There was faint mixed sound from the walkie talkie and William furrowed his brows as he prepared to fight the Mutated Blood Xermo. It was time for him to put his knife into good use.
"Will…Will!"
"Wha…? Yan, Gloria?" William faintly heard their voices from the walkie talkie. He had guessed as much that they slipped away from the back line when he failed to contact Lui back then. After all, Lui would not leave alone and the only one who could possibly give him order would be either Gloria or Yan.
"We're near the building. There's bad news." Gloria was holding the walkie talkie and looked at the building before her. Xermo was still streaming out from the front door but her eyes were fixated at the top of the building. "Someone is controlling the Xermo by making use of the transmitter on top of the building."
