Chapter 46- Black Bulls

Yuta Kageyama POV

"Number 680 come forward." Hearing my number, I walked forward, as I looked at all the captains, their eyes were on me too.

After few seconds, I could see all of the captains hands up.

"What!? All hands up?"

"Meh, I mean he has a four leaf grimoire."

"He's a chosen one too huh?"

"Lucky bastard." 

"So which squad will you join?" William asked with a smile as everyone started muttering.

"He'll probably join golden dawn."

"I mean even captain william has his hands up!"

"I would like to join the black bulls!" I said with a smile.

"Puh~ guess the mask bas- wait what did you just say!?" Yami and the other captains, also examiners looked at me shocked and surprised.

"I would like to join your squad." I said to him with a smile.

"Hahahaha! Will you look that I got a four leaf grimoire kid in my squad too now! In your face William." Yami said with a smile as he laughed pointing at William who sighed as he smiled.

"Guess there's no choice, I really wanted him in my squad." I would actually join your squad but a wild lifestyle with absolutely freedom is what I like.

"I'll see you later kid, now shoo shoo!" He said as I deadpanned and walked back. 

"With that the magic knight selection for this year is over! Those who didn't make it, you did your best! Try harder next time!" William said with a smile as those who didn't make cried while those who made it were relieved.

Soon I started walking out of the coliseum, as I met up with Yami. 

"Yo captain." I said showing a peace sign.

"Oi, brat. What's your name?" He asked as he puffed his cigarette.

"Yuta, Yuta Kageyama." I said to him as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Where are you from?" He asked.

"Uh, clover kingdom?" I asked with a deadpan look as he held my head.

"Oi brat what's with that look." He said as held my head tightly.

"Let go you brute gorilla." I said to him as veins popped out his neck, as he started to grip my head harder.

"Yami Captain, stop it or you'll kill the new guy!" Asta shouted towards us as Yami instantly grabbed his head.

"You telling me what to do huh brat!?" Yami said releasing his aura as he gripped asta's head tightly who dangling around.

"Ah! Sorry Captain!" 

"Tch, anyway introduce yourself to your junior." Yami said as Asta smiled looking at me with sparkly eyes.

"Yo! I'm your senior! You can call me Asta!" He said as I nodded with a smile.

"Yes, Asta-senpai!" 

"Uwah! Finally I can also be called senpai!" Asta said with a smile before we heard a cough.

"Ahem."

"Oh this is Noelle, she is royalty and at the back is finral-senpai." He said introducing the other two who had come right now.

Noelle looked at me with an observing gaze as finral smiled at me.

"Whatever we're going back to the base. You can talk there as much as you like." Yami said before looking at finral who nodded and opened a portal.

As they walked in, I followed behind them and there we were, we stood in front of a large, tall house with asymmetric structures. The house consists of multiple stories with most of them made of stone and brick.

"Kid, welcome to the worst squad of the entire magic knights history." Yami said with a smile as he puffed his cigarette.

I mean you're the second best squad in the entire kingdom but you still call yourselves the worst? Ha~ doesn't sound bad.

"Let's go in now." Finral said as we all walked inside the house, it was a mess.

A pink haired girl in her undergarments was drinking, a guy who was looking at a picture which seemed to be of a little girl as he bleed, a blue haired who was covering her face feeling shy, a small girl eating lots of food, two guys fighting around, while a red haired guy seemed to be having fun letting out stinky bugs, a scary guy who's mumbling by himself and a long haired guy that seemed to be trapped inside a window.

Yup, the same black bulls I know from the anime, suddenly a anti bird flew down as it nestled on asta's head.

"You guys stop breaking the base!" Yami shouted as he literally broke the wall behind us, with his shouting everyone stopped as they came towards.

"Captain, wanna drink with me~?" Vanessa asked with red face due to alcohol as she hiccuped.

"Yami-san! Did we get a new recruit?" Magna came with a smile as before he looked at me with a scary expression but I just smiled.

"Yeah, introduce yourself." He said looking at me as I nodded.

"The names Yuta Kageyama! Nice to meet you guys!" I said before politely bowing.

"Oh my~ he got manners. Ain't you a cute one?" Vanessa said as she held my chin, before luck pushed and came at me with a excited face.

"Hey, hey, hey. You look strong! Wanna fight till death?" He asked with a innocent smile as I sweat dropped, first time seeing someone say a horrible shit while smiling.

"Well I wouldn't wanna kill my senior would I now." I said while chuckling as he laughed.

"Hey, Magna are you going to do your acceptance test or something?" Luck asked as Magna nodded his head.

"Of course! Yami-san might have accepted you but we don't!" He said as everyone just looked as I deadpanned.

I think that 'we' is only you Magna.

"Wait a second. Yami is the Captain of this squad right?" I asked them as they all nodded.

"That means your opinion doesn't matter except Yami captain's right?" I asked again with a smile as they all nodded.

"Well doesn't that mean that you're just going against your captains order?" I asked with a smirk as Magna looked.

"Geh! Y-you're right! Sorry for going against you Yami-san." Magna said as he bowed at Yami who sweated.

'This kid…'

"Well can I have my robe Magna-senpai?" I asked as he gave me my robe.

"Hehehe! Welcome to the worst squad of all magic knights!" Magna said as I nodded.

"By the way, what's your magic?" Luck asked as he looked at me.

"Yuta's magic is ice magic." Asta said with stars, as they all looked at me nodding.

"That's besides point, this guy he wields the four leaf grimoire!" Noelle said as she pointed at my grimoire.

"What!?" Those who didn't know shouted as they gathered around me.

"You really have a four leaf grimoire!?"

"Damn that's impressive boy~"

"Come fight me!"

"Marie~!"

"Wait but something doesn't make sense. Yuta you could've gone to golden dawn but why choose black bulls?" Asta asked as everyone looked at me.

"Oh it's just that I love black bulls." I said with a smile, kidding I'm just here so I can follow the plot after all I don't what's next after Yami is taken away.

"You love our squad!?" Magna asked as he was red a bit.

"Yes."

"O-Oi didn't think we'd have some that likes us, right Asta? Hahahahahaha." Magna laughed as Asta followed with his laugh.

"Ha~ anyway show the kid he's room, I'm gone to have a battle." Yami said as he walked away from us to what seemed to be the way to the toilet.

"Anyway come along Yuta I'll show you your room." Asta said as he took me to a empty room, it was big.

"Thank you Asta-senpai." I said to him as he comedically cried again with stars in his eyes.

"Your welcome my junior! We'll have a good sleep, see you tomorrow!" He said loudly as I nodded and closed the door.

"Huff~ well not a bad start in this world." I said to myself before I cleaned the room and took a good night sleep.
