Just Getting Started

Stepping into a small little open plain that had one side of it cut off by the mountains with no one in their sight, Xilo and Xelfia both had to admit she was right. It really was a secluded place. There was a couple Astral Beasts staggered about a little ahead of them but that were well concealed where they were at the moment so they didn't have to worry about any of them rushing over to attack them while they stopped and explored the surroundings with their eyes. If possible Xilo wanted to get a good feel for the place he was fighting at and while he might not always get similar chances in the future it was better to practice looking at his surroundings whether in the midst of fighting or beforehand.

"Look's pretty flat. That's good."

Xelfia beside him nodded in agreement. Right now they didn't need any big challenges or differences in fighting they just needed to fight and get stronger. There was plenty of different environments in this Astral Zone for them to practice in later when they needed it. With this though they could be confident in their safety whether from surprise attacks from outsiders or other Astral beasts and other similar things.

"Well I'll say this you got a good set of eyes to find such a place Tearia."

Xelfia praised Tearia for finding such a place but she didn't know that Tearia never actually found it on her own. One day on her way to the Astral Zone she was getting tired of being pestered by all the men around her constantly when she appeared so she secretly asked one of them in private with a nice smile about some good training places and he told her about a couple of such spots that he had been using. After that she did see that same man around the area every once in a while but she mostly ignored him even when he tried to approach her and when that didn't work she just beat him to a living pulp and he eventually stopped following her around as well. "Gross." remembering that pervert irritated her a little bit but she quickly got over and played it off as her own work.

"Haha, What can I say? I just got lucky and stumbled upon it one day, no biggie."

Flashing a smile toward Xilo she stepped out of their hiding spot and quickly approached the beasts in the clearing.

"Come on, these guys aren't that strong and their may be some treasure that is undiscovered still here."

Seeing her eagerness they both followed along as they finally started to get serious. While Xilo didn't care too much for whatever kind of treasure they'd find so close to the entrance he didn't want to make a mistake while fighting. He had made enough of those already so even if they were on the weaker side he still took it seriously. Xelfia thought of stepping forward herself to help practice but since the strongest there was only at the Transformation Stage she decided to just leave it to them to take of them.

"4 of them. You want to take the leader? I'll distract the rest while you do that and hopefully take the other three out. Shouldn't be too hard."

"Leaving all the hard work for little old me, Is that really how you should treat a lady?"

"Just fight, we both know you'll be fine."

Seeing he didn't play along with her she sighed and also began to get serious as she turned towards the pack in front of her. Standing in front of the two of them stood 4 red coloured monkeys with enlarged fangs and claws with the leader having the biggest out of the four. Unfortunately in this part of the Astral Zone Astral Beasts tended to not spawn as often due to all the people constantly killing and fighting them in this area which led to the animals that were originally in the zone to eventually mutate themselves and turn into Astral beasts of their own right. The four Monkeys standing in front of them were also a part of that category as well and they tended to specialize in speed. Thankfully for Tearia she wasn't any slower then them instead she was probably faster which was good for her.

Quickly bolting forward she charged at the leader while Xilo ran behind her as well as she released her Astral Energy and focused it on the leader forcing it to pay attention to her as Xilo used his own energy to grab the other three and forcefully throw them away from the leader. Slightly impressed with the control of his Astral Energy she flashed a confident smile as now she was in a one on one situation with Xilo a bit distanced from her with Xelfia in the middle watching over them just in case not that either of them needed it.

After Dragging away the three weaker targets Xilo was left facing three fabrication stage foe's. He shouldn't struggle too much with them especially after his last fight with the Nature Spirit so he charged straight into the three of them targeting the one that was the easiest to move when he used his Astral Energy since that one was probably the weakest of the bunch and the one he could kill the fastest. Noticing the Man dash towards their comrade on the far left the other two panicked and quickly went to help only to be late as they watched him run by them with no problem and come face to face with their comrade and bring his fist forward blasting the monkey back as he landed against a tree a little further back and instantly died.

"Improvements have been made I see."

Xelfia watching from the side continued to watch and examine Xilo as he fought noticing the improvements since his last fight with the Nature Spirit and the run in with the king and was happy to see no noticeable lasting damage affecting his fighting mentally or physically.
