The Commander snorted. He was looking at the group of Xermo around them. "Even if this will be my grave, I'll make sure to bring as much as possible. Do you really think that a soldier know the word give up?"

The Commander started to move towards the Xermo while Kelvin merely snorted. He glanced at William, who also looked like he was ready to pounce on them. "If you take even a step forward, your wife will die."
William arched his eyebrows. Contrary to their expectation, a small smile tugged on the corner of his lips. "Oh, really?"

Herald wanted to say 'of course' when he felt a soft hand touched his own arm. The young woman in his arms who were supposed to be unconscious spoke softly, "Do you really think of me as a damsel in distress? I really hate that."
