Rimuru POV:

Alright, now where shall I start? I have no idea what to do myself. Ciel did suggest that I should do what it is I desire. But, I have no idea as to what I truly desire. It is unclear to me.

So perhaps I shall simply rest here?

No.

That wont satisfy me enough.

So what should I truly do here.

I proceeded to grab my head in frustration as I was utterly unable to think of anything satisfying for me to pass the time.

{Master could create his own world in the Imaginary Space.} out of nowhere Ciel had came out and given her own idea.

'Creating life? And other planets? So I am capable of creating other planets in here?'

{Indeed. Master is a transcendent Dragon God that transcends Time and Space and manipulates them at will. Creating universes and planets are easy.} she said so casually. Wow, I guess I really have become a god equal to Veldanava. You know, I sometimes wish he was alive so I can meet him. It would be nice if I could meet him and see if he was a normal dragon. Unlike those three.

I released a sigh as I floated in this void of nothingness while thinking as such.

'Lets see. [Shub-Niggurath] would be able to create such a thing already correct?'

{It is best to use Shub-Niggurath for the creation kf skills and such. With the amount of Turn Null stored up since 2000 years prior, I was capable of making a skill to infinitely generate the Turn Null Energy.}

'Hm. Alright then, thats totally not overpowered for someone like me.'

With Ciels guidance and assistance I began to channel this highly potent and destructive energy that fills my Imaginary Space. It is unable to destroy me if let out of hand but with how chaotic it is, this is something that needs a little more finesse and skill wielding.

In an instant this energy began to radiate around me.

'Ok, what now?' I asked our ever so convenient assistant and friend on what to do now.

{Simply think of what it is you want to create and snap your fingers.}

'Snap my fingers? And it is that easy? Fascinating. Lets give it a try then.'

Taking Ciels advice to heart, I focused my thoughts on what it was I wanted to create. An entire universe. A universe of infinite size filled to the brink with planets, stars and even galaxies. That is what I wish to create. With all of this in my thoughts, before even losing a second I snapped my fingers.

*BOOM!*

A loud boom echoed throughout this void. It sounded quite loud and violent. Violent enough to shake an entire planet or even solar system. But yet, My void did not tremble. With that sound a bright and blinding white light had followed it instantly. Had it been the old me, I would be blind right now. Soon that light died down and in front of me was an orb.

'What is this?' I reached my hand out forward toward this orb, placing my hand directly under it. I had even touched it yet, but whenever I moved my hand, it followed with me. Seemingly the thought of me wanting it to get closer to me had moved it.

{This is the universe you created.}

I could only be shocked by Ciels own words. This was the entire universe I wanted. Its so, spherical and non infinite. It would naturally be hard for one to believe that this is a universe. Its so small.

'That is the universe I wanted?' I questioned. This had to be wrong.

{Indeed. Should we go inside this universe it is exactly as you wanted it. It is infinite in size and contains infinite planets and many stars, solar systems and galaxies. It was made quite well for your first time.} Ciel said with a seemingly happy tone.

'Has any time passed in this universe?' I asked.

{Not yet. As there is no concept of time yet, nothing has begun to move.}

'Then can you do that for me?'

{Already Successful in doing so. With the concept of time taking hold, the time stream has begun to flow. As you know since we exist outside of this universe we are unaffected from their time-stream and such. So far a total of 5 billion years has passed even though to us they have existed for only a few minutes.}

Truly a fascinating phenomenon. With so much time passing thus far, I wonder if they have made any interesting technological advances on these different worlds and galaxies. It will be wonderful and exciting to explore these one day.

{Such a phenomenon has not yet occurred.} Huh? What did she mean by that? If the planets exist and time is flowing, how have they yet to do anything.

'What do you mean?'

{You have created Time,Space and even their entire universe. However, there nothing has been born because those progenitors have yet to be created.}

'Oh. So I do have to create them. I figured that they would be born from nothing. Well then, I guess what race should I create first?'

{I suggest the True Dragons.} My eyes widened at what she had said. It just seemed absurd. The True Dragons themselves were supposedly the pinnacle of perfection and power. Creating them on a whim would be absurd.

'Isn't that far too absurd to be able to do?'

{Not at all. You have access to Velzard, Velgrynd, Veldora, youself and Ivarage (after he evolved) True Dragon Factors. Using those as a base, you could create watered down True Dragons. They won't be as powerful as the ones mentioned but they will be True Dragons regardless.}

'I guess that sounds a little bit better. But creating True Dragons would be quite absurd. I will do that part a little later. So for now, how about demons and angels. If I can create entire universes using Turn Null, then can I create essentially a infinite realm that spans across the Imaginary Space.'

{It is possible. What does master have in mind?}

'I want to create Heaven and Hell. Using the Holy and Demonic attributes I can saturate those realms with their respective attributes and those realms can soak them up. The holy and divine would be at a disadvantage in hell and vice-versa for the demonic.'

{Very Well. I shall use Turn Null to create these realms and saturate them with the Holy and Demonic Attributes.

Beginning Process.

Complete. Now saturating Hell with demonic attribute and heaven with holy attribute.}

That took as long as I thought. Now, creating the demons and angels. Essentially since I can use both holy and demonic and I would be their creator, I would also essentially be their progenitor A.K.A their spirit of light and dark.

Lets start with the souls. By taking inspiration from our beloved primordials. Creating them with a linkage to hell which shall act as the place of their birth and their place of rebirth after their deaths even upon a spiritual and soul level, they will always revive in Hell. The same rule will apply to the Angels of course.

I began to gather both Holy and Demonic essence and began to create my version of the seven demons and angels of origin. With my essence gathered the souls have formed but they lacked their own egos. A total of 14 egoless souls were in front of me.

Lets see, now that I think of it. It would be wrong if I don't at least give you titles. Let start with the demons. Lets see, seven of you and I need seven titles. You will be the demons of Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, Greed, Sloth. I will make my creation similar to what Veldanava made, but of course I will have my differences. The Angels on the other hand will be the Angels of course Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Humility.

Given some time, they will develop their own egos and will become the forefront of all demon and angel kind.

There is a weird amount of excitement to be had at accomplishing such a thing. Being a creator on this scale feels amazing. To be able to create whatever I wish and bring forth life is something incredible. I am now wondering if this is what it felt like for Veldanava to create such worlds and even universes. That dragon created an huge multiverse that has infinite universes, there is no way he didn't feel such levels of excitement and joy at this. Right?

Now is not the time to think about that.

Using my abilities, I then scattered the Egoless Angel souls throughout Heaven and scattered the egoless demon souls throughout hell. Once they develop an ego I will put my focus on them once again.

'Ciel, pause the time stream within heaven and hell. I dont want them to develop without the laws of things such as magic in place. Also can you keep tabs on those souls until they form their own ego and notify me when they do.'

{Very well Rimuru-sama.}

Alright. Now what can I do. I would go ahead and create the other races for these other worlds. But, I want a world that will act as a base of operations for me. Actually, I guess there would be no need to. Essentially all of this would exist within me, so there is no need for a space to actually watch over all of it as well since Ciel will also know all that transpired in those universes.

Next I must create the system of power. It would lack any purpose if their was no fun system like this. So the fundamental laws of magic and skills of the cardinal world shall be applied here.

{I can act as your version of the VOTW. I am capable of bestowing skills upon those whose desire is great enough.}

'Thats a great idea. Thank you for taking up this role. Have you applied the laws of magic and skills to this world?'

{Of course. All that needs to be done is the creation of skills.}

'Hm. That can be accomplished later. I would like to take some time to figure out what to do for the unique and ultimate skills that the angels and demons will acquire. So I think I will go rest until the festival.'

{Understood master.} Ciel had said that with some shred of happiness in her voice. It was not unusual but I wonder why she sounded so happy about that.

'By the way, before we depart can you reset that Universe? Since there is no life in it yet, then I don't mind resetting that single universe to before any planets.'

{Understood. That Universe has been reset to before its point of origin.}

"Great." I had uttered before exiting my Imaginary Space. The place I had re-entered was my own throne room once again. The exact same place I had originally left from. I slouched back in my chair quite mentally exhausted myself.

'Veldanava is amazing if he was not mentally taxed after doing something on such a scale. Its awe-inspiring.' I thought to myself as I leaned back and gazed upward to the ceiling.

{You have done a wonderful job thus far my lord.}Where did that come from? I genuinely have no idea. But, I am glad she said that. After everything that has happened these past two-thousand years. I needed a break and something actually entertaining to do.

Hm. I guess I could also simply check up on everyone else. But that would require some form of movement, so... no.

I wish to relax either in my bed or on my throne. Speaking of which, that parallel existence of mine is still working isn't he.

No, it appears he has finished it all. Now knowing this I freed my poor duplicate of his suffering to a desk job by canceling out his existence. Poor me. I slouched back even further in my chair. My position to the point had looked quite uncomfortable, though with the flexible and non feeling body of a slime, I truly felt nothing. But even then, this was not a satisfying position to be in.

With that in mind and not wanting to stick around like this any longer, I opened my own portal and teleported back to my room. I had teleported directly above my bed causing me to slam right on it face first.

"Ah. Such bliss." I subconsciously muttered. It was such a relaxing, stress-relieving feeling. I had finally felt at ease after a long time. But one thing has yet to leave my mind. For the first time since those 100 years, I was actually excited for my next fight.

'Hm, I guess all those battle maniacs have finally converted me.' The thought plagued my mind. Hopefully I don't turn out like a certain pink haired loli.

'Yeah. I'll sleep till its time. Ciel, wake me up the day of the festival.'

{Understood.}

Hearing her accept my terms, I slowly allowed myself to drift off into my first relaxing sleep in 2000 years.
