Chapter 18 Back To School

After staying a week in the hospital,he was finally discharged.

But he wasn't allowed to do any activities that were rigorous.

And for the next few weeks, he could only stay in his dorm because he was still excused from the school until he is healed, was what his master told him.

Some of his classmates came to him at the hospital before and at his dorm after he was discharged.

Lime was crying when she first came to the hospital she thought he was dying.

Good thing it was resolved by telling her that he is fine and could be discharged in a few days and still go back to school.

Then she asked him how he got injured.

Eiji told her everything about the library and the forest as well as the fight with the jaguar.

His master told him not to tell anyone about the sword intent though.

He said that there is a dangerous people that called themselves The sword of Freedom.

They are a band of ronin swordsmen that collects any type of magic and cursed swords.

But they also take bodies from the Blood Sword Clans to research them and try to acquire their Blood Sword powers.

And for them the greatest thing to have would be sword Intent!

If they ever caught wind that a six year old child has managed to acquire sword intent, he couldn't even try to think about what they would do to him!

Lime got mixed feelings when she heard all of Eiji's story.

She couldn't believe that he came to the forest to hunt and forage. She knew that she didn't have a lot of money, but she didn't think about the hardship about being poor, as she was born in a big clan.

And then she was stunned when she heard that he fought a jaguar that was nearly mutated, it was a good thing that teacher Muri was there to save him!

Is what Eiji told him, and also what his Master said to him when people asks him about it.

It is to further cover up his sword Intent.

The teachers in the school won't find anything questionable about it as they knew that they have to secretly protect students that come to the forest to hunt.

And Muri saving his student, is not something out of ordinary.

After Eiji was discharged, he only stayed in his dorm room and trained his ki as well as try to further increase the control of his sword Intent.

These practices only happens inside his body, but it still consumed his mental powers so he still ate a lot.

Good thing the jaguar meat and that huge fowl was preserved by his master Muri.

Now he eats meat in all of his meals!

His ki reserves increase quite a bit and he further increased his control in his new found power.

His master would also come into his room everyday after classes and give him assignments and school activities to work.

So even though he was absent, he wasn't behind from the class.

In fact, he was given more work by his master, by the reasoning that he needs to quickly learn all of these so that he can focus on his sword training!

So Eiji was still busy of school work at his dorm.

He didn't particularly feel bad about it, and besides, if he isn't doing anything he would just get bored, so having to do all of these studying can help him relieve some of his boredom.

After the one week in the hospital and the two weeks confined in his dorm, finally he is now fully healed!

Today he is going back to school again!

He woke up early, ate his breakfast and then took his bag to school.

When he arrived at the classroom, the kids gathered around him, and asked him a lot of questions.

Eiji answered their questions.

But still omitted the things that he was told not to say.

"Hey! Did you really fight a jaguar?!"

"Yeah! It was scary! Good thing sir Muri saved me!"

"Then you really went to the forest?!"

"Yeah! Sir Muri told me after that, that we can really go into the forest to hunt and gather some food and they will protect us!"

"Waaoohh!! Then can I join you bext time?!"

"Yeah that's fine!"

"Really?! Yes! I don't have to eat that really hard, hard tack!"

"Yeah me too! I want to eat meat! And then save some money!"

Eiji agreed to them following him into the forest.

This way it would be safer, and they could gather more food.

Although most of the students that wants to go with him were the orphans, there was Lime that also wanted to go but was hesitant.

"What's wrong?!"

"I want to go too, but I don't think my father would allow it!"

"I also don't think that you should follow us, it might get late when we forage and you will get scolded if your parents find out."

"Yeah! Too bad!"

*RIIIINNNGGG!!

The school bell rang, then Muri came in to start the lessons.

Nothing special happened that day and Eiji's days went back to normal.

Though two things changed.

One, he is going to the forest with another 4 children like him that were orphans and are hunting and foraging in the forest.

Two, is that, he is having a private lessons and training with his master.

Eiji's days became more and more busy, yet he finds it very fulfilling and was very happy about it.
