Note: This is one of my first fanfictions. English is my second language and I'm still learning it, so don't expect the most impeccable writing from me. I had this idea for a while and I wanted to bring it to life, so I started writing. I appreciate any helpful feedback. (A/N: Shirou Emiya's POV and Author's POV)

Shirou couldn't really believe he had woken up in another world, and he was genuinely upset with all the developments that had taken place. Given the fact that he had ended up in one of the most messed-up worlds, where people liked to "test their hypotheses" on "Living Subjects," he was not excited about becoming a lab rat.

He had fallen asleep while taking a bath with a holy maiden, and now his body couldn't develop anymore. Not to mention the fact that the holy maiden saw him as nothing more than a child.

Magicraft*

Now he was a Magus in every sense, and not only that, he possessed the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, an alternative version of the Hero of Justice with mystic eyes. It was definitely something the Golden King wouldn't expect in the future. Will he call me Faker? After all, he would be right now. Shirou thought as he turned in bed and realized he was alone at the moment, not only that, but he was dressed.

Shirou Emiya slowly opened his eyes and blinked a few times to adjust to the light that bathed the room. In front of him stood a young woman with blonde hair and deep blue eyes, dressed in white armor and holding a flag with a fleur-de-lis. It was the Holy Maiden of Orleans, Jeanne d'Arc.

Surprised, Shirou quickly sat up and looked around. Gradually, the memories came back to him. Jeanne d'Arc was one of the legendary figures involved in this conflict.

Jeanne smiled gently at Shirou, recognizing his confused expression.

Jeanne: Good morning, Shirou. I'm glad to see you awake. I apologize for earlier, when I was refusing to protect you. Now I see that you're just a lonely child trying to survive. I hope I can help to the best of my ability.

Shirou looked at Jeanne with determination in his eyes. He was still a child, but his desire to help others and protect those he loved was immense.

Shirou: Don't worry, Jeanne. I want to help. I want to learn how to use magic and fight to protect people. Can you teach me?

Jeanne nodded, impressed by Shirou's courage and determination.

Jeanne: Certainly, Shirou. But unfortunately, I can't teach you the basics of Magicraft so you can defend yourself in this world. Magic is a powerful tool, but it also requires discipline and dedication.

Shirou smiled excitedly, ready to face any challenge.

Shirou: I'm ready, Jeanne. I'll dedicate myself fully and become a Magus capable of protecting everyone!

Jeanne reached out her hand to help Shirou up.

Jeanne: Then let's begin. I'll make breakfast while you can try activating your magic circuits, if possible, try doing it subconsciously.

So Shirou went to an area of the room and tried to activate his magic circuit, but nothing happened. So what the hell is a Magic Circuit? After all, I need to have a better understanding of what I'm doing.

The term refers to a magical system present in this fiction, in which humans possess an internal organ capable of generating and controlling magical energy, allowing them to practice magic.

The existence of magic circuits is an innate aspect of humans. Some individuals have a greater number and quality of magic circuits, which gives them a greater aptitude for practicing magic. These circuits are similar to veins or nerves and are distributed throughout the human body. However, they are not externally visible.

Magic circuits serve as conductors and reservoirs of magical energy, allowing magic practitioners to access and manipulate this

energy to cast spells or perform magical rituals. Magical energy is channeled through the circuits and converted into specific magical actions. The more magic circuits a person has, and the more developed and healthy they are, the more magical energy they can manipulate, and therefore, the greater their potential as a mage.

Magic circuits are the internal organs responsible for generating and controlling magical energy, allowing humans to practice magic and cast spells.

He wondered what he did wrong. Shirou continued to ponder until he remembered that Magi usually self-hypnotize to activate their circuits. For example, if stabbed, or in my case, I guess I activated it when I broke my arm, I must have activated it and broken my arm. So I'll need something similar unfortunately to activate the circuit. (A/N: However, they play the important role of self-hypnosis: putting the mage's mind in a state where they can effectively control the Magic Circuits.)

Now with the idea in mind, Shirou used exactly what was done when he activated his magic circuit.

Zap*

A Christmas tree lights up on his arm, along with 50 magic circuits, apparently, an addition of 23 circuits from Shirou's original 27.

With this, I can now provide enough magical energy to my Servant. And now the question is, what do I do next? I'm a child in this world, and I don't have anyone to supervise me.

Tok Tok!*

[Who is knocking on the front door?!] Shirou wondered in his mind.

Shirou moved towards the door, and there, at the door, was the holy maiden, ready to open it.

Clop*

As soon as the Holy Maiden opened the door, there stood a priest with his hands behind his back. It was none other than Risei Kotomine.

Risei Kotomine is a tall and slender man with an imposing presence. He has an austere and distinct figure, usually dressed in clerical attire. His hair is short and dark brown, neatly combed back. His eyes are sharp and piercing, conveying an intensity that reveals his determination.

Kotomine's face is angular, with a serious and calm expression, almost undisturbed. He has a pale and slightly translucent complexion, which gives him an enigmatic and almost supernatural appearance. His posture is upright, and his demeanor is elegant, showing strict discipline in his movements.

"Good morning, my lady, and to you, young man," said the cleric who came to investigate the death of this young man's body.

["Well, shit"] Shirou thought.
