Higher ups of the invaders

Outside of planet Edrichrio, a massive fearsome-looking battleship kept suspended in space as if it was a piece of stationary meteorite.

Ordinary people would be able to see the battleship simply by looking in its direction because the battleship was being concealed by a powerful invisibility formation.

Dozens of purple-skinned creatures with horns and tails could be seen working tirelessly outside, they drew strange runes on the transparent energy barrier that protected planet Edrichrio which protected the planet from invasion; one could see the energy barrier slowly evaporating whenever a rune was drawn on it.

Currently, inside the invisible battleship, five figures can be seen seated around a rough table inside the control room of the battleship.

These five figures had similar demon forms and purple skins to the ones that were forming runes outside, the differences between them were their heights and horns.

While those creatures outside had one or two twisted horns and were easily twice the size of full-grown men, these five had three horns and were only the height of normal people. Still, they looked more scary than their fellow demons who were bigger than them.

"¢¥¥§ æñø"

"...."

The five of them conversed in strange languages that people with a single tongue would find difficult to pronounce.

(So I will just translate their gibberish)

" We received a report that another cosmos bearer has appeared in Edrichrio"

" Seriously? Just what sort of monsters are in this place? I suddenly don't feel safe coming here anymore"

" What do you mean? This place is the best place, two cosmos bearers appeared in a hundred thousand years, no wonder the lord was drawn to this planet"

" Sadly, that Vee kid died mysteriously before we could break through into their planet, who knew another cosmos bearer would suddenly appear?"

" I don't believe he is dead though, someone like him can't die just like that"

" Of course, stupid! Why do you think we are still here and have not left long ago? He is someone who is on par with the lord and even the five of us can't take him on, do you think such a person can easily die?"

" Good thing Alucard somehow appeared inside the planet through one of those dungeons, his organization is a great source of information"

" Indeed, now we are confident of getting another cosmos bearer even if that Vee kid is really dead. The lord just needs to absorb his cosmos origin so he can move to the next level, by then even if that Vee kid was in hiding, he would be no match for the lord!"

They continued to converse amongst themselves.

Turned out that these five were the higher-up members of their race, below only the Lord who was at the same strength as Vee of the northern continent.

They had personally come to oversee this mission since it was extremely important to their race. Their lord had been stuck in the same realm for over ten thousand years, despite being the strongest of their race, the lord was not satisfied and still wished for more power.

He later discovered that to move to the next realm, he needed to find a cosmos bearer and absorb their cosmos origin; a cosmos bearer was someone who was favored by the cosmos and had two abilities

This led them to discover Edrichrio after one of their high-ranking members, Alucard, who was only below the lord and these five, found himself inside a strange realm and ended up in Edrichrio.

Alucard had been stronger than Vee of the northern continent when he arrived at the planet but did not have any way to bring their lord over or take Vee away, he also did not dare to hurt Vee for fear of what the Lord might do to him.

He later established an organization of evil people to monitor Vee and cause problems for him to hinder his growth while he found a way to contact his planet and inform them of the news.

Years passed and he finally found a way to reach out to his home but Vee's speed of getting stronger had scared him almost to death that he had ordered the people in his organization to stay away for fear of being found.

A lot of events occurred and they were currently here, trying to capture the new cosmos bearer since the old one was now as dangerous as their lord and had mysteriously disappeared.

"This new cosmos bearer is much better, how long till those fishes break through the energy barrier around the planet?"

"A few more years, if things go as planned, it will be broken through in 80 to 100 years. And what is a fish?"

" A fish is something that humans eat, stupid"

" Ohh, I wonder what a fish looks like"

" We can tell Alucard to bring some for you to see next time. Also, let his people inform him that… he better not make the same mistake with this cosmos bearer, else, I'll have his head"

" Ptui, you tell him that yourself!"

" Are you disobeying me? Remember the lord put me in charge of this mission, do you want me to tell the lord that you have been looking at his son?"

" Fine, I'll do it! Just shut up and mind your business"

A new day came, this was their second day as students of Royal Magic Academy.

They had almost stayed past the time limit set by the academy because of Damian dragging them around the academy all afternoon and even till it was only a few minutes before 10p.m

He had only left them alone after Gustavo abandoned them and ran away to his lodge Area, not bothering to even turn back when Damian and the others called out to him.

Damian had afterward lost interest in the others and left, letting the others go to their respective lodges in relief.

"What a yesterday!" Vee heard someone sigh the instant he walked into the class. Turned out the person was Helen who had dark circles under her eyes as she stared around the classroom with dreamy eyes.

"What happened to you?" Vee asked, surprised at how Helen reminded him of a certain ghost he had encountered when he was still a supreme-rank mage.

"Oh, it's you, Vee. Good morning. Barely made it in time for the hoverbus to arrive so I haven't eaten breakfast yet, would you and Alex mind joining me for lunch?" Helen said sluggishly with her head slightly bubbling.
