Academy Classes

With the problem dealt with, Kentsuru along with Emiko and Utsukushi returned to the front of the Shinobi Academy. By now, there was a crowd gathering before the door. Once the gates were opened, students began to flood through them while Kentsuru relied on theoretical information to locate one of the uchiha kids whose father was an open supporter of the rebel Uchiha. As soon as he did, he moved to meet the kid.

The kid he had chosen was a third-year student and ten years old at this point. Kentsuru grabbed his shoulder causing the kid to turn and face him. This was when Kentsuru released the Kotoamatsukami once more by once again invoking his goddess. This time, he implanted a nasty suggestion to attack the daughter of a loyalist family in the Uchiha Compound. He made this idea seem natural, implanting that the girl had been chiding him. Attempting to get his father involved.

With this completed, Kentsuru's chakra was drained down to about low genin level so he simply headed inside to the first-years head class (or 'A' Class) and took his seat on the left side in the third row. Emiko and Utsukushi joined him flanking him on both sides which brought stares from sone of the boys in the class. He simply shrugged, and rested a bit before the teacher arrived. The teacher was a woman which he knew to be a Tokubetsu Jonin. She was quite attractive.

"Hello Class, my name is Nara Atsume and I'll be your homeroom teacher during your time within the Academy. We have added several new subjects to the curriculum this year at the suggestion of Lord Hokage including Chakra Control, Shurikenjutsu, and Ninjutsu. Additionally, you will each be allowed to learn one D-Rank Jutsu from either myself or the jutsu repository. If you do well in class, that limit will be increased to one C-Rank Jutsu." The woman said, introducing herself.

Kentsuru smirked, instantly planning for his group to become the ones to learn the C-Rank Jutsus. After cursory homeroom role call and introductions were finished, Atsume-kun passed out several scrolls among the class with each student receiving a scroll. She then explained, "We wish for you to undertake this cursory exam to determine your current knowledge and to measure against at the end of the school year. The four top spots will be allowed to learn an additional D-Rank Jutsu."

Kentsuru looked over towards Neji, surprised to see him look so down, and sent a small note to Neji's desk with a bit of shurikenjutsu. He wanted Neji to become his friend and comrade in the future, potentially even join his squad once Kentsuru was promoted to Jonin. The letter not only asked the Hyuuga why he seemed to down in the dumps but would also help Neji score fourth in the exam. Kentsuru then moved to examine the test.

"Well then girls, let's fill the top three spots." Kentsuru whispered, just as Atsume-kun stated the test was now begun and anyone caught talking would fail. Kentsuru opened the scroll and smirked, his otaku knowledge on Naruto would certainly be enough on it's own to pass this test easily. And so, as he began to fill the answers, he openly allowed the girls to keep an eye on his scroll. Ten minutes into the hour allotted and Kentsuru brought his scroll to the teacher's desk.

Another fifty minutes and the tests were done. Atsume quickly graded the thirty tests within the next half-hour and began to return the tests. Each wrong question had been marked with the correct solution, though Kentsuru unsurprisingly made a perfect score. When she finally made it back to her desk, she spoke up. "The top scorers in order are; Iruzuka Kentsuru, Uchiha Emiko, Hoseki Utsukushi, and Hyuuga Neji."

"You will all be allowed to skip the next class on Shinobi History and instead choose a D-Rank Jutsu to learn. Speaking of next class... class is adjourned. You may all head to History while the afore-mentioned individuals will stay." Atsume finished, then after the other children had left, waited to hear what each of the children wished to learn. As he had already learned all three basic jutsu that were required to graduate, Kentsuru thought on this.

Emiko decided to learn Kokohi no Jutsu, a Genjutsu; Utsukushi decided to learn Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu, Neji decided to learn Hakke Kuushou of the Hyuuga, and finally Kentsuru had decided to learn Raiton: Raikyuu. Due to having come in first place and not having made any errors, Atsume had decided to allow him to learn a C-Rank jutsu. While his companions had taken the entire two-hour period to learn and gain expertise in their chosen jutsu, Kentsuru had finished in the first hour.

Afterwards, the group joined the other kids in the Shurikenjutsu class. By the time they joined, the others had just left class and were also heading that way. They arrived in the academy's training ground with wooden shuriken laid before them. The class mainly consisted of learning the right posturing and hand movements to throw a Shuriken which about half of the students in the class having some troubles.

The rest of the day carried on in much the same fashion, and eventually Kentsuru left the academy alongside Emiko and Utsukushi. The three split up with Kentsuru heading home, plans to test the new jutsu and excited for Eula's dancing class. By the time he returned to the front of his foor it was about three in the afternoon which meant he had a full two hours before he had to go down and eat dinner. Kentsuru thought about combining Raiton with his Hiten Mitsurugi kenjutsu.
