Having explained away Eula's appearance as someone he had hired to help his father's work as a secretary, Kentsuru finished preparations for his first day at the academy. Having recently awakened, the youth had already finished getting dressed and had his katana fastened to his backside in a side-cut back sheathe. Kentsuru came down, noticing the light-blue haired woman which was now his own companion in the kitchen and a light blush overcame him.
Hiding his blush, He came down and sat at the dining table alongside his father Tsuchi. Tsuchi looked to his son and spoke, "I must thank you again for finding such a capable secretary for my company, and all she wanted was room and board here. She's even preparing us breakfast. You are such a capable son and I'm very proud of you. I know that I've harped on you recently for not wanting to continue the family business and becoming a shinobi instead, I'm sorry."
"I'm happy to have helped, dad. And well, I want to take over the family business some day when I've settled down. Before that, though, I want to experience life as a shinobi." Kentsuru spoke, perhaps unknowingly causing the father a massive relief just by hearing that his son would follow in his footsteps one day. Breakfast was then placed before them - ochiri eggs scrambled, bacon, and a small stack of hotcakes.
All three of them consumed their breakfast, small talk occasionally arising like who Kentsuru thought would be on his team or which customers Tsuchi was seeing today. When breakfast was finished, Kentsuru and Eula stepped up to the sink to clean the dishes. Eula spoke first, "You brought me into a better world where my family name has no bearing, and for that you have my sincere gratitude. I've packed a lunch full of lean meats for you. If you get drowsy in the afternoon, anyone who's looking for an opportunity to take you down will make their move."
"Thank you, Ms. Lawrence. I certainly appreciate all that you do for me and my father. Take care of my father, and I'm looking forward to more dance class when I get home." Kentsuru replied, picking up his lunchbox as soon as the dishes had been cleaned. With that, Kentsuru stepped to the front door and crossed the threshold, moving down the path towards the Shinobi Academy. When he had nearly reached the academy, he noticed two women standing a few yards away.
Of course Kentsuru had arrived quite early, but he hadn't expected there to be others that had arrived at the academy doors just as early as he had. The first of the two girls was heavenly, with a white blouse and shorts lined with red worn under an open black coat bearing the uchiha symbol on the left side and with long black open-toed shoes and fingerless gloves. Her long silky midnight-hued hair was what captivated the young man who caught himself before he could blush.
The second of the pair was dressed in a skirt of peach and cream hues with a netting stretching from the dress to her neck. She also wore black leggings up to her thigh and short open-toed shoes as well, and had beige hair which had been done up in a ponytail. Both girls were lovely, and Kentsuru counted himself lucky to have met them here. He walked up, speaking. "Ah, waiting for the academy to open as well? Oh, where are my manners... I'm Kentsuru."
"Ahh hello, I'm Hōseki Utsukushī and this is my childhood friend Uchiha Emiko. We're early because Emiko's worried about her father and we wanted to talk to one of the ninja instructors." the beige-haired girl explained which caused comprehension to show on Kentsuru's face. "I'm not a ninja instructor, but I think that perhaps I can help you with your father. Why don't you start by explaining what is wrong and we'll go from there?"
"My father is a veteran of the second shinobi world war, and was promoted to Chunin on the field of battle. Even so, he's normally quite amiable but recently he's been coming home drunk and today even beat my mother. It has to do with his new friends, who aren't happy with the clan's current lot." Emiko spoke, a tear forming in the corner of her right eye. She had unlocked the first tomoe of her Sharingan, sadly by trying to stop and then watch her mother be beaten.
"I know of a way to help both your father and your mother, if you are willing to trust me Emiko. But first, allow me to introduce myself - my name is Kentsuru Iruzuka and like you I'm an academy student. But my family has some ties to the Uchiha and I'm also acquainted with a Jōnin who might be able to help if needed. For now it might be best if we approach Master Fugaku with the matter and see what he has to say."
Emiko was slightly relieved to hear that the boy Kentsuru might be able to help with the situation, and nodded. The three of them left the academy's vicinity and began to head towards the Uchiha Compound. When they finally arrived, the two posted outside the compound's entrance moved to intercept, however Kentsuru merely withdrew a letter and handed it to the guards. "I'm here on permission of Master Fugaku to speak with him about my family's product."
The two guards didn't seem able to get a word out before being handed the letter, both opening the letter and examining it in full detail along with the signature of their clan head. The eldest of the two nodded. "Greetings, we've been waiting for the representative from Iruzuka Composites Incorporated. You and your companions may pass through and meet Lord Fugaku. His home is one of the furthest in the compound, please have a good stay."
Kentsuru nodded and head on towards the home of Fugaku, eventually entering the house with the two women. He was immediately greeted with the child Sasuke, about one year younger than himself give or take a few days. Kentsuru spoke up, wasting no time in greeting Sasuke. His eyes swept the house but found no sign of Itachi. "Hello, may I see your father Fugaku? Tell him I'm the representative from Iruzuka Composites Incorporated, and I'll give you a small reward."
"Okay, I'll let father know you're here." Sasuke spoke, then left the front of the house for the deeper reaches. Eventually, the boy would return informing the group they could enter the house. Sliding his shoes off and placing them neatly, Kentsuru headed in flanked by the two girls. He would find Fugaku within an area which was obviously a workshop of come sort and took a slight bow before the great man known as 'Wicked Eyes Fugaku'.
"Greetings, Master Fugaku. I know that you've been in negotiations with my father Tsuchi, hoping to get his flak put into the konoha police vests. I've a favor to ask so I'll be brief. If you help me, I'll guarantee that my father agrees to your contract." spoke Kentsuru, causing the war veteran to raise an eye at the youth. He silently stood, awaiting the response from the Uchiha Head, and spotted Itachi coming out of some sort of side-door dressed within a Chunin flak jacket and Jonin unitard.
"And what is this matter you wish my favor in?" spoke Fugaku, holding a stony expression despite knowing that this kid's arrival was a boon. Kentsuru replied, "Ms. Emiko's father has recently joined in with the faction that wishes to rebel from Konoha, he has been beating Ms. Emiko's mother and causing Ms. Emiko to feel unsafe. If you help with this matter then you'll have the contract with my father's company."
"Very well, the matter will be handled and I'll be around for the final negotiation this evening. Itachi, please escort out guest out of the compound." responded Fugaku, returning to his work as the Jonin did as his father asked. As soon as the group had just vacated the compound, Kentsuru looked dead into the eyes of Itachi and invoked the power of his goddess to cast Kotoamatsukami directly into the eyes of the Jonin.
The suggestion which Kentsuru had implanted would put Itachi on a path of loyalty to the Hokage and the Loyalist Uchiha, and would end his involvement in ANBU Root. Itachi would feel the sudden urge to cut ties with the organization and aid his father in silencing the rebel faction which wished to break free of the village. While he would still be fiercely loyal to the village this would ensure that Itachi's loyalty was in the right place.
"Thanks so much, Kentsuru." Emily spoke, "I didn't imagine meeting you would be so fortuitous, why don't we become friends? You and me with Utsukushī-kun?" Kentsuru smiled warmly, he could never say no to such beauties in his past life and even though he had certainly grown since then he could not deny them. Furthermore this would work towards his goals as time went on. So, as they returned to the Academy, Kentsuru smirked.
"Yeah sure, that would be a great idea. How about we sit together when we reach the Academy? I'm sure by now it's already opened or it's just about to. Since we're going to be friends and potentially teammates we should tell each other what we're good at once we get settled in the academy." Kentsuru remarked, eventually leading to the three being settled into seating together on the far left side of the classroom for 'Class A'.
