CHAPTER 15: Healing Element Awakening

The visible golden sparks that surrounded her hands then enveloped Kean's body, the glowing fragments travelled and entered everypart of his body. The wound on Kean's neck disappeared, not even a single scratch remained.

Alice watched the scene with complete shock.

Layla also stared at her hands in disbelief, she instantly examined Kean's neck countless times, but she really healed him, she made sure she wasn't hallucinating.

Alice also examined him, she checked his pulse, a smile blossomed in her face and she immediately hugged Layla.

"Thank you for saving my brother. I don't know what I would do without him."

Alice genuinely thanked her, she didn't know how to express her extreme happiness, at the fact that Kean was perfectly healed.

Layla smiled back. "I don't even know how I did that but I'm happy that he's okay."

"I think you awakened healing magic." Alice spoke.

"All this magic stuff will give me a headache today. He is still unconscious, what do we do now?"

Alice carried Kean in her arms while using her telekinesis ability to make him lighter.

HOURS LATER

Huh? I'm not dead, somehow I feel warm.

I forced open my eyes, as I tilted my head I glanced at Alice who rested on my side with a peaceful smile, the room was a little dark with fire in the middle.

My mind went overdrive, I instantly sat up, touching my neck all the way to the shoulder, not even a scar was left!

'Someone please explain what's going on!!!' I screamed on my mind as I was more baffled.

Layla who seemed to be cooking something on the fire glanced on my direction, she abruptly came running and threw herself at me. Alice sleepily rubbed her eyes and sat up.

"You finally woke up." Layla whimperd.

"I can't believe I almost lost you." Alice whisperd in a soft voice.

Alice and Layla squeezed me in their imbrace and sobbed on my chest, I just patted their backs.

"I owe you both my thanks for saving me, so thank you very much."

They both stared at me with sultry eyes.

"I will give up my life for you." Alice sobbed softy

"I will heal you when you get enjured and protect you from any danger, It will finally be me and you once Alice has given up her life for you." Layla smirked at Alice

This emotional moment quickly escalated to something else.

"You ruined the moment, cheeky little brat I will." She pinched Layla's cheek.

"Aaww!"

"What really happened today??"

Alice and Layla explained today's events, from where I got attacked to the part where Alice feinted because she overused her magical powers after carrying me to this cave.

The rumours about magic where true after all.

"So you awakened telekinesis ability, and you awakened healing magic."

They nodded in sync.

"That's really epic."

Layla stood up and dashed away, she came back with a cup and spoon.

"Here, you must be hungry."

Layla offerd me the canned beans which had

a nice scent.

I grabbed a spoon to eat, Alice snatched it away from me.

"I will feed you, your arm hasn't fully recovered after all, right?"

I tried to reply to her but she immediately shoved the spoon in my mouth.

Alice started feeding me, something she only did when I was sick.

After getting my fill I asked if they was a water source for bathing, my skin was all sticky.

I analysed the curved walls using a flashlight, I made sure they was nothing hiding. The water was clear as the day.

I immediately threw away my shorts and stepped inside the small rock bath.

Exactly how Layla and Alice described.

The water was freezing, after taking a bath I immediately returned back.

"Did you enjoy?"

"The cold water is really refreshing." I smiled.

"Since they is only one blanket, we should share." Alice suggested.

"You mean the blanket which we will be sleeping on top of since we can't just sleep on the bare floor."

"The fire will be enough to warm us. And if we are close to each other we might not need the fire." I opined while faking a serious expression.

Layla averted my eyes and looked the other direction.

she was blushing, probably from thinking something lewd.

Alice and Layla then battled in rock paper scissors for who should sleep in the middle.

I didn't care where I slept actually but since I wasn't invited in the game I wanted to see their reaction if I forced myself in the middle.

Alice won, she was already in the middle wearing a slip.

Layla was still wearing her shorts and t-shirt.

"Make space, I'm sleeping in the middle." I demanded.

"No way! I'm sleeping in the middle."

I tried to drag her away but she said was persistent, I gave up.

I settled on Layla's side.

"You know it's dangerous for a healthy man to be in this position." I grumbled

"Please bare with it." Alice chuckled
