Chapter 57: The War 3

The noble house had sided with the Malene Kingdom…
The war was on the sight...
Alex decided that he should fight the war and win at all costs. He wanted to punish the novel house.
He wanted to do so not because he always wanted to be a King but because he couldn't keep the promise he gave to his friend, Robin.
The promise of Secrecy. Promise that no one will know that Greylash is the real royal except the nobles who already knew.
Alex gathered all his army and then went to Greylash Mansion to ask permission from Robin.
When he saw Robin, he was already in the battle suit. Robin was ready to take part in the war with his soldiers.
Alex tried to discourage him from taking part in the war but Robin insisted and made Alex take him also for war.
A large number of soldiers stretching as far as the eyes could see were looking like the 'sea'. There were millions of them. In front of the soldiers were two people levitating in the air with their mana.
One was Alex with his silver battle suit and the other was Robin with his black battle suit.
Behind them were their respective sons and daughters, and also their relatives and friends who accepted to join the war.
Everyone had a serious expression on their face. They were waiting at the border that separated their kingdom from Malene Kingdom.
After waiting for a few minutes, they saw a large number of people coming their way. It was the army of their enemy kingdom.
Malene Kingdom's army was led by their King. Just near him was the traitor of Astria.
(AN: Astria is the kingdom of our MC-Greylash Family.)
There was pity in the face of the traitor which caused the anger to shoot up in Alex. But before he took any harsh decision mindlessly, Robin held him to cool him down and told him to think rationally.
Alex was finally calmed and with hate visible in his eyes, he shouted to start the war.
After declaring the war, he and Robin moved forward killing the enemy forces.
They didn't want to kill innocent people. But the situation made them do so.
(AN: There's a famous saying.
It's the situations that shape the person or make them do things.)
They continued to kill the soldiers.
If hundred rounded or cornered them, Alex used Sonic Boom while Robin would use Sheer Cold.
The sonic boom was a skill that created strong sonic waves and caused heavy damage to their enemy even ignoring the armor as it may cause internal injury.
While Sheer Cold would manipulate the mana around the enemy making the temperature drop suddenly. This move is hard to control but when done, it will freeze the blood of the enemy and other internal organs. This causes them to die most painfully.
Both Alex and Robin cut through the enemy lines and at last, reached the center. There they found the traitor and the king of the Malene Kingdom.
Alex engaged with the traitor as he wanted to kill him with his own hands. While Robin engaged with The King.
And, the main battle started….
