Did I Miss Something?

Anna looked at herself in the mirror, after feeling that she looked better Anna took her bag and cell phone and walked out, but Anna was surprised by a big bodyguard standing in front of the room.

"Madam, do you need something? Just tell me, and I will bring it for you," said the big bodyguard politely when he saw his boss' wife coming out of the room.

"I have a business," said Anna. Then he walked quietly away from the bodyguard.

"I will escort you, ma'am," said the bodyguard who followed Anna from behind.

"No need," Anna replied flatly and went straight to the elevator.

"Sorry ma'am, but I was ordered by the boss to keep you safe," he replied while stopping the elevator door from closing.

Anna pulled the corners of her lips slightly to display a smirk that was so cold on her pretty face because she heard the reason given by the bodyguard.

'There is no reason for him to keep me safe while he is the reason I live like this's thought, Anna.

Without saying anything Anna let the bodyguard follow her while thinking of ways to get free from the bodyguard's scrutiny.

"I want to go to the toilet, you can wait for me here," Anna said coldly when they arrived at the lobby. Anna immediately left the bodyguard.

"Yes ma'am," he said politely, looking down without feeling suspicious.

Anna is quite familiar with this hotel because she has been here several times to meet Fania who works here, so more or less she knows about the ins and outs of this hotel including the way out of the pantry.

Luck was with Anna because several hotel pantry employees recognized her as the manager's sister, so they gave her access to Anna without asking anything.

After Anna made it out of the hotel through the pantry, she went straight to an online taxi that was waiting for her not far from the entrance. Anna could see that the bodyguard was faithfully waiting for her in the lobby.

"Buuganvil Residence Cemetery," he said to the taxi driver then immediately Anna deactivated her cell phone.

"Okay miss," replied the taxi driver then drove the car slowly towards their destination.

The taxi stopped at the cemetery after traveling for 20 minutes at a moderate speed, Anna got off as soon as she finished paying the taxi bill. Anna walked slowly into the tomb area which looked deserted as usual, especially since it was already four o'clock in the afternoon.

"Hi, how have you been for the past week dear," Anna said as soon as she arrived at Fateh's grave, she could see so many fresh flowers that they covered the grave.

Anna is sure that her family takes care of the tomb so that it is always clean and smells good, with the smell of fresh flowers. But still, she felt better if she did it alone.

"I'm going to leave this town honey," she whispered. Anna accidentally saw the ring pinned on her ring finger, she laughed at herself for her current status. For her, there is nothing funnier in this world than the way her life is.

"You know honey, I hate him so much that I can get angry just being around him, and that makes me sick. But for you, I will live it without complaining. Remember only for you," she said again with an emphasis on every sentence.

Only the sounds of small animals that answered each other when Anna said every word, she believed that Fateh could hear her complaints even though she didn't answer her words.

With a heavy heart Anna left the cemetery because it was getting dusk, Anna walked to the gate of the complex while reminiscing about all the memories with the deceased, when they often jogged or took evening walks in the complex area when they were still living at Fateh's parents' house.

How they joked and laughed at each other, raced, and even walked casually while greeting the residents of the complex they met, everything felt very beautiful at that moment, occasionally Anna gave a faint smile as she passed through a street full of memories.

Unknowingly, her steps stopped in front of her parents-in-law's house which looked deserted, it seemed they were taking a break after returning from their parent's house. For a moment Anna recalled the house for her to keep in her heart as part of her most beautiful memory.

When Sebastian returned to the hotel, he did not find any bodyguards guarding Anna nor was Anna in the room.

Sebastian went straight to the bathroom to wash his face and feet, after which he climbed into the basket to rest a bit before dinner.

Sebastian could feel the soothing aroma of coffee from the sheets and pillows, he was sure it was Anna's scent, and for some reason, Sebastian quickly fell asleep just because he inhaled the aroma.

Meanwhile, in another room, Smith and the bodyguards were busy looking for Anna's whereabouts, after they found the point where Anna was swiftly Smith ordered them to pick up her mistress before the boss realized that his wife was not with the bodyguards.

"How can a reliable bodyguard like you be fooled," said Smith, glancing coldly at a bodyguard who has the undoubted ability.

"Sorry," he said with his head down without defending himself.

Smith would be just as terrible as their Boss if he was in an angry mode like now and that made everyone feel scared, including himself. After all, this was indeed his fault for easily believing his mistress's reasons.

'Besides, who wouldn't believe in his own boss' wife' he thought.

It was already seven o'clock in the evening but there was no sign of Anna returning when the bodyguards arrived at the place where Anna was going they did not find her there.

Smith who got the report was getting angry because he lost track of his mistress, 'how can it be this difficult just looking for a woman he thought annoyed? Smith had no other choice but to report this incident to his boss.

"Boss, it's me," he said from the outside. After that, he ventured into his boss's private room.

"Have they arrived yet?" His cold voice snapped Smith from his reverie.

"Yes, sir, and ladies and gentlemen have arrived, they are waiting for you," Smith said with difficulty.

Sebastian, who is currently wearing a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up and wearing trousers of the same color, sits on a single sofa making him look like an angel of death who is so beautiful, but ready to take people's lives whenever he wants and that makes Smith a little scared.

"Did I miss something?" he asked calmly as he folded his arms and stared coldly at his assistant.

"Sorry boss, but madam has not returned until now, mistress managed to trick the bodyguard I ordered to look after madam," said Smith with his head down, seen occasionally adjusting the position of his modern glasses perched on his sharp nose.

Sebastian involuntarily pursed his lips a little after hearing that Anna could trick a bodyguard who was highly trained, and that increased the level of his good looks, but unfortunately, Smith couldn't see something so rare that he had never even seen it from his boss.

"Forget it. I won't marry a woman who doesn't know her way back," he said calmly, and then he got up and left the room.

Sebastian had already realized that Anna was not with his bodyguard because until he woke up, Anna had not returned either, but for him, it was not a big problem because this city would not make her get lost, he thought.

When Smith was surprised by his boss' answer, he wanted to ask what his boss meant but he didn't.

'This means there's no need to look for a mistress like that?' heart monologue.

Smith thinks that his performance at work and understanding his boss has decreased recently, because he doesn't understand what his boss is saying this time, even though he has always been good at completing tasks with a very perfect level of success, otherwise how could he be an assistant to his boss? which is so 'great' for everyone who works under the boss's hand.

Without thinking, Smith followed his boss who had entered the elevator to go to the room that had been prepared for dinner with the three members of his boss's family.
