The sound of Xermo falling to the ground repeated constantly. William was making use of the terrains to snipe the Xermo that was roaming around in small groups. When it was just one Xermo, he would simply punch them away.
Before long, he had already gained his previous instinct that was honed from battlefield. Normal people would not directly jump in front of their enemies to initiate close combat but William knew that his attacking style would have to change from time to time.
Aside from attacking Xermo, William was also busy picking some usable items from the stores. This area had been swept by the soldiers from time to time, so there were not many items left. Still, he managed to find some cigarettes along with some other small utensil that he chose to pack and brought in his backpack.
It took him a few hours to leave the area, further away from City V20.
'I guess it's time.'
