Note: This is one of my first fanfictions. English is my second language and I'm still learning it, so don't expect the most impeccable writing from me. I had this idea for a while and I wanted to bring it to life, so I started writing. I appreciate any helpful feedback. Also, again I don't own anything except my own MC and I don't want to offend any party. This is just for entertainment. enjoy~

""Hero of Justice? A world where no one is hurt?" Don't be absurd. "Humanity" is the name for an animal that cannot find joy in life without sacrifice. " – Gilgamesh

(POV: Shirou NOT YET "Emiya" and author's POV)

Shirou couldn't help but feel tense as he saw the individual standing in front of him and thought, "Why on earth did he come here now?" After all, it didn't make sense for him to visit in person.

"Please come in and have a seat. Young Shirou will prepare some tea for us," said Jeanne d'Arc, opening the door for the priest who wanted to speak with them.

"Very well then. Excuse me," said the priest, entering the house and moving towards the sofa.

Upon hearing what his servant had said, Shirou quickly left the priest behind, hiding his command seals and going to fetch a glove before making the tea. But not before conveying through a look and a signal to Jeanne not to say anything.

**

Minutes later, Shirou returned carrying three teacups along with a teapot, filling the air with a myriad of scents. Shirou couldn't help but think that his culinary skills, as a man who lived alone, had made drastic advances in pure dexterity and ability. Shirou, the most incredible housewife in the anime world.

"Excuse me!" exclaimed Shirou, arriving at the small table.

Shirou served three teacups, made by himself, after exchanging a glance with his servant. She decided to ask the million-dollar question.

"So, sir, why are you here? And who are you?" said the servant of the Saint of Orleans.

"My name is Risei Kotomine, I am a clergyman from the Church here in Fuyuki. In light of the events involving the '****' family, I came to see how the young Shirou is doing, considering he suffered a great loss," Risei Kotomine said, showing a hint of sadness on his face.

"If she had been alone, I intended to adopt her. But now I see that it's not necessary," Risei answered the servant's question.

"Yes, indeed. My aunt and I are going to live together from now on," said Shirou, who had been quiet until then, hinting to the servant that she should be referred to as his "aunt."

"Yes, I intend to raise him. After what happened to his parents," said the servant, showing sadness when speaking of Shirou's deceased parents, "I still need to find a job since I spent most of my life in a convent abroad and only recently arrived here," the holy maiden finished speaking.

"That's very good! We don't have many members helping in our church, so I believe I can help with something to support the church and also assist the young Shirou," said the priest, offering some good options to the two.

"That would be great for us," said Shirou, looking at his "aunt." Shirou thought that maybe this was how Shirou Kotomine was born, being adopted by Father Risei Kotomine.

"Here on this card is the location of our church. You both are very welcome there. Little Shirou, since you are a strong boy, I can teach you a form of meditation, Bajiquan, which is a type of martial arts. I only teach it to someone who won't use it against another person unless in self-defense. And as for our services, they are held twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday. Once you start working there, I will delve into what you will be doing. And what you will do," said Risei Kotomine, showing a slight smile to the boy.

Risei Kotomine stood up, as did Shirou and Jeanne.

"That's basically what I wanted to say. Goodbye," said Risei Kotomine, giving a slight bow and moving towards the door to leave. Jeanne accompanied him.

**

After Jeanne returned to the living room and looked at the little boy who was having tea when she had left. She couldn't help but have doubts about this man named Risei Kotomine.

Jeanne moved to sit in front of him.

"Why did you become tense when he appeared?" Jeanne d'Arc asked him.

"He is connected to the Holy Grail War. I don't even know how he hasn't figured out that you are a Servant. He's the person overseeing the Holy Grail War on behalf of the church. Maybe you didn't notice, but on his right arm, he has a large number of Command Seals," Shirou stated a fact for everyone.

"I see, perhaps he didn't come with that intention. Upon seeing that you were fine, he simply let you go?" the holy maiden asked, somewhat skeptical.

"Well, I have the ability to sense a person's body through touch. It's a biokinetic ability. Just like how I sensed that you came with a physical body. Have you ever tried astralizing? I can confirm that you can't," Shirou said, hiding the fact that it was likely Alaya who saved him so he could become a "Hero of Justice." Well, that wouldn't happen now. Right?

"Well, I think we should become part of his church. Not only that, I don't think he really wants harm for us. The problem lies with his son. He has a psychopathic, sadistic son who enjoys the suffering of others. That's our main issue. For now, let's take advantage of what he's offering," Shirou said to her.

"Um..." the holy maiden was completely embarrassed, trying to say something but unable to.

"What's wrong, Jeanne?" he asked, raising his eyebrow.

"I can't read," said the blushing holy maiden, completely embarrassed.

Looking at her, Shirou couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Not just because she couldn't read, but if he were to teach her how to read, all the hiragana, katakana, and kanji.

"Well, you can't help your bad luck when it comes to characters, whether it's kanji, hiragana, or katakana. It'll be quite difficult to learn. I hope the Grail system provided you with that knowledge. But I don't see a problem in teaching you," Shirou affirmed with a slight smile.

At that moment, Jeanne couldn't help but embrace the little boy who was going to teach her how to read.
