The Last Piece.

( Miu's POV )

Tooru: That guy with weird eyes is not with you, all my men tell me they haven't seen him in a while, where is he?

Miu: that's none of your business.

Tooru: You know we don't have to fight, with my army of Megalos together we could-

When Tooru tried to give a monologue I shot another wind blade to shut him up, and I really enjoyed seeing the infuriating expression he made.

Miu: You are pathetic, you cower in a weak world and fill it with monsters you can control and you think you are a big deal.

Miu: We would never side with someone like you.

I didn't want to hear anything he had to say so I ran towards him with murderous intent, the two bear-type Megalos tried to attack me but Uzume and Miyabi intercepted them, Uzume hit one of them high and Miyabi used her halberd to send the other flying, being defenseless in the air Emilia and Julie took the opportunity to attack, The two depended on their speed to attack so Yuuki enchanted her weapons with null magic [Accel], the two moved so fast that they cut the Megalos into a bunch of pieces in seconds.

Tooru, seeing his Megalos being finished off in seconds, immediately activated his kakuja armor, he doubled in height and created a huge tower shield in front of him, He had a long tail that he used to attack from behind his shield, and that tail was faster than I expected but I didn't waver, I threw my katanas in the air and caught his tail with my bare hands, with all my strength I lifted him up and threw him against the wall, His armor remained intact but then Miyabi threw her halberd at Tooru and she was able to cut off his tail.

When he lost his primary method of attack, I jumped to catch my katanas in the air, I kicked the air with a burst of air and aimed at the eyes of Tooru's armor, My attack hit but my katanas were barely able to crack his armor.

Tooru tried to swat me away but I jumped back to dodge, when I landed the girls tried to support me but I stopped them with a signal, I wanted to finish this guy myself and after a few seconds, they nodded and took a step back.

Miu: thank you girls, I owe you one.

I surrounded my body with wind combined with [Accel] to increase my speed and also used [Boost] x30, when I gathered my power I dashed towards Tooru and used a powerful thrust, The only thing Tooru had going for him was his defense and he put up his massive tower shield to block my attack but that wasn't enough to stop me now, I passed through his shield but my katana got stuck, I immediately let go and then I hit the handle of the katana to send it all the way through his body, I nailed him to the wall but I didn't stop there, I impaled my second Katana on his shoulder and then I aimed my last katana at his head.

Tooru: N-no! Please wait.

Near his end, Tooru tried to beg for his life but I didn't listen, my katana pierced his armor but at that moment his body was shot out of the armor, He was wounded but he was able to run to a hidden door and he made his escape.

We tried to follow him but at that moment the place was filled with Megalos, these were nothing for us but we lost a few precious seconds.

We took the same hidden door and ran down a long corridor inclined slightly towards the surface, We ran for a few seconds but stopped when we came across a large pool of blood, and in the middle of that were the corpses of a tiger-type Megalo and Tooru with a hole in his chest, standing on top of them was Mitsuki with her hand full of blood and holding a shiny marble, she must have found the back entrance.

Mitsuki: what happened girls? You guys almost let him get away.

Miu: I had it under control, thank you very much.

I took the barrier bracelet from the corpse and then we returned to the surface of the island where Kuno and the others had already killed all the Megalos.

When we returned to the camp we put all our things on the flying ship but before leaving I went to the old man Ogata's restaurant because I wanted to bring something to Yuuki. and when I entered the place I saw Rei there and for some reason she ran towards me and grabbed me by the shoulders.

Rei: hey, is it true that you guys are going to leave the camp?

Miu: Well yes, we are going to accompany Yuuki, and who told you about that?

Rei: My mother, she told me the truth about Yuuki's "special mission", how come no one told me anything before?

Miu: Oh well, I guess I sort of forgot about you.

Rei: that's super rude!

Miu: ok relax, what do you want me to do?

Rei: If Yuuki is not coming back then I will go with you this time.

Rizu: Yuuki isn't coming back?

Rei was screaming so loudly that Rizu heard what she said and I could hear some sadness in Rizu's voice, Ever since Yuuki went to the other world, Rizu has been asking about him and even though it's not like Yuuki would never return to this world, He will be away for a while and I can't leave Rizu like this.

I guess I'll have to take Rizu with us, I'm sure Yuuki wouldn't mind.

Kirisu: Why are you girls making a fuss?

The next person to enter the restaurant was Professor Kirisu and we told her what we were talking about, At the end of that I returned to the flying ship, sure I was taking more people with me than planned, but I'm sure that's fine too.

We had to make some preparations so we postponed our trip for a day, but we made sure to inform Yuuki that we had accomplished our goal.
