Chapter 45- Magic Knight

Yuta POV

It's been a day since I have arrived in clover kingdom? Why did I come here? Because Fcking plot revolves around the main character.

I could have enjoyed and live a peaceful life and treat this world as a vacation but I'm sure that old man's gonna give me a quest that'll make me join the plot.

Well either way, I plan to do things on my way. It's gonna be a waste if I don't use the abilities I have after all~

Well first off, joining the magic knights might be a big benefit for me, specifically joining the black bulls to know where the plot is heading.

Since as far as I remember the only thing I remember from black clover is the 170 episodes of the anime other than that nothing, I didn't continue reading from the manga since I was too lazy. Which might be bad for me but at the same time not.

So yeah? Right now the clover kingdom is in reconstruction after the reincarnated elves did a good amount of damage to the kingdom from what I heard but during those period of times some things could've have happened, in the anime a lot of filler shit had happened before the captains chooses people who'll go to heart kingdom for training.

I guess I'm pretty late on building up some relationship with the squad I would possibly join but it doesn't matter to me, as long as I complete the quest and move onto the next world.

Which tells me my time in black clover will be quite a short one, possibly.

Royal Capital, Clover Kingdom

Currently in the kingdom, the magic knights were up against each other with the first team being Jack the Ripper, Yami Sukehiro, Nozel Silva and Kaiser Granvorka and the second team being Dorothy Unsworth, William Vangeance, Charlotte Roselei and Fuegoleon Vermillion as all 8 of them being magic knight captains for their respective though one captain was missing in this occasion.

The fight was broadcast across the clover kingdom as Yuta who had reached in the capital is watching in tavern with a lot of people cheering on the captains.

"Damn, didn't think they really loved their magic knights." Yuta muttered as he drank a cup of juice.

He had come to the capital, as tomorrow was the magic knight selections, so it would be important to join the black bulls as he had plans in this world.

As battle came to end, no one won as Yami had dimension slashed both teams crystal ending up in a draw.

Looking out the window from the tavern, Yuta noticed it started turning dark. He had planned to go to a Grimoire tower somewhere near in the capital to get his Grimoire.

He too wanted to know what kind of Grimoire he would have if he was in this world. So he decided to find it out himself.

As night falls, Yuta had walked to the only Grimoire tower in the capital. It was the same Grimoire tower like shown in the anime as he entered, he was met with Grimoire that were everywhere in large shelves.

Standing at a podium, he raised his hands up exerting his mana. As suddenly Grimoire book floated down below, coming right towards Yuta as he held the book.

He looked at the cover as it had four leafs of clover, the book was blue in colour as Yuta raised an eyebrow, he opened his hands as ice formed around his palm as he had an surprised expression.

"Ice Magic? Damn hehe this is quite interesting." Yuta said with a smile as he closed the Grimoire as he walked out of the tower before going to an inn to rest in.

'Might as well sleep, tomorrow's gonna be fun.'

It was morning, as young people walked inside the coliseum one by one, even Yuta but few characters were here today as well some being Asta, Noelle, Secre, Finral and the magic knight captains.

Yuta Kageyama POV

I was inside the arena, as I could some nobles looking at me with distant in their eyes. Jealousy is a hard thing everywhere.

People were surprised when they saw a four leaf grimoire on my hand, hehe. Finally the captains has come.

"Hello Everyone! I am William Vangeance, the captain of Golden Dawn! Thank you for coming here today, all I can say is do your best! Even if you fail today, your journey isn't over! You can retake the exams again and again as many times as you desire! Now with this let's begin magic knight exams!" He said before using his magic as everyone had broomsticks, I got up on my feet as I floated up lightly as everyone looked at me.

"Damn! He makes it loook easy." I could see everyone's eyes on me as I chuckled, I looked at the side as I saw Asta and beside him Noelle looking at me. They should soon go to heart kingdom, well whatever.

The exams continued with tests like blasting magic power at a wall which I destroyed it, shooting at a moving target, creating something with magic I created a giant ice woman, and pouring magic power into a seed to let it grow.

"So far you all have performed well, now this will be the final test!" William said as everyone was nervous while I had a deadpan look.

"You'll be competing with each other! This will be a combat test. You guys can choose your partner to fight each other." William said as everyone started finding partners, I was at the side. Should I approach someone?

"Oi, you the guy with the four leaf Grimoire. You think you're the hot shit because you have that Grimoire? In the end it's just a book! I'll show you how strong I am." A guy with blond hair with a smile walked towards me, he screams arrogance as I smirked.

"So you wanna fight me? Well guess that makes it easy." I said as he gritted his teeth.

"What's with you acting cool!? I'll show you your place, you peasant." He said with anger as I scratched the back of my head.

"What a troublesome guy. Didn't hit your puberty or what~? You sound like a child and look like a child. How about drinking some Milkies from ya momma's tiddies?" I asked him with a smirk as veins popped out of his neck.

"You insolent peasant, get in the middle let's do this right now!" He said walking into the middle as I chuckled and followed.

The referee looked at both of before nodding as he swinged his hand down.

"Begin!"

Uttering those words, the noble created a tonardo out of wind as it came towards me.

"Hah! Take this!" He said as I swiped my hand away making the wind dispersed as he looked shocked.

"H-heh, too bad for you I cancelled that spell." He said as I laughed.

"Man, you say pretty dumb shit for a noble." I said to him as he showed an angered look, before he could attack I in front of him.

"Man~ you should try harder." I kicked him at the head sending him flying away, as I quickly ran at him in a fast speed and froze his entire body, I then held an ice sword at his neck.

"Ugh…."

"Do you yield?" I asked with a smile as he looked at me with fear.

"Yes, I yield." He said as I unfroze the ice.

"Damn! Did you see that speed?"

"Amazing! He did it in a quick seconds! Did you see that Noelle!?"

"Damn! I'm glad that I didn't fight him."

"But look at the noble, he spoke a lot only to end up losing."

"Hahaha, talk about a loser."

Whispers around people, as the noble earlier looked down red in anger as he looked at my direction before walking away.

"Winner, Number 680!" He said as I walked to the crowd as the battles continued until it finally ended.

"Since the battle is over we will now be calling over numbers, when you hear your number, you'll see the squad that would want to pick you! If you have multiple hands up then you can choose one, if you only have one then you join that squad! Is that understood?" The assistant in the arena said as we all nodded.

Soon numbers were called.

"Number 10, Accepted to Coral Peacocks!"

"Number 25, Rejected."

"Number 69, Accepted to Green Mantis!"

"Number 130, Rejected."

"Number 245, Accepted to Blue Rose."

"Number 295, Rejected."

"Number 365, Accepted to Aqua Deer."

"Number 400, Rejected."

"Number 480, Accepted to Purple Orca."

"Number 510, Accepted to Crimson Lion."

"Number 550, Rejected."

"Number 600, Accepted to Green Mantis."

"Number 680 come forward." Hearing my number, I walked forward, as I looked at all the captains, their eyes were on me too.
