Finished looking over her improved status, Scaly noticed that the Cave Harvestman had already disappeared into the distance.

Not having to worry about getting attacked all of a sudden, Scaly got out from her temporary hiding spot before moving in the direction of the closest salamander or salamander eating snake.

For now, she had decided that she would be focusing on hunting down the monsters related to the salamanders in the cave, as all of them seemed to be weak enough for her to fight with her current strength!

In the future, when she got stronger, she would be able to move on to hunting some of the stronger monsters inside the cave.

Like this, Scaly began hunting down any of the weaker monsters related to the salamanders inside the cave. Not only focusing on the salamander eating snake!

Hunting for monsters with all her might, Scaly spent the next two days hunting the salamander-related monsters inside the cave. However, she soon realized that it was getting harder and harder for her to level up again. This was especially so after she had reached level 10…

For the current Scaly, the weak salamander related monsters were no longer enough for her to continue increasing her strength, as it might take more than a week to reach level 15 with her current slow progress.

I can't continue hunting the salamanders and salamander eating snakes anymore… Looks like I will finally have to move on to some of the stronger monsters!

Feeling both nervous and excited over what was to come now that she finally decided to move away from hunting the monsters, she had spent the last two days hunting, Scaly looked over just how much her strength had improved over the past two days.

Not only had her level increased by seven, but her stats had also gone up by a lot. Among which, the one that had increased the most was her vitality and magic. Vitality going up by 21, while her magic had gone up by 14! T

Even more surprising was the fact that she had grown larger compared to before after her vitality increased to 50. Directly going from a length of about 15 centimeters to a length of 30 centimeters after a single night of sleep!

Although she was still really small and was nowhere near as big as the cave alligator, humans, or the giant lizard she had seen, she had still doubled in size compared to before… Not to mention, her strength had increased by 10 after her sudden growth spurt!

Other than the fact that she was stronger after having grown in size, Scaly understood that her increase in size would make it far harder for her to hide herself from the other monsters roaming around inside the cave. Especially considering that she was covered in a layer of beautiful blue scales that caused her to stand out like a sore thumb in the rocky landscape of the cave…

If she could just barely hide herself with her small body before. Now she no longer had this option unless she could find something big enough to hide behind or beneath!

However, Scaly did not really worry too much about the fact that it was harder for her to hide after her size increased. The simple reason for this was that with her current strength, she was more than confident enough to fight off most of the monsters inside the cave.

Of course, with exception to monsters like massive Cave alligator or the Venom Cave Spider Queen that had very clearly gone through its second evolution…

Maybe I should try hunting a Cave Harvestman first…?

Deciding on what monster she should try hunting first, Scaly ended up deciding on a spider type monster, as she had gained quite a bit of experience in fighting spider type monsters during her time inside the cave.

Not to mention, most of the monsters present inside the cave were spiders, one of which also ate salamanders and could be considered similar to the salamander eating snake when it came to its strength.

Catching Scaly completely off guard in the process.

Not waiting for her to react, the spider with a small body and exceptionally long legs attacked with its killing intent clear for all to see.

All of a sudden, Scaly who was used to being the one ambushing others and catching them off guard before killing them, was put in that same position herself!

Even if Scaly reacted far faster compared to the salamanders and other monsters she had hunted over the past few days, she was still not fast enough to dodge the surprise attack of the Cave Harvestman-

Feeling the sharp fangs of the cave harvestman biting into her, Scaly could only rely on her recently increased strength to break free from the grasp of the spider many times larger than herself before it had a chance to pierce deep enough to kill her.

At least with her strong vitality, it would not be too difficult for her to recover most injuries she received… however, in the end, her strong vitality did nothing to dull the pain she felt when the fangs of the spider dug into her.

Letting out a scream inside her head due to the pain, Scaly managed to make some distance between herself and the cave harvestman with the help of some quickly conjured water balls to keep it from following after her. Only coming to a stop after she had gotten far enough away to properly use her water magic before it could reach her!
