"What the..." Umbranis exclaimed, his pupils, almost indistinguishable from his irises, dilating in shock.
Alarmed, he quickly halted the release of his energy, using brute force to break out of Ossa's grip, pushing the robot-like man aside.
"What just happened..." Rohan murmured, glancing at Umbranis, who stared at Ossa with a mix of curiosity and caution.
It wasn't the shoulder lock that intrigued him; it was the fact that Ossa had somehow tried to absorb his dragonic energy—a feat unheard of.
"I don't know... Just now, he tried to absorb my dragonic energy... It pulled toward him as if it originally belonged to him," Umbranis said, his tone laced with doubt.
He could hardly believe what had happened, his curious yet vigilant gaze never leaving Ossa, who stood motionless, his eyes fixed on the two girls on the ground, specifically Bel, as if awaiting something.
