Chapter 58: The War 4

Alex engaged with the traitor as he wanted to kill him with his own hands. While Robin engaged with The King.

And, the main battle started….

The first one to attack was Alex as he charged toward the traitor using his discharged form.

(AN: What's the discharge form?

It's a form wherein the user uses the elemental affinity he/she has in full power. Due to it, there will be a layer of the element he/she uses around them.

This is only possible if they possess a high affinity to any element and are strong to make their mana go rampage.)

On the other side, Robin was watching the king with cautious eyes. He wasn't sure if the king knew about their traitor.

So, he asked the king.

"Do you know that the person you are protecting now is a traitor to our kingdom?"

The king was surprised to hear it. He said to rectify the misunderstanding.

"I didn't know about that. I came to war because he said that your kingdom has decided to wage a war against us to occupy our land."

Robin declined the claim that their kingdom would occupy the land of another kingdom.

Now, the king of Malene's kingdom understood that he had been misled by the traitor and was furious at him because due to him, so many casualties has come.

Seeing his look of him, Robin understood that he was angry at him and was also sad at the loss of soldiers. So, he shouted.

"Stop attacking the enemy soldiers!"

The soldiers looked at him weirdly thinking why he asked to stop the war but agreed nonetheless.

Even Alex looked at him weirdly but couldn't ask him as he was in an all-out war against the traitor.

The fight between Alex and the other one continued for hours. 

Robin and the King were watching the fight from the side as neither of them wanted to take part in the fight.

Robin briefed the situation to the soldiers and so, they helped their enemy soldiers to heal their wounds with magic.

Alex was on the winning end but a change happened that caught him off guard.

Suddenly, a shadow came from behind him and pushed a dagger into Alex's heart. As he was fully concentrated on the fight, he couldn't react to it and ended up getting wounded.

Robin suddenly appeared behind the shadow who attacked Alex and directly chopped his head. Then he used a healing spell on Alex to close his wound.

As Alex was brought back to their former glory, he used his strongest attack, a Breakneck bolt, and killed the traitor.

He couldn't use the move before as it cost all his mana and he will end up getting unconscious.

As expected, Alex fell unconscious after he used the move.

After a second, a spy came near Robin and whispered to his ears that the job has been completed.

What was the job?

The job was to kill all the remaining members of the noble house. He sent the spy and made peace with the Marlene king and asked his permission.

They both left the war zone and peace was established between the two kingdoms.

After reaching the castle, Robin handed all the royal power to Alex and his family.

Robin then laid low away from the public. With him, the Greylash family was laying low.
