Island Raid.

( Miu's POV )

Yuuki: I feel like you guys are taking all the fun from me lately.

Miu: you just focus on recovering.

Yuuki: I'm better now, back to one hundred percent!

Miu: you sure? That's not what the girls told me.

Yuuki: ok I understand, but the next one we find will be mine.

Miu: OK.

I gave Yuuki the rest of my report but there wasn't much to say, things were pretty stable and calm on this side, We still had to worry about the Megalos but they weren't a constant threat, things had settled into a new normal.

After finishing my call with Yuuki I talked to the rest of the girls, Our attack plan on the enemy island was already complete so while we were waiting for the new frame gears we prepared to move to the other world, Things were good here so when we take care of our objective we all go to accompany Yuuki, Ruby wanted to continue training with Yuuki and Tsukiumi so she would be coming with us.

Additionally, Yuuki sent us a frame gear piloting simulator, called a frame unit, so that we would be ready when the frame gears arrived.

A few days later the frame gears arrived along with a large flying transport ship, we didn't waste any time and started our raid immediately.

We were in the cockpit and after a while flying when the enemy island was in sight a horde of flying Megalos came out of the Island and flew directly at us.

Miu: what a warm welcome.

Saya: does this thing have weapons?

Miu: no, it's just a cargo ship, but it does have a good shield, let's go to the frame gears, Ayaka, you stay here.

Ayaka: be careful out there~

We all boarded our frame gears and the long side doors of the ship opened for us.

Kuno: [All right, Archer and Caster move on top of the ship and clear the sky as much as you can.]

Archer was a type of frame gear with many long-range weapons, Kuno, Joyce, and Stella used this type.

Caster frame gears, increased the power of Sekirei's abilities and magical attacks, Saya, Chiho, and Saya-chi, were using this type.

They flew out of the ship first and to start Saya created a huge fireball that exploded a lot of enemies, The Megalos were flying very close to each other so the girls had no problem shooting most of them down, then the rest of us jumped out of the ship, We flew directly to the island while Kuno, and the rest of the girls covered us.

The next wave of megalos were whales that came out of the sea and flew towards us while gathering a large amount of energy in their mouths.

Miu: [I'll take care of this, follow my lead.]

I blew up one of the whales and I buried one of my swords in its head, then I kicked my thrusters at maximum power and I cut the whale from head to tail covering my frame gear with blood, The girls did the same as me and we were able to finish off the whales before they could use their devastating attack.

The third wave started immediately, fish-type Megalos came out of the sea, these were easy to dispatch but no matter how many we cut, more kept appearing, they were endless.

Kuno: [ Move to the island, we will take care of the enemy.]

[ Understood ]

Arrow drones came out of the cargo ship and began shooting at the endless Megalos, The rest of us jumped off our coppits and landed on the edges of the Island and Kuno immediately took remote control of our frame gears.

Before coming we had decided to divide into four groups to invade the island and along with me were Julie, Miyabi, Emilia, and Uzume, On the island we found more Megalos and some human allies of Tooru but this was not the first time we dealt with them, I cut down everyone who got in my way without a second tough.

We made our way through the island until we found the entrance to a bunker, we forced the door open and we found an elevator, I cut the cables that held it and let it fall to the bottom of the elevator shaft.

Emilia: why did you do that?

Miu: this is the fast way, the boss is always on the last floor.

Uzume: well that's kind of true.

We jumped straight to the deepest level and arrived at a long corridor, When we walked around we pass by some luxurious rooms, it seems that this was one of those places that the rich reserved in case of some catastrophe, It seems that that didn't do them much good this time.

At the end of the hallway, there was a reinforced door and it was obvious that our objective was on the other side of that door, I took my katana and gathered my power to cut it with a single swing.

Miu: Be ready, let's do this quickly, and don't let our target escape.

With a powerful swing and a strong gust of air, I completely blew the door open, on the other side was a long circular room, Tooru was standing there as if he were the final boss, I fired a wind slash with my katana but a pyramid-shaped barrier formed around him, he had one of the old type barrier bracelets.

Miu: That's the property of our family, I'm going to take it back.

I lunged towards Tooru, ready to cut off his head but two bear-type Megalos came out from behind him and I had to dodge, they were as big as Sif and these were some of those super-modified Megalos that we faced at the airport, but I could feel that these were on a different level.

Tooru seemed quite confident with the power of his Megalos and when his gaze fell on Miyabi he put on a creepy smile but he composed himself quickly and tried to put on a friendly expression.

Tooru: hey, what happened to the nosy guy with the weird eyes, he didn't come with you.

Weird eyes? Is he talking about Yuuki?
