Tartarus. An extremely horrible place, the darkest pit in the whole of the Underworld, the spawning ground of the most vilest of monsters, and the prison where most of the Titans were chained.
Its darkness was infinite and neverending, evoking a sense of terror and despair in the hearts of even the mightiest of Gods. Every culture, every civilization, across all of Creation, tells their own version of nightmarish tales of a bogeyman to scare children, the Gods? They have Tartarus.
And it was exactly this place Damian and Claire were trying to transverse. And frankly, Damian would only be joking if he said it was easy. No, even phrasing it that way was selling it short. It was the most terrible, the most horrendous, the most dreadful, and the most chaotic place Damian had ever found himself in.
