After making sure Xilo was okay Xelfia turned to see how Tearia was doing but from her observations it didn't seem to be going too well. The two were constantly moving around and trading blows and well it looked intense on the outside they weren't actually doing any significant damage to their opponent it was just a flashy stalemate. However one thing she picked up on that was done a lot better then Xilo was the way she fought. "Did someone teach her?" Well it wasn't perfect by any means it was a lot better then Xilo's and her own technique. Tired of watching the endless back and forth Xelfia decided to finally speak up and offer to help.
"Do you need any help?"
Tearia didn't hear her though. She was too busy trying to fight her opponent and not lose focus but unexpectedly Xilo beside her had already taken care of his second target and she still hadn't put a dent in hers. She knew Xilo was a fighter and well his movements were obviously self taught but the power behind them was definitely no joke. If she were to get hit by one of his attacks even she would probably be forced to defend or evade. She had an inkling he was weaker then her in Astral Power especially from his speed. He shouldn't of been anywhere above the Transformation Stage but with the power he was currently displaying she wouldn't doubt it if he said was at the third stage. "Why though?" Finally she got kicked out of her thoughts as the Monkey in front of her finally landed a blow on one of her legs and caused her to stagger back due to being absent minded.
"Ow"
Taking some distance she backed off and reorganized herself as she made sure she could still move her legs properly. While it might not have been the heaviest of injuries it could still affect her negatively. After making sure she was okay she looked back up at the Monkey in front of her and finally started taking this seriously. Before she wanted to show off to impress Xilo but now she was only making a fool of herself and if she didn't get serious it would continue. Watching the third monkey Xilo was facing meeting it's end in the side of her vision she knew she was the only one left struggling and now all eyes were on her. "Come on, After boasting you can't fail." Psyching herself up she charged at the pack leader in front of her but this time with something different in mind.
Finally finishing off the last monkey from the pack and finishing his warm up Xilo could finally relax a little a bit as he walked back to Xelfia and stood beside her turning his cold eyes onto her and joined in spectating her fight.
"How's it going?"
"She's Struggling."
"Now that's surprising. I figured I would be the one making everyone wait. Should we help her?"
"I already offered but I was ignored so I think she wants to do it herself."
Nodding at that he kept his attention on Tearia the whole time. While Xelfia may have been nonchalant about it, it didn't mean he could do the same. He didn't want to see her get hurt if possible. As she got closer to the leader though he started to see something slowly appear and swirl around parts of her body that intrigued him and Xelfia could see it too.
"Gusts of wind."
"Indeed, Though the way she's using is different from expected."
Wind was a lighter element that was perfect for speed types for the most part but instead of using it to boost her speed Tearia was swirling it around her fists instead as she charged forward. Focusing all the Elemental Energy she could muster she launched into close combat once again with the Monkey in front of her. It was the same exchange as before but something was different this time and the monkey noticed this as well but couldn't tell right away. The Wind Element was one of the harder elements to see for most people because it blended in so well with its surroundings so the monkey was unable to tell what was different until one of the blows from the woman in front of it finally landed once again and unlike before the monkey felt pain and a slight sense of danger. If before it was something akin to a tickle that hit the monkey then now it felt like swift blades constantly slicing at it going deeper and deeper each time with each blow that landed.
"What's going on."
"I see...."
"You know what's happening?"
"Yes, It's something I've rarely seen in my forest day's in the past. She's applying the speed to her hands to make her blows hit harder using the force of the speed behind them. From my experience not everyone can pull it off as easily."
"Why?"
"Because without precise control you can't even control the energy to easily make it stay and wrap around you and keep it sharp and heavy enough. Let alone the consequences if you make a mistake in controlling it and suffer from a backlash from a power you're not used to. One wrong move and you could end up smashing your bones due to the strength of the wind pressure. In short it's reckless and stupid and from what i can see she isn't very proficient in it either."
In fact back in the forest she had seen more then a few try similar things and ended up breaking their own hands or arms doing so and other body parts as well.
"Wait then should we stop her!"
"Calm down, you worry too much about others sometimes. If she decided to do it she should be okay."
"Bu-"
"ha..I'm here as well you know? If it gets to that point I'll try to stop it. Would that make you happy? If you go in there who knows if you'll even be able to beat it let alone help her."
Frustrated at that answer and his lake of capability all Xilo could do was silently wait and hope nothing would go wrong. It was hard to watch people put themselves in danger when they were in front of him. He hated this slight powerlessness he was feeling. Noticing his Frustration all Xelfia could was sigh in silence. "You big idiot..." She knew he was very kind even if he didn't always show it properly but she didn't want him to suffer because of it either but there was nothing she could do which made her even more frustrated then Xilo. As they two stayed silent side by side they were eventually interrupted by a scream.
