Duryodhan Vs Nakul

Guru Dronacharya stepped aside, and the two young princes, Duryodhan and Nakul, entered the arena.

Duryodhan was seen dragging his mace / gada on the ground as he entered the arena, and sparks flew everywhere.

After reaching the center of the arena, Duryodhan picked up his mace, raised it high above his head and smashed on the ground forcefully.

* booom *

The next moment, a small earthquake erupted on the ground due to his immense strength, shocking everybody present.

"Now that's some solid strength. System, Status! "

---------------------------------

* NAME : Duryodhan

* AGE : 26

* ATTRIBUTES :

•Strength = A

•Agility = B

•Physique = A

-----------------------------------

Yes, this is the new function of the Seven Deadly Sins System that Aryan has discovered just recently. In simple words, it can allow him to see some of the opponent's stats, depending on the other party's strength.

But unlike his own extremely detailed status, it only reveals the name and attributes. Other things like blessings and astras are not shown. So it's not very reliable to judge someone's strength just based on this information.

But nonetheless, it provides some information anyway.

"I have to say, although the varna distribution is nothing but a means to exploit people in Kaliyug, but in this era, Royal Kshatriya blood does have it's specialty. Both strength and physique are at A level and the agility is also at B level. Meanwhile, no matter how hard I exercised, but before getting the System, I couldn't surpass D level at all. "

Aryan sighed helplessly before shifting his gaze to Nakul.

Nakul, the fourth youngest of the Pandav brothers, born with the blessing of twin gods - Ashwini Kumars , is a skilled sword warrior.

At this time, Nakul has also stepped onto the arena, with his two swords hung behind his back in a cross shape.

After reaching the center of the arena, he took out his two swords and banged them at each other, creating a sonic boom in the arena which caused everyone to cover their ears reflexively.

---------------------------------

* NAME : Nakul

* AGE : 23

* ATTRIBUTES :

•Strength = B+

•Agility = A

•Physique = B

-----------------------------------

After taking a look at his attributes, Aryan couldn't help but sigh that Royal families really had it easy, almost everyone had attributes above B level.

Even Bhanumati sitting beside him, who hadn't received much combat training, had an agility of B level and strength and physique of C level.

In the arena, Duryodhan and Nakul greeted their elders sitting on the stage briefly, exchanged respectful nods and took their positions on opposite sides of the circular battleground.

As the sun bathed the arena in its warm glow, the first battle of the tournament was set to begin.

"Come on Nakul, don't waste my time. Everyone here knows who is going to win. So let's just get it over with fast."

Duryodhan hooked at him with his index finger provocatively.

"Do you only know how to fight with your mouth or your arms also have the strength to back up your words, big brother ? "

Nakul replied savagely.

* pooooommmm *

The sound of the horn marked the beginning of the battle.

"Aahhh"

With a battle cry, Nakul brandished both of his swords and ran towards Duryodhan, who also brandished his mace.

* boom *

Just from the initial collision, it became evident that Duryodhan had the upper hand in the battle as Nakul was pushed back a few steps while Duryodhan remained standing in his position.

Seeing this, Nakul changed his strategy and instead of colliding head on he used his agility to constantly move around Duryodhan and rain a flurry of attacks with his dual swords.

Duryodhan, with his imposing physique and immense strength, stood his ground as Nakul attempted to outmaneuver him. The clash of their differing attributes was evident from the start. Nakul's agility allowed him to dart around Duryodhan, striking with his dual swords in a rapid flurry of attacks. Each swipe was aimed at exploiting the gaps in Duryodhan's defense.

Duryodhan, however, was no mere brute. He had honed his combat skills through rigorous training, and his keen instincts allowed him to anticipate Nakul's movements.

Despite Nakul's agile assault, Duryodhan defended himself with his massive mace. With each swing, he created a defensive wall that prevented Nakul's swords from landing any telling blows.

The audience watched in awe as the battle unfolded before them. It was a contest of strength versus agility, and both combatants displayed impressive prowess. Nakul's agile footwork allowed him to dodge Duryodhan's powerful strikes, while Duryodhan's relentless defense prevented Nakul from landing any decisive attacks.

As the battle raged on, Nakul realized that his initial strategy might not be enough to defeat Duryodhan. His agile movements were gradually losing their effectiveness as Duryodhan adapted to his opponent's style. Nakul decided to switch tactics.

With a sudden burst of speed, Nakul darted in close, aiming to strike at Duryodhan's legs and disrupt his balance. However, Duryodhan, quick to react, brought his mace down to counter Nakul's attack. The impact of the collision sent shockwaves through the arena, and Nakul was forced to retreat once more.

Duryodhan, seizing the opportunity, pursued Nakul relentlessly. He swung his mace with calculated precision, aiming to corner his opponent. Nakul's agility allowed him to evade some of Duryodhan's strikes, but the sheer power behind each swing made it difficult for Nakul to mount a counterattack.

The battle had now turned into a test of endurance. Nakul, with his superior agility, attempted to wear down Duryodhan by constantly moving and dodging. On the other hand, Duryodhan relied on his immense strength to overpower Nakul. The audience watched in rapt attention, unsure of which attribute would prevail.

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, the heat of the arena became more intense. Beads of sweat formed on both combatants' brows, and their breaths came in heavy gasps. Nakul knew that he needed to end the battle quickly, as Duryodhan's strength showed no signs of waning.

With renewed determination, Nakul launched a rapid series of strikes, targeting Duryodhan's legs and lower body. His agile movements allowed him to dart in and out, avoiding Duryodhan's mace as best as he could. However, Duryodhan's defense remained steadfast, and he blocked Nakul's attacks with precise mace swings.

Suddenly, Duryodhan saw an opening. As Nakul lunged forward for another attack, Duryodhan executed a perfectly timed counter. With a powerful swing of his mace, he struck Nakul's side, sending him sprawling across the arena.

The crowd fell silent for a moment, stunned by the sudden turn of events. Nakul, though dazed and winded, managed to get back on his feet, but he was clearly injured. Duryodhan, displaying remarkable control over his immense strength, had delivered a decisive blow without causing excessive harm.

Nakul, realizing the battle was slipping from his grasp, gathered his remaining strength for one final attempt. With a determined expression, he launched a series of lightning-fast strikes as crescent shaped air slashes were hurled at Duryodhan.

But Duryodhan, now confident of his victory, blocked each attack with ease.

In a final, desperate move, Nakul attempted a powerful overhead strike. However, Duryodhan, his senses sharp and his muscles primed, deflected Nakul's attack with a single, powerful swing of his mace. The impact sent Nakul's swords flying out of his hands, leaving him defenseless.

With a swift and controlled motion, Duryodhan disarmed Nakul, knocking him to the ground.

Nakul, realizing the futility of further resistance, helplessly raised his hand in defeat.

The horn sounded, signaling the end of the battle. The crowd erupted in applause, acknowledging the incredible display of skill and strength from both combatants. Duryodhan emerged victorious, having demonstrated the superiority of his remarkable strength and unwavering defense.

The first battle of the tournament had concluded, with Duryodhan emerging as the victor. The audience cheered, eager to witness more thrilling contests.
