"How can you forget about such an important matter," I grumbled in annoyance at Roshi.

I sighed and asked, "So tell me Master, who has the Power Pole,"

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that, it is in the possession of my old student, Gohan," Roshi said while raising his hands to calm me down, "You just need to go to his house and collect the Power-Pole from him,"

"Hmm, okay, I'll go to his house to borrow it from him," I said with a sigh and then asked, "You're coming as well, right,"

"Oh, no I need some rest, after pulling Instinctual Movement I don't have enough strength," Roshi said with a weak voice.

"But, how am I going to find him without you, and even if I find him, how will he recognize me," I inquired.

"Hmm, take Phoenix with you," Roshi said while pointing at the sad Bird.

"Huh, does Mr Gohan know Phoenix," I inquired.

"Oh yeah, he knows him," Roshi said, then his eyes widened, and he started grinning, "Hey, on that note, why don't you just take him with you"

"You mean," I asked.

"Yeah, I'm giving you Phoenix as a gift," Roshi said with a happy smile, "Take good care of him,"

"PIIII," Phoenix let out a happy shriek and flew upwards, then started flying around in the air.

"Ku-Ku-Ku, I'm finally free of this damned bird, he and Turtle have burned most of my Sacred Collection, now I will only have to deal with this Stupid Buffoon," Roshi mumbled to himself while laughing maniacally.

Ignoring Roshi's mumbling, I looked at Turtle and was surprised to see that he was smiling and was looking at Phoenix flying around. I think Roshi is right on one point, otherwise, how can Turtle be completely unaware of whatever Roshi is mumbling while sitting on top of his back.

"PIII, PIII," Phoenix chirped and flew downwards, then came and landed on my shoulder.

"Piii," Phoenix chirped happily and rubbed his head on my cheek.

"Phoenix is saying, he is happy that he is finally free from this lowly old grumpy degenerate," Turtle explained,

"What did you say you chicken on fire..." Roshi yelled but as soon as he tried to move he lost his balance on the back of Turtle and fell face-first on the ground.

"Pii," Phoenix chirped and showed his tongue to Roshi.

"Arlic... help," Roshi said in a weak tone from the ground.

"Sure," I said and helped him get back on top of Turtle.

"Thanks," Roshi thanked me and sighed, "Gohan's house is located in a forest near Mount Paozu,"

"And to reach Mount Paozu you have to go North from my Island," Roshi explained.

"I see," I nodded and asked, "Do you need any help in going back to your Island,"

"No, I have some things I need to do before I leave this Island," Roshi said with a smile and blush.

'I can almost guess the things he wants to do,' I thought and then smiled, "If you say so,"

"NIMBUS," I turned around and yelled for my Nimbus.

[Whoosh] [Whoosh]

With the sounds of wind, my fluffy friend came from the sky and stopped in front of me.

"Come back soon, Arlic," Turtle cried.

"I'll come back as soon as I can," I replied to Turtle.

"I'll be back, Master," I said to Roshi with a smile.

"We'll wait for your return, Arlic," Roshi replied.

"Let's go, my friend," I said to Phoenix and then jumped towards Nimbus.

After getting on top of Nimbus, I looked at Roshi and nodded, and Roshi replied with a small smile. After giving my final goodbye, I sped my Nimbus towards Kame Island.

[10 Minutes Later]

After flying on Nimbus for around 10 minutes, I reached Kame Island.

"Hmm, Master Roshi said to go North from his Island, right Phoenix," I asked.

"Pii," Phoenix chirped and nodded.

"Alright," I said and looked towards the sky, "let's see the sun rises from the East,"

"Hmm, there, so that's East," I said while pointing towards the East direction, "And 90° right from the East is North, so we have to go in that direction,"

"Alright Nimbus we have to go in that direction with full speed, but first let me and Phoenix get ready," I said to Nimbus while patting him, and he wiggled in approval.

"Okay, Phoenix, lay down and make sure you hold on to me tight, Nimbus flies fast," I said to Phoenix, and he nodded.

Then Phoenix and I got in a good position and I signalled Nimbus to go.

"Piiiii/Yaaaaaay," Phoenix and I let out a happy shout, as Nimbus flew with full speed.

Okay, now that my journey towards Mount Paozu has begun, let's talk.

You must be curious about the Instinctual Movement Technique we saw previously, and you would be even more curious about what I copied from the Technique.

Well, for starters this technique requires a calm and empty mind, which I'm really curious how Roshi was able to pull off. Second, you need battle experience, because your body will need to move on its own, so it needs to know what to do in different situations. Although I have copied the Technique, I'm not sure whether I'll be able to pull it off straight away. However, what made me happy about learning this technique was that, when Whis saw Roshi use this technique for the first time, he mentioned that Roshi was the closest human being to master the Ultra Instinct, what he lacked was only training.

So for now I have decided to focus on training my mind while getting more battle experience.

Oh, by the way, this is going to be my first meeting with Goku, I don't know how that monkey brain will react when he will meet me for the first time. But I know that I'm not going to let him pat my crotch to check my gender, I swear to Kami that if he tries to do it, I'll punch him so hard that even his past Saiyan memories will come back.

Oh, and here's a fun fact for you guys who have not read or seen Dragon Ball. Chi-Chi married Goku because Goku checked her gender the very same way I just mentioned. It happened when Chi-Chi and Goku were on their way to Roshi to borrow the Bansho Fan. Goku did his iconic pat on the crotch, and this way poor Chi-Chi was defiled, so then Chi-Chi made a promise of marriage with Goku, who at that time was unaware of what a marriage was.

It's Age 744, so I think he's going to be around 8-9 years old. Gohan should still be alive, as I have read that he died 2 years before the canon started, so I'll have the opportunity to meet him.

[1 Hour Later]

After flying for an hour, I was finally able to see mountains I was sure were part of Mount Paozu. I waited until we reached an area with small hills rather than the big mountains as I knew Gohan's house was situated outside on the foot of Mount Paozu.

I decreased the speed of Nimbus and said to Phoenix, "I think we have reached the forest near Mount Paozu, Phoenix,"

"Pii," Phoenix chirped and nodded.

"Okay, so let's start searching for Mr Gohan's house," I said to Phoenix and directed Nimbus towards the area where the forest was thin.

[15 Minutes]

It took me around 15 minutes to find the iconic small hut where Gohan lives. The house is a small hut-like structure with a blue tower-like roof.

And just a couple of feet away from the house Gohan was cutting some blocks of wood. Gohan is a short old man with small dark eyes with a bushy white moustache and eyebrows. He wears a Chinese martial artist uniform, which consists of a sleeveless orange jacket over a long-sleeved black shirt, and on top of his bald head, he wears a green hat.

I directed my Nimbus towards the ground just 10 meters away from the house. As the Nimbus reached the ground Phoenix flew up, and I jumped off the Nimbus.

The noise my Nimbus made gained Gohan's attention, so he stopped his work and curiously looked towards me landing on the ground.

"Hmm, who are you, little guy," Gohan asked me as he walked towards me.

"Hello, Sir, my name is Arlic," I introduced myself, with a bow.

"Are you Mr Gohan, student of Master Roshi," I inquired.

"Yes, I am," Gohan replied with a nod, and then asked with a smile, "Are you here to learn Martial Arts from me,"

I chuckled and replied, "No Sir, Master Roshi has sent me here to retrieve the Power-Pole from you,"

"Master sent you," Gohan exclaimed in surprise.

And to surprise Gohan even more, Phoenix came flying down and sat on my shoulder.

"Oh, isn't that Master's Phoenix," Gohan said as he recognised the Bird, "I see as Phoenix is with you it is confirmed that Master has sent you here,"

Gohan walked near me and stopped a foot away, then started patting Phoenix, "How are you little friend, we have met after a long time,"

"Pii," Phoenix chirped and rubbed his head on Gohan's hand.

"Are you Master's new student," Gohan asked me with a smile.

"Yes, Mr Gohan, I'm Master Roshi's new student," I replied.

"It's okay, I have a grandson the same age as you, you should call me Grandpa," Gohan said and patted my head.

"Okay, Grandpa," I said with a small laugh.

"Ho-ho-ho, why don't we have a cup of tea while we talk," Gohan said and gestured at the side of his house.

I nodded and then followed him to the right side of his house. At the side of his house, a fire pit was made there for cooking, near the fire pit there was a wooden bench to sit on. Gohan gestured for me to sit while he went inside his house to retrieve the pot and tea leaves. Phoenix flew and went to sit on the branch of a nearby tree, and I decided to help Gohan and started arranging some pieces of wood in the fire pit.

"Oh, aren't you such a nice kid," I heard the voice of Gohan from behind.

Gohan put the items down and came to help me in arranging the wood properly. He then picked up the flintstones to burn the fire.

"Wait, Grandpa, I can use magic to burn the wood," I stopped Gohan from using the flintstones.

"Oh, that's convenient," Gohan said with a chuckle.

I used magic to create the fire, and Gohan hung the pot on the fire pit, then Gohan and I both went to the wooden bench and sat down.

"So, Master has sent you to retrieve the Power-Pole from me," Gohan asked me.

"Yeah, Lord Kami has decided to train me on the Lookout and to reach the Lookout I need the Power Pole," I replied.

"Hooah, Lord Kami, you mean God is real," Gohan asked in surprise.

"He-he, yeah, kind of," I replied with a chuckle, "Lord Kami is the Guardian of Earth, he has the responsibility to protect our world from danger,"

"You can consider him as the God who takes care of our world," I explained.

"Oh, I see," Gohan chuckled, "I was just thinking of creating a shrine to pray,"

"Oh, you don't have to, Lord Kami doesn't like that," I replied.

"Hmm, so, tell me Arlic, how was your training with Master," Gohan asked me.

"It was good, I learned lots of things from Master," I replied.

"Tell me did he make you read his Favourite Magazines," Gohan asked.

"Ah, no, he didn't, I already knew how to read, so we skipped the basics," I replied with an awkward smile.

"Ho-ho-ho, is that so," Gohan said with a laugh.

"GRANDPA, I'M BACK," I heard a shout from afar.

"Hmm, it seems my little Goku is back," Gohan said looking at the road coming towards his house.

"Goku?" I asked.

"Yeah, Goku is my Grandson, he went hunting," Gohan explained.

I nodded and then looked towards the road too. A second later, I saw a cloud of dirt rising as a dead pig was being pulled by a small kid.
