasha and her team exited swiftly, taking cover in the dense foliage that surrounded the facility. The hub's exterior appeared quiet, but Natasha knew better than to trust appearances. Security would be tight, and the closer they got, the more likely they were to encounter resistance.

They moved through the trees with practiced precision, advancing toward the outer perimeter. The facility's walls loomed ahead, their sleek metal exterior reflecting the faint light of the moon. Natasha signaled for her team to stop as they approached the first checkpoint.

Two guards stood at the entrance, armed and alert. Natasha observed them for a moment, noting their patterns and the best way to neutralize them without drawing attention. She gave a quick nod to one of her operatives, who crept forward silently.

Within seconds, the guards were down, and the team advanced toward the facility's main entrance.

"Stark," Natasha whispered into her comms, "we're at the entrance. Any signs of internal movement?"

"None yet," Stark replied. "But you'll want to be quick. Once you're inside, it won't be long before they know something's wrong."

Natasha signaled to her team, and they moved swiftly into the facility. The interior was stark and sterile, with long corridors illuminated by harsh fluorescent lights. The silence was unsettling, but Natasha knew that wouldn't last. They had to reach the control center and disable the hub's core systems before the enhanced soldiers could be deployed.

As they moved deeper into the facility, Natasha's instincts kicked into overdrive. Something felt off. The lack of resistance was unusual, especially for a hub that was this critical to the Overseer's operation.

"Stay alert," Natasha warned her team. "Something isn't right."

They reached the control room without encountering any guards, and that's when Natasha knew for certain—they had walked into a trap.

The moment they breached the door to the control room, alarms blared through the facility. Red lights flashed as the building went into lockdown, and Natasha's comms crackled to life.

"Nat, we've got a problem," Stark said, his voice tense. "They knew you were coming. The entire facility is rigged with security measures I didn't catch. You need to move, now."

Natasha cursed under her breath as she scanned the room. The control center was already sealed off, and the hub's internal defenses were activating. They had walked right into the Overseer's trap.

"We need to shut it down before the soldiers are deployed," Natasha said, her voice steady despite the rising tension.

Her team moved quickly, splitting up to disable the facility's defenses while Natasha headed for the core systems. But the Overseer had planned for this—every system was locked, and every second they delayed brought them closer to failure.

Natasha's heart pounded as she worked, her fingers flying over the control panel. "Stark, I need a backdoor into the system. Now."

"I'm working on it," Stark replied. "But it's going to take time."

"We don't have time," Natasha muttered, her frustration mounting.

As she fought to disable the systems, the sound of approaching guards echoed through the hallways. They were running out of time—if the enhanced soldiers were activated, everything they had worked for would be lost.

Natasha clenched her fists, her determination hardening.

They wouldn't lose.
