After arriving at a random abandoned construction sight I set down my backpack and pull out the kitchen knife that I had laying on the counter. I sigh while gazing at the blade, sighing as if the blade was a lost memory from long ago.
Staring mindlessly at the blade I lost track of my own thoughts, wandering from gruesome bloodshed to the scraping of metal against rock. It was calming in a way. Almost reassuring.
After regaining conscience of my surroundings I swing the knife, following the motion a loud sound of wind was heard. Looking ahead It seemed that the plywood in front of me was sliced directly in half. A clean cut, looking as if it was cut by a wood saw.
"This isn't possible." I was in disbelief of my own power. I knew I was strong, but not this strong. I could only imagine what my speed would look like. Wait, why was I only now exposed to this strength, why did the giants choose now to show me my powers. DAMN IT, IM SO STUPID. WHY WOULDN'T I QUESITON HIM MORE. NOW IM LEFT WITH SO MANY QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED. "UWAAGGGH", I let out a huge roar.
An extremely loud scream passed by everyone's house late at night. Waking up many mad civilians. Due from the scary idea of a mob of old people running after him Max was not just going to stand here and wait to be eaten alive by those monsters.
Running as fast as he could Max realized that he was moving at godly speeds surpassing some cars that were driving late at night, confusing all who saw him. At home He quietly made his way up the stairs while trying his best to avoid creaking one of the steps, letting out a quiet sigh of relief he slumped down in his bed and went to bed faster than he could hope to have school over with.
(ooo0ooo)
Getting woken up by his mom in the morning Max got ready and quickly left the house on his bike. Arriving at school he once again repeated putting his bike on the bike rack and went to his locker to grab his books while seeing Magne and Laurits grabbing their books as well.
Overhearing the conversation between Isolde and Saxa he made his way into the conversation by saying, "You mind if I come. I've always wanted to see the glaciers." Confusing Isolde and everyone else she says hesitantly at first but slowly crept a smile on her face, "Sure, why not. The more the merrier. Any other takers?" "No no. Our parents are gone so were just gonna stay in town and have the place to ourselves." Fjod replies quickly. Isolde said no more and went back to the classroom.
"Good morning class, today we'll be talking about the subject..." After school was over Max made his way home smiling. Not because something good had happened, he was just smiling. No reason to it. It was odd, he felt a lot more better about himself, in more ways then one. It felt like everything was right, he made new friends, received insane powers, and moved to a new town. Nothing could possible ruin his happiness.
Driven by this new burst of happiness Max rode his bike once again back to the same construction sight and started to work out. A fun fact about Max is that he has never in his whole life worked out, It was a new topic to him. Of course he knew how to, but he never actually learned how to properly work out.
After thinking this he instantly looked up a tutorial video on his phone about how to workout. A whole bunch of things were introduced, protein, carbs, diet, and so much more. After processing all of the information Max started to build his foundation, he read that a lot of people start out their journey by skipping important parts of the body like, the legs, traps, shoulders, pecks, etc.
Max was going to start right by doing a full body workout every single time he worked out. It would be torturous to normal humans but Max had insane stamina and strength. Your probably thinking 'Why does he need to work out if he already has insane stamina and strength?' and to that I have one answer, his body. Having these insane powers does not give you the body of a Greek god so therefore He'll build his body from the start.
Realistically the tearing of his muscles will take longer due to the increased strength so he would receive the body of someone who had intense training over a few years but would only take him the time of a week or two of full body training. With the increased regeneration of becoming a giant he could continuously train multiple days without having to take breaks for the muscles to repair.
With that said he started training, and training, and...training, and...training. Until sunrise he trained, and as so he would repeat this training everyday since then. His energy was sufficient for however long he needed be.
After such training he took a shower at his house and went to school like usual. When school was over, instead of going home he went with Isolde and Magne to climb the mountain. In advance he brought an extra backpack to school that carried all the equipment he would need when hiking the mountain.
"You guys ready?" Isolde asked. In which me and Magne replied in unison, "Sure."
Meanwhile-
(Vidar POV)
"Yes, Yes I'll deal with it tomorrow right now I'm going to offer a sacrifice to the giants." On the phone Vidar replies to his wife while driving up his mountain. The wheels made a nice smooth sound over the perfectly paved road. Along with the sunset and snowy mountains it was quite the peaceful drive.
Enjoying himself Vidar played some demonic type of heavy metal in which brought a smile to his face. Odd that he would enjoy such heavy metal in a peaceful area like the mountains, completely mismatching the synergy. He continued driving until he reached a small parking lot marked with the words 'Private Property'.
He parked his car and started to undress himself while putting each clothing on a rock. When fully naked he stood on a rock and watched down upon a pack of deer before jumping onto one and snapping its neck. He watched as the deer lost the life in its eyes. After killing it he took out its heart and quickly ran to an insanely large rock that hung over a huge empty drop. He took a deep breath before closing his eyes and after he opened them again he took a huge bite out of the deer's heart. When his eyes opened the only thing you could see was gold. Gold endlessly deep eyes.
