Hunt

Tyler woke up when he felt something tugging at his sleeve, he opened his eyes and found Max "What's going on fella do you want to play for a bit?"

The young wolf looked at him and began wagging its tail and jumping around. They began running around the dungeon. He had nothing to do at the moment so he just spent it with his summons.

Yuna was also playing around with Max, she would float in front of him and he would try to pounce on her but ended up going through her. The first time the young wolf had tried to get her he ended up running headfirst to the dungeon wall.

After spending a few hours together he entered his room to see how the skeletons were doing. When he entered he was surprised when he found that they had finished the 20 feet by 10 feet hallway at the right corner of his office.

Tyler began inspecting it and was satisfied after all the whole thing was done with pickaxes that by now were being less effective due to the long uses. He made the skeletons start on a lower floor. Their job was not to start making a staircase at the end of the new hallway.

After getting them started he collected the stone debris and went back to the main room where the cages were.

"Let's take a look at how many points I'm short on," he thought.

After looking at his current SP he sighed "Come on what the hell only 10 SP short".

He looked at Max "Should I just let him bring something and kill it so that we can have enough for the Hawk."

Tyler thought about it for a good while, the temptation was huge but in the end, he shook his head "No I wouldn't risk it, it would suck if we get found out just because I couldn't wait another day".

He trained with Yuna and plasma for the rest of the day. He was beaten up after Plasma began showing off. He could tell that the slime was showing Max who the second hand summon was.

He made sure to feed the Bear and the Kobold since he didn't give them anything the day before. Once everything was done he went to sleep, he had Plasma on his left side and Max on his right.

The next morning he immediately went to the monster tab and bought the Hawk. The moment he bought the Hawk he felt something grip his shoulder. When he looked at what it was he found a black hawk that was about 2 feet tall and with a wingspan of 6 feet wide.

He was surprised when he found it on top of his shoulder, he closed his eyes expecting to start feeling the piercing pain of it as its claws dug into his skin but it never came. When he looked closely he found that they couldn't pierce through. He let out a sigh of relief "It looks like being a demon isn't all that bad".

"Hey, big guy lets call you Storm from now on".

The Hawk gave out a screech that made him cover his ears, the dungeon made the noise bounce off the walls increasing how loud it was. He looked at the Storm "can you understand me", he asked.

The Hawk seemed to nod, which gave him a big surprise. He called Max over and then began explaining the plan. "This is Max, he will be in charge of hunting small animals and bringing them here to kill them. Your job is to look around and make sure that he stays away from humans and that they don't follow him".

He looked back at the two animals, he was still very doubtful that they were understanding him so he asked if they understood him. Both of the animals nodded at the same time which creeped him out a bit since he still couldn't get used to it.

Tyler gave them a smile "Okay now that you know your jobs it time for you two to get started".

He took off the wall that served as camo and door. The hawk gave one last screech and flew out, the wolf followed. Tyler quickly closed the door again and began looking at his map which allowed him to see what was outside for about 10 feet radius.

After waiting for about 40 minutes he found that a green dot was running to the door. He quickly made the door disappear and in came Max which had an orange lizard half-dead from its jaws. Tyler gave him a smile and patted his head "Well done boy you did great, you can kill it now".

The wolf wagged his tail after hearing his master and when he got the permission to kill he immediately closed his jaws killing the lizard instantly. Tyler gave him another pat on the head and pointed outside again "Try it again Max but make sure you come back when the sun goes down there might be some dangerous monsters in the night".

Tyler quickly checked his stats.

He began calculating how much he had gotten "If I did my math correctly which I did then after getting the hawk I should have been left with 35 SP. If I have 60 SP now that means that small lizard gave me 25 points I wonder if they all give me this little. If I left them alive then would the lizard also have given me 30 daily points.

At the end of the day, Max had brought him 3 horned rabbits, a boar piglet and a fox that was scared out of his mind. After that, Max seemed exhausted so he made him stop and he called Storm over.

When the Hawk came in he was carrying an owlet in his claws. Once they had all rested he began looking at the arrangements that he had done, the Fox was locked in his room with Plasma keeping it under control. He let the baby boar run around and he was playing around with it. The horned rabbits were being watched over by Max and Storm.

The owlet that Storm had caught was taken care of by Tyler who had put him in his chest pocket of his coat.

After a while, he went to sleep or at least he tried to since there the dungeon had gotten a lot noisier. "Hopefully all these creatures will give me a good amount of points otherwise the bear and kobold will have a good meal".
