Into the Board

Alex has been on sit for less than a week but he's been sucked into the issues Barcelona has been battling for over a year after the expulsion of the last president who was removed by the socios after cases of financial mismanagement and fraud allegations were brought against him.

Alex was currently in a meeting with Nike who were here to assure him of their added and continued sponsorship of fc Barcelona which they've been in a professional relationship with for over two decades, Nike Vice President and general manager in charge of Western Europe "Bert Hoyt" is trying to see how Fc Barcelona and Nike can further strengthen the relationship both parties have enjoyed.

Alex "fc Barcelona is not satisfied with the current contract on ground as it doesn't reflect the growing market and importance of Barcelona in the global sports industry and market".

Bert Hoyt-" Mr Alex, Nike was restructuring its board and reinvigorating the whole leadership hence why the lack of communication from the past head of Western Europe, not because we don't value Fc Barcelona but because he couldn't make a concrete decision while leaving office. But Nike would do all in its possible way to boost the lasting relationship and make Barcelona an offer you can't reject in the coming weeks as my team and I are working with all engines running to finish the contract proposal".

After the meeting with Bert Hoyt, Alex went back to restructuring his board and fully employ his working team to have a befitting board for Fc Barcelona, one which would be as resilient in dispatching its duties and changing the downward spiral the club has been on for a very long period of time.

His assistant Ms Mary Rodriguez has compiled the details of all the people he's listed for specific roles in the board and those he's currently reviewing i his office at the club, the board of directors would comprise of people with knowledge on football and economics from around the globe and the sporting structure would be the department where Alex would be most focused on and the first person Alex wanted to poach was Giuseppe Marotta as Vice President in charge of Football Operations, at inter Milan he has has already shown his resilience and his ability to work with low budget and great signings on free transfers from Henrikh Mikitaryan, Hakan chalhanoglu to Marcus Thuram who was banging in goals for inter before Alex's reincarnation.

Another person is Paulo Futre as Vice President in charge of Youth Development and Academies, being a former player and renowned for his understanding of youth development and his ability when it comes to scouting in Europe and Colombia.

Alex further wrote a name in his books which is "Micheal Edwards the renowned young Briton whom is known for his experience in data driven decision making and player recruitment" Alex has his name as the new Director Football strategy and Analytics and Alex believes he'll definitely pounce on the Barca train as it's a bigger challenge to his current job at Liverpool.

Ms Mary compiled the names of the listed directors and had her team send out emails and scheduling meetings with the listed board members of European clubs while Alex was on call with Andre cury a great agent in South America and a friend of Fc Barcelona's as he was once a scout appointed by the club and Alex believe even if Paulo Futre accepts the job he'll love to have Cury in his scouting team of South America.

The day closed with Alex finalizing the details of all the positional structure of his board of directors

President Alex, VP football- Giuseppe Marotta, VP Youth Development- Paulo Futre, VP Community Relations- Casper Stylsvig(Revenue Officer Ac Milan), VP Marketing and Branding- Ferran Reveter(Former CEO under Laporta), VP Financial Mgt- Ferran Soriano(CEO Mancity) though there's pessimism within the office on his chances of accepting the offer, Director Football Strategy- Micheal Edwards, Director Legal- Susana Monje(Fmr board member under laporta), Director Stadium and infrastructure- Alberto Palomar (Sports law consultant), Director international Relations- Edwin Van der sar (fmr ceo of Ajax).

Ms Mary has scheduled the meeting for the whole of the remaining days in the week, as the first is Marotta followed by Van der Sar as he's currently free due to his resignation from Ajax Board. The others are scheduled for the days to follow.
