Moving Forward

As Xilo woke up in unfamiliar environment he started to panic slightly until he felt the warmth of someone's breath over top of his head along with the feeling of being held by someone causing the memories and events of yesterday to flood back into his slightly groggy mind and then he finally started to calm down. It turns out he fell asleep on top of Xelfia while they were still in the forest. With that being said he started to look around at his body to see what his condition was like now that he slept a little more then before. When checking on his body he ended up noticing that for the most part he was relatively fine now. Which took him by surprise a bit, he figured he'd at least need a couple of days of resting to be at the level of health he was in now.

"Did I sleep longer than I thought?."

Under his breath he started to speculate things but the only thing he could of think of was that they had slept longer then planned and he ended up healing over that time period. While he did find that a little disappointing he didn't dwell on it to much because at the end of the day he was in better health then if he would woke up sooner but that didn't stop him from being curious about how long they slept sadly he couldn't really tell exactly but with the way his body healed it had to of been a couple of days at least. Though Xelfia was still asleep herself so unfortunately he couldn't exactly move around or else he risked waking her up by accident and that wasn't something he wanted to do just yet. Another reason for such thoughts was that he enjoyed the feeling of her body on him but he quickly kicked that out of his mind. He also got to finally get a look at her more slender figure with some slight curves to it, Which was nice.

"Though it feels good."

Saying that he slightly leaned back into her chest and began resting again until he looked up at her face.

"What feels good."

"Fuck." Was the first thing that came to mind the second he saw Xelfia awake looking down at him. She heard him and he didn't know what to do so in a state of panic he quickly thought of a lame lie that would probably never work and low and behold it didn't.

"It f-feels good to be healed again, that's all."

All he got in response to such a statement though was a cold look and one word though.

"Liar."

Xelfia definitely saw him start panicking strangely which was something he didn't usual do and for the most part she'd seen a lot of similar cases when people had something to hide so with that in mind she knew he was lying to her. Plus the fact that she saw him staring at her body before also helped her put the pieces together but that was something hard for her to accept just yet.

"Fine, you're right I meant your body."

But Xilo seeing he might of made her upset just barreled straight through any reservations she might of had for the subject and gave it to her straight in the end and with that put her into an awkward spot She didn't quite know how to handle.

"Whatever. Let's just get going now, you can walk right?"

"Yes, I should be good on that front now. Did you get enough rest yourself?"

"Yep. Let's get going then."

With that they began to get up and started their walk to leave the forest. XIlo wasn't quite ready to use any Astral Energy because he wasn't healed fully just yet so in the end all they could do was walk out of the forest and enjoy the view of it as they walked. That thought process ended up leaving a slightly bitter taste in his mouth when he thought about it. This was his last walk in the forest he called home and he never knew if he was going to come back again. But it was for the better though especially now that he had Xelfia with him. In the future they could always come back to visit this place again when they finally have some free time again. Which brought a small smile to his face just thinking about it. "The future is it. I can't Wait."

"What are you smirking about."

"Oh nothing come on let's keep walking."

After about half an hour they finally made it out of the forest. While they might of been walking they were still faster than normal people especially because part of the way Xelfia lent a shoulder to him to help slightly. He was offered to be carried by her but he vehemently denied such a thing. He wasn't so weak as to need someone to carry him whoever they were at least not at the moment anyways. If in the future if he needed such things he wouldn't be exactly opposed to it then but that's a different story.

Finally after a little more walking they made it to the Fiery Clan's hill that leads to the entrance but this time around Xilo definitely didn't plan on sneaking around or anything of the likes. He was going to barrel straight through to get to the Clan Leader as fast as possible and that's exactly what he did. Even though people saw him with a new face and were curious what he was doing in the end mostly no one stopped him and the few people that tried instantly came to a halt the second they stepped a foot forward by Xelfia's pressure.

"Hey-yy you can't just barge in there."

Arriving in front of the Clan Leaders Study room a couple of guards in front of the door quickly presented themselves attempting to stop them. Even if they were afraid of the pressure they still stepped forward to block him from moving forward. Though if it got physical in the end Xilo and Xelfia would definitely win. With that in mind they went for the more conversational approach because anything else was pointless.

"Don't worry we're not here to do harm. I just want to talk with the Leader that's all.:

"Sir and Madam we really can-"

"Let them in, it's fine."

With that a slightly older sounding man's voice came through the door that quickly cut off the guards and shut them up.

"Can we go now."

Even though they still looked a little pensive in the end they still let them pass.

"Appreciate it."

With that Xilo opened the door to find two men sitting in the room waiting for his entrance.

"I see you've come boy. Sit down and let's have a talk why don't we."

Enjoy
