As David materialized back into his room he chuckled, standing up with his main body he could feel various groups of God s arriving in his realm, they were all on best behavior as this was the chance to be on good terms with a new pantheon.
David could sense 19 groups so far, only about 5 more and then a representative from the sorcerers if he had guessed right, he was hoping it might be Yao since he actually liked the old man allot.
'Steph, Diana, Fox, Hela, Raven. Could you meet in the office please, urm, someone help Raven with the portal if she needs it. Also, Fox, if you can contact your lover, I'd like him in this as well.' David never waited for a reply as he shifted his body to his office. It was like the last one, just allot larger with more chairs and sofas to accommodate various shapes and sizes, yet all in white.
The ladies came into the room together while all chatting about God s that had arrived, or more likely what they were wearing, last was Hela who seemed to engage in light conversation with Angela. Luckily, the Angels were fine with roles other than guard, and the males, who were normally wingless and kept apart, were really good at everyday tasks and happy to be out and mingling.
"Fox is Logan (it had happened earlier in this timeline, David assumed he was the cause. James is Logan after he was experimented on and given an adamantium skeleton) on his way // As he was looking at Fox David began to grin mid-sentence.// I see you managed to get close again, congratulation Fox."
Fox looked slightly confused and embarrassed as she looked to the other ladies for help. Hela laughed as she stepped forward and shoulder hugged Fox, "Congratulations my dear, I might not be as quick as the Father God over there, but he is right. "
Fox's face went beat red as she broke out in a big smile, it had taken her years after she found Logan to make him remember her, remember them. David had said things would be fine and to give Logan time, but she always felt a little annoyed as she knew David was able to heal him instantly.
As if it was timed a knock came as the door opened and in walked a rather neatly dressed Logan, cigar in mouth and default unimpressed look on his face, "Yo, Foxy said you wanted to chat?"
As Logan stopped talking, he stopped looking at David and noticed Fox and the ladies were looking at him strangely, Fox then moved towards him, "Uh, Nah I did not do what you think I did Foxy! Someone's lying!" Logan's next words were cut off as Fox leaped at him and locked lips tightly. Logan's expression was priceless, total confusion but not giving up free lovin from his lady.
When Fox finally came up for breath she stared into Logan's eyes, "You going to need to get what you can before it's too far along, Daddy."
For a moment Logan paused, then the impossible happened as his lips actually broke into a smile, "You serious Foxy? I'm gonna be a Dad?"
Fox nodded a lot as Logan looked about the room, David nodded, as did Hela, David had never actually realized that Logan wanted to be a dad, in his normal history most his children were tracked down by Romulus and turned against him before he even knew he was a dad.
"Urm, I am sorry to do this, but we need to do some things before the meeting. You should have enough time to enjoy the feeling as they are still only a week old."
Everyone moved to sit as Hela patted the sofa next to her for Angela to sit, the Angel looked about the room, seeing everyone nod she reluctantly sat. She was starting to get worried Hela liked her and was not sure how to let it be known she had someone.
"Okay, next. //David took a breath and reminded himself, it is like a plaster, just rip// Angela, you are not a wingless Angel. You are the sister of Hela Odinson, Thor Odinson, and Loki Odinson. You are also daughter to Odin Borson, All-Father of Asgard, and Frigga. You were believed killed by the Queen of Angels. I am dumping this all on you as once your Father sees you, he will feel the connection." David felt bad doing it this way, but he needed to tell her before Odin had a chance to get to her.
As he spoke Hela reached her hands over to hold Angela's who was just numbly staring at David, she slowly turned her head to Hela who nodded and whispered, "I only just found out as well." David was fine with the white lie and was happy to direct any anger she had towards him, he needed her and Hela close.
Tears gently ran down Angela's cheeks, she had been mocked and bullied for being wingless, for her mother abandoning her (Author: Marvel actually never tells us what happened to the handmaiden who saved her from death, just that she left her) she had to fight harder than anyone else to get recognition and eventually, her own Hunt (Group that she leads).
"You are very welcome to stay here and not enter the meeting since you are my follower as per the oath, I do not want you upset."
Angela looks confused for a moment until it dawned on her, David had said "I accept all the Angels, in the name or otherwise", "You knew then?"
"I have known for a long time but had no way to free you. Your sister searched all the realms of the dead to find you without luck, I could not watch someone I care for suffering like that. That is part of the reason we freed Heven." Hela played her part and reassuringly squeezed Angela's hands as David spoke.
"I know you have questions about your family. After Hela answers a question for me, I am sure she can explain it much better than I can. //David said, closing his part off and hoping Hela could do the rest// Hela, have you decided?"
Hela nodded, "Yes, I have chosen to be your Goddess and Death, and Love." Hela grinned slightly as she spoke, she knew none of the ladies had this in mind and had always felt Love and death to be closely tied, and if so her powers would flow together seamlessly and make her a lot more powerful.
"Agreed, although you already knew I would," David smirked and nodded letting her know she was fine to have the chat her sister needed.
Raven looked around and then raised a hand, "I feel like I am the only one let out here, who is a God now?"
Everyone burst out in good-hearted laughter as the woman made their choices.
Steph chose to be the Mother of God s, something that stung a bit for David, now that he had the power, he would need to make that woman happy.
Fox chose to be the Goddess for the Forest and plains, she was offered nature as a whole but refused to say she had her reasons, something David was only a little surprised by, but it made sense on a level.
Logan was offered the God of the Hunt, and after a long argument Fox told him he needed to think of the future and their family, he eventually gave in.
Raven asked to be a Goddess that was connected to the mutants so she could help them, David made her the Goddess of Change, this way she would have some of David's previous power to evolve mutants further. He chose Change as he did not want to limit her and hoped that with time, she might view her domain as all change.
Diana chose not to accept David's offer as she was the daughter of Zeus, and David was already picking a fight with Odin, and she actually had a good relationship with her family, well accept Ares, he was just a jerk.
Sorry if my editing sucks on this one, I got a cold and felt sorry for myself so only read it over once.
