The Fish Has Taken The Bait 

After the farce was over, Huo Man returned to her small outhouse alone.

In a chaotic world, her outhouse was like a paradise. When the Huo Family did not disturb her, she felt even more carefree.

Huo Man was about to lie down on the bed and have a good sleep when Tang Qin called again.

"Huo Man, White Bear will be heading to the bar tonight to conduct the business."

Hearing this, Huo Man's hand tightened around her phone.

White Bear was a member of the organization, or to be exact, he used to be.

Huo Man and the others had developed a new AI technology, but before the technology was announced to the public, a company had already gotten first-hand information.

If it weren't for Huo Man's careful planning, the technology would've been stolen by that company.

During the process, Huo Man also happened to discover the traitor, White Bear.

Hence, she decided to beat him at his own game. Instead of punishing the White Bear, she kept a close eye on his movements and took the opportunity to catch him and the people from that company in one fell swoop.

Huo Man had long expected that the company would not give up even after its failed attempt.

The fish had taken the bait.

"Send me the address, I'll go take a look."

It was rare for Huo Man to go and catch people in person. Tang Qin immediately said, "The bar he's headed to is a place where the good and the bad intermingle. Let me bring our forces there."

"You don't believe me?" Huo Man asked.

Tang Qin was speechless. After a while, he said,"I'm just worried about your safety."

"Don't worry, dealing with White Bear and a few small fries is a piece of cake." Huo Man accepted Tang Qin's good intentions and insisted on doing things her way.

Tang Qin was aware that he wouldn't be able to change Huo Man's mind, so he agreed. "Okay, be careful. I'll be monitoring the scene through the bar's camera and be ready with support at all times."

With Tang Qin around, Huo Man was put at ease.

Night fell quietly. Huo Man changed into casual clothes, put on a baseball cap, and headed to the bar mentioned by Tang Qin.

Fragrance Bar was one of the most luxurious bars in South City.

The people who came here were either rich or powerful. Without a VIP card, one could not even step into this bar.

The security guard at the door saw that Huo Man was dressed simply and was about to stop the 'schoolgirl', but Huo Man didn't give him the chance. She took out a Black Gold VIP card from her pocket and held it in front of the security guard.

The one standing before him was a VIP among VIPs!

The security guard suddenly felt that he had failed to recognize Mt. Tai, so he hurriedly bowed and welcomed Huo Man in.

It wasn't dark yet, so there weren't many people in the bar. However, the music made Huo Man feel a little dizzy.

Huo Man found a seat and ordered a glass of orange juice, unlike the others. Because of this, she quickly became the center of attention.

In a bar filled with heat and passion, a pure girl like Huo Man was targeted easily very often.

Huo Man quickly sensed many hungry gazes on her.

She was like a prey about to be caught by an eagle, bare and exposed.

Among these gazes, there was one that was different.

"I ask, who are you looking at?! So she's your little fiancée!"

Cao Chen had been chattering non-stop beside Shen Bei. When he saw that Shen Bei did not speak for a long time, he realized that he was staring at a certain someone downstairs in a daze.

"Shen Bei, don't tell me you've really fallen for this girl? What's so good about her? She can't even hold a candle to Mary and Lucy!" Cao Chen could not figure out why Shen Bei, who had seen so many beautiful women yet remained unmoved, would be interested in that country bumpkin.

What was she doing here?

Was she at Fragrance for entertainment or fishing for guys? Perhaps, she had other things to do?
