Chapter 5 Raptilia's Past

The next day had started and Fang wandered around the desolate academy wondering when the students would arrive. The only people present were the boarders, the ministry , Neo and himself.

He took this as a chance to think about his dragon name Linux Flare which he had paid little attention to up to this point. 

Why didn't his mom ever tell him about it? Did his father ever tell her that he was part of an exiled dragon race.

While he was dwelling on this , several columns of dust started to spiral around the entire school. Gradually getting taller and taller until it seemed that they had touched the clouds. 

After a few seconds the whirlwinds subsided leaving a large dust heap in its place while the rest was carried away by the air.

The students had successfully teleported to the academy, some transported on their own while others were in groups. It was time for the first day of the new term to begin.

Their first lesson for his class was Geography where he learnt about the terrain of this planet. A globe of Raptilia that stood on the teacher's desk showed the Grasslands continent where the school was located which looked similar to a distorted Europe minus the UK, Italy and Russia. Below it was the Southern Desert continent separated from the other continent by a large sea.

To the East was a large green line that ran down both continents. This represented Raptilia's Great Rainforest. On the forest's right was the Ash Continent that spanned from the Eastern to the Western hemisphere and was home to several volcanoes and rivers of flowing lava. Coloured black by the substance that gives its name.

On the bottom and top of the globe were the polar regions inhabited by no one.

After the period was over they moved on to History. There he learnt more about the Pyronovas and their origins. The first Pyronova was the son of the deceased Great All Dragon who created all of the different races of dragons inspired by the humans he had seen. 

Pyronova inherited the pyro ability from him while Crystal, his twin sister, had the water ability. Both of them founded their own religions , Pyronova was known for his red scales while Crystal had blue. 

Pyronova was followed by the pyro wielders while Crystal was followed by the hydro and wind wielders. Hydro wielders were mostly of Caucasian and Asian descent while wind wielders were mostly of Arab , African and Mongol origin and were mostly adept with ranged weapons.

Sometime at the beginning of the Renaissance a worldwide conflict on Raptilia began that lasted for over 300 years.

Several dragons and some human volunteers withdrew from Earth to fight against or with the aggressive Pyronovas. The war ended with the death of the Deity twins. 

Once the war was over the Pyronovas were banned from visiting Earth and exiled to the distant asteroid field.
