Change of Plans

Tyler woke up to a new day, he was excited but scared at the same time. He was going to die of boredom if something didn't change. It had been a little more than a week and he was getting sick of staying inside doing nothing.

His boredom was to the point where he was considering to begin training the monsters that he had. The plan was to use Plasma to keep them away while he entered and fed them, that way they could make a more stable connection that he was the one who fed them.

He thought that he should start with the Kobold. He got cold feet when he imagined the Kobold ignoring Plasma and charging at him. In the end, he decided to find a way to catch a few things on the outside.

For his plan to work with the minimal risk he would have to summon some creatures that were alive so that even if people saw them they wouldn't be spooked by the undead. He opened up his status to see how many points he had to work with.

When Tyler saw his stats he jumped up from happiness his stamina had increased by 20 points, he now had 105 SP and he had gained a skill. He looked at the board more closely.

"So I'm able to increase my stats by working out an insane amount. If I repeatedly perform an action then I might be able to make my own skill" he thought

After knowing that he had Tyler began looking at the Monster tab and scanned through possible summons that could travel outside without arousing suspicion. He ended up shorting in the list to 4 possible choices.

Wolf

Cost: 75

Level 1

An adolescent wolf that has yet to evolve. It can understand complex commands if trained correctly. Like any wolf, it enjoys being part of a pack and is extremely loyal. After leveling up to level 10 it can evolve into a elemental wolf. Its speed and power are increased and it will be able to gain a random elemental attribute that it can use to attack and defend.

Python

Cost: 75

Level 1

An adolescent python that has yet to evolve. It understands basic commands and can become a great asset if taken care of correctly. It is known for its incredible sizes since it will slowly keep growing until it dies. After leveling up to level 10 it can evolve into Dire Python. Its speed, power, and size are increased. Warning!!!: The bigger it gets the hungrier it'll become.

Hawk

Cost: 100

Level 1

An adolescent Hawk that has yet to evolve. It understands complex commands. It's nicknamed the wolves of the sky and had unparalleled eyesight. After leveling up to level 10 it can evolve into a Blood Hawk. Its speed, power, and intelligence is increased and can use wind attacks.

Bear

Cost: 75

Level 1

An adolescent bear that has yet to evolve. Can understand complex commands. Has an incredible amount of health and power. One of its most feared qualities is that it's extremely territorial and is willing to commit suicidal attacks to keep intruders away. After leveling up to level 10 it can evolve into a Sun Bear. Its speed and power are increased and it will be able to use fire attacks that are not much weaker than a dragon's.

Tyler read them over again to make sure that he had chosen correctly. "Well looks like when living creatures are summoned they will be adolescents". He was okay with this since it meant that he wouldn't have to worry about them dying old old age anytime soon.

He was also interested in seeing if he could farm them. Since they were in the middle of becoming adults then he wouldn't have to worry so much about them to have cubs. That would save him an insane amount of points if they were able to reproduce.

No matter how much he wanted to summon a python and see how powerful it can be he crossed it off the list. It might be too slow and with such an ability to keep growing, he had a feeling that they were hunted on sight.

The bear was also really interesting but he was scared that it would attract too much attention. It was probably the biggest one on the list. Based on the decision it would be more suited for guarding the cave. Not to mention that with the bear he had in the cage was enough, once he trained it he might be able to use it as a guard.

The ones that were left were the hawk and wolf. A mix of the two would be the most suitable3, the wolf should be a good hunter and he wouldn't attract as much attention as the bear. At first, he was thinking of summoning 2 wolves one would hunt and bring the animals alive and kill them in the cave.

The other one was going to watch the back of the first and let it know if it was being followed. After reading about the hawk he found that it was the best for scouting.

"Well that makes it official a wolf and hawk pair should be able to handle traveling without having anyone know that there is a dungeon. Now all I have to do is save up enough and summon both."

He gathered Plasma and Yuna "Hey guys today we are getting a new companion are you guys ready".

Both the Sprite and Slime began jumping around looking around trying to find where their new companion was. Tyler couldn't help but laugh "Don't worry he is going to be here soon".

He purchased the wolf fist since it was going to be more comfortable in the cave. After pressing the purchase button he was tackled in the back. When he turned around he found himself looking at a wolf.

"Hey, big guy how are you". The wolf began wagging its tail and stuck out his tongue, Plasma and Yuna began inspecting it. Plasma was poking his body around while Yuna was making a water model of water and making it move around like it was another wolf.

Tyler began petting the wolf "How about we start calling you Max from now on".

The wolf began wagging its tail harder showing that it accepted the name. "Looks like you're not a picky one are you haha". Tyler had always wanted a dog but since his wife didn't like them he gave up on the idea.

He shook his head making sure that he concentrated on the now if he ever got the chance to get back at her he swore to himself that he would take it.

After summoning Max he was left with 30 SP if he wanted to summon the hawk then he would need two more days. Tyler looked at the monsters in the cages "Sorry guys today there will be no food I'll give it to you tomorrow".

He began training with Yuna and the slime skeleton again, Max was just sitting down looking at them while wagging his tail.

After the long training, he fell asleep with Max snuggled beside him.
