Chapter 4

Alex and Kimberly climbed out of the river and moved towards their clothes. Without drying themselves off they just put on their clothes and Alex was having a hard time looking away from Kimberly,unfortunatly for him Kimberly did notice she was also having the same issues.

Bu Alex steeled his heart and looked away saying"I think that it is Billy who is in the mines looking for gold,"

Alex added, "If it is really him, we must get him out of there quickly because I am sure someone would surely report the explosion to the police."

Kimberly agreed with him and the two were soon on the move after that she quickly put her shirt which covered herself. Both of them were then running through the trees and running until they arrived at the edge of the forest. As she saw both Billy and Jason said "It's really them ... Billy and the idiot former star football player."

Alex sighed and thought"Billy must have come here for his father was once director of this gold mine and was a well-respected man. However, the gold that came from the mines started to dry out and Mr. Cranston was forced to put a halt to his job. Since as his son Billy trying to prove to his father that there is still gold in the mines.He had Mr.Craston had died to mining accident."

Alex saw both seemed knocked out, Alex sighed and woke up Billy who was really dazed after being thrown by the blast.Alex deadpanned at Billy and said"Billy, did I not tell you to stop blowing stuff up."

Billy muttered, "I just wanted to dig a deeper and prove that there is real gold inside like my dad thought."Alex sighed and patted him consoling him,suddenly a kid wearing black ran pointing his finger at Billy spoke up"I have seen him up here before. Dude, you cannot be walking around blowing stuff up!"

Alex calmed Zack down and said, "He understands that now."the guy's name was Zack calmed down as Billy shouted, "I always dug in this area, I was just trying to dig a little deeper! Maybe I dug too deep, huh?"

Alex sighed and said"Billy, you don't have to yell. We can hear you, okay?"Billy nodded as but he went to knock out Jason, he shook the boy,as Jason groaned quietly reached his ears.Alex with chuckle and said"You almost got yourself killed."

Jason's eyes snapped open at the voice of a stranger yet somewhere it sounds a little bit familiar to him.Jason recognized it,as quickly slapped Alex's hand away and with a growl yelled: "Stop shaking me you asshole!"

Jason then started crawling back to his feet and attempted to get up but stumbled back and landed on his ass.Jason then noticed everyone as he saw Kimberly was next to Alex. This caused his jealousy to rear it's ugly head out as he asked"What are you doing with him, Kimberly?"

Kimberly didn't like how Jason called her with so much familiarity,also she was about to tell him that. Suddenly they heard someone shout"Hey! You guys looking to get busted or something? This place is a restricted area!" it was Trini she was standing above the slope.

Zack laughed and sarcastically asked"Oh, really, Einstein? Restricted?As in, we shouldn't be standing on crazy rocks doing Karate Kid moves, right?"

Alex had to agree with Zack on this as he looked at Trini who was above them and said: "I must agree with him,I mean you are also not allowed to be here."

Billy who was touching the foot of the slope noticed cracks appearing on it as he said"Guys.."but everyone was too busy quarreling with each other.Soon the slope broke and Trini crashed down below,while the rest jumped away.Everyone soon got up,as they looked at the destroyed slope to see a black crystal-like wall, Alex spoke up"I never see something like this before."

Everyone had took out their phones switched on the lights as Alex was pretty sure he saw a white gem inside and is glowed a bit as he placed his hand near it, Zack grew impatient and took the pickaxe nearby and slammed it breaking the crystal wall,as a rock with a black jewel inside it fell out.

Zack was able to get black jewel as he spoke with excitement"Whoa! Dudes check this out! There is some nifty jewelry here in the rock!" other was not sure about this and tried to stop him,

The black jewel inside the rock glowed as Zack touched it this shocked him,this caused him to look at the others and ask"Did you guys see that... it just.....glowed..."

Zack smashed it against the wall and to his surprise, the rock cracked and the black jewel fell out of the wall and at his feet,he smiled and said"This one is mine, and guys, it feels so warm."While the others tried to stop him he continued smashing the crystal wall as more crystals fell out.

Jason curiosity took the best of him,so he decided to question Alex and Kimberly relationship later.

Zack picked a jewel from the ground and threw one with a yellow gem towards her and said"Yo crazy girl, catch!" which Trini caught as he smiled and continued"Nice catch!"

Alex took white gem which was glowing similarly to how Zack's did when he touched it.He was pretty sure it pulsed with some kind of energy.
