Mark and his mother is sitting on a clean floor, both silent for a while while the dead man beside them is

not moving.

Right now, Mark is back to his normal self, feelings of guilt and fright hitting his heart at the moment. But surprisingly, he can't shed any tears now. He wants to cry, but couldn't.

"Mark." The young mother broke the silence.

"Mom, I'm, I'm so sorry. I didn't ---"

"No need to be sorry Mark." The mother cut his words.

"Mark, do you love me?"

That question made Mark froze for a while.

"Why do you ask that Mom? You do know that I love you so much."

The mother went silent for a while. "If you love me, do what I will tell you to do today, okay?"

"Anything mom."

The woman then handed a piece of paper out oh her pocket and gave it to Mark. The paper contained a cellphone number in it.

"Don't worry Mark about the matter of killing your father. I will make sure the crime will fall on me."

Mark just listened.

"Mark, go and live with your aunt for a while. After this, I will be imprisoned, then call that number and say my name. The man on that phone will know. Just keep silent about this matter and if they ask you what you know, just keep silent."

"Mom." Right now, Mark can't understand clearly what his mother is saying, but he knows that she is trying to save him.

"Go wash your hands and go immediately. I'll call your aunt and the police. Just make sure to forget this moment and live a happy life." The woman embraced Mark and kissed his forehead while Mark started to cry.

"Mark. Remember that mommy loves you. We'll meet again soon. Just make sure you'll do well from now on."

.

..

It was at this moment that Mark made another goal in his life, to make sure his mother will not stay in the prison for a long time and make the rest of her life happy.
