Raven nodded solemnly as she listened to Travis's request. "I understand your concerns, Travis," she replied, her violet eyes showing empathy. "The Titan Tower is a secure location. I'll teleport your family there to keep them safe."
With a wave of her hand, a dark portal opened, and Travis's family was gently transported to the Titan Tower, where they appeared in a flash of mystical energy.
Raven turned her attention to Batwoman, whose injuries were still causing her pain. With a few incantations, she channeled her magic, mending the wounds and reducing the pain. Kate let out a sigh of relief as the pain subsided.
"Thank you," Kate said gratefully, looking at Raven, "Your control has improved."
"Constantine has been helping me. I can help others without losing control," She said with a smile, happy to see the wounds disappear.
"I see, so he found a new student, huh?" Kate replied as she started to put on her bat costume, "So, what's the plan?"
"We have discovered a dead Xenomorph queen. Someone killed it. According to Cyborg's scans, the aliens are connected to their queen. Now that the queen is dead, but the aliens are still rampaging, he concluded that another alien must have taken its place," Raven continued, "But our scanner isn't good enough to track it down. Even Cyborg couldn't figure out anything. This alien race is too advanced in technology and their biological form is unlike anything we have ever seen."
Kate's eyes went toward Travis who was talking with his family.
"Yeah," Raven nodded, "He is the only one who can track it, or at least I hope that he can..."
Meanwhile, Travis was having a conversation with his family in the safety of the Titan Tower. Max, Lily, Emma, Sarah, and his parents looked both relieved and worried. He had explained the situation as best as he could, leaving out the more explicit details of his recent encounter with Alison.
"You take care of yourself out there, son," Andrew patted his shoulder with a smile.
Travis nodded with gratitude, appreciating his father's support. "I will, Dad. It's time to end this nightmare."
Lara hugged him tightly, "You must come back safely, you understand. I lost my son once, I don't want to lose you again."
Travis returned his mother's embrace, feeling her warmth and love. "I promise, Mom. I'll do everything I can to come back safely, for all of you."
"Woff... Wooff..." Max barked happily as he wagged his tail rapidly. Travis knelt down and petted his head affectionately.
"You take care of them for me, Max," He instructed seriously, and Max barked in response, showing that he understood. "Good boy..."
Emma and Lily thanked him once again for saving them and told him to be careful.
Alison hugged him and whispered in his ears, "I will be waiting for that threesome."
He chuckled, "Don't worry, auntie, we will continue where we left off once this mess is over~"
Sarah approached him. He held her hands together.
"Be safe, Travis," Sarah whispered lovingly.
He kissed her forehead, "Don't worry, I will return soon. You know how strong I am~" He flexed his muscles.
She smiled, "I know, but still, you are risking your life for everyone. Can you blame me for worrying?"
He smiled back reassuringly, "No, I can't," He caressed her cheeks lovingly before kissing her passionately. Everyone watched them with mixed expressions on their faces. Some were surprised, some were embarrassed, while some simply smiled, enjoying the scene. "I will be back before you know it," He promised after breaking the kiss.
Sarah nodded happily, "You better," She replied with a mischievous grin.
"We have to go," Raven opened a portal.
"She isn't coming?" He looked toward Kate.
Raven shook her head negatively, "She will stay here, just in case..."
Travis nodded understandingly as he waved goodbye to everyone and followed Raven into the portal.
Kate stood alone as the portal closed. She looked at Max, "Hey boy, wanna join me?"
Max barked in agreement and wagged his tail happily. "Wooof!"
"Alright, let's take a look around the tower. it's been ages since I visited here," Kate suggested cheerfully as she looked toward the rest of them, "Come on, I will show you around."
Everyone agreed enthusiastically as they followed Kate throughout the Titan Tower. Max stayed close to Lara, wagging his tail happily.
[Justice League's safehouse]
Travis followed Raven through the dark portal, emerging in a high-tech facility. It was the Justice League's safehouse, a place he had only heard about in the news. As he stepped into the main chamber, his eyes widened at the sight of the assembled heroes.
Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and several other iconic figures from the Justice League stood before him, along with members of the Titans, including Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Starfire.
Superman, with his chiseled jaw and iconic red and blue suit, stepped forward, extending a hand to Travis, "You must be Travis Evans. I'm Superman. It's an honor to meet you."
Travis shook Superman's hand, "Honor?"
"I saw you fighting those xenomorphs around the city. Thanks to you, I was able to cover the other parts without worrying about the northern districts," Superman praised him sincerely.
"Oh, that... You are welcome..." Travis replied awkwardly, unused to being complimented by one of the greatest heroes in the world.
Wonder Woman greeted him next, "It is truly an honor to meet you, warrior of Earth. Superman tells me you are good with swords. I have prepared a special sword for you." She handed Travis a sword with a black blade. The blade seemed to absorb light, making it almost impossible to detect. It felt light, yet sturdy in his grip.
"This is the Night Blade, forged from the Amazonian metal, Nth metal," Wonder Woman explained proudly, "Only an honorable warrior can wield it."
Travis swung the blade a few times, testing its weight and balance. His eyes widened as he noticed something strange about the Nth metal. It absorbed kinetic energy with each swing. After a few swings, it felt almost weightless in his hands, making it perfect for someone with superhuman strength like himself.
"Interesting... Let's see..." He focused on the sword and used his Summon Quirk to summon a replica of Night Blade. "You can have yours back. I will be fine with this one."
"A copy skill?" Batman inquired curiously.
Travis nodded, "Hey there... It's been a while."
"You know him?" Aquaman asked Batman curiously.
Batman nodded, "Yeah, we have met once."
"Anyway, how about we stop the small talks and get on with the business? Where is this giant dead xenomorph?" Travis inquired impatiently as he looked at everyone.
Raven nodded at his eagerness and with a swift gesture, she opened another dark portal. This time, it led them to the side where they had discovered the dead Xenomorph queen.
The gruesome sight greeted them as they arrived. The lifeless body of the massive Xenomorph queen lay sprawled across the debris-strewn ground. Its elongated head and jagged teeth made it clear how dangerous this creature had been. Travis couldn't help but feel a shiver run down his spine as he gazed at the dead monstrosity.
'Dang! This is a freaking 5 meters monster!' Travis gulped nervously as he examined the dead Xenomorph queen closely. 'Is it possible to beat such a monster? Just what kind of monster killed this freak?' It was unlike anything he had ever seen before, much less fought against. He couldn't help but wonder who was strong enough to slay this beast.
The green and purple blood stained the ground below the body of the queen, pooling beneath her remains.
"I guess the purple blood belongs to the one that killed this queen, but the question is how did you know I have a tracking skill?" He turned toward Raven, "I don't remember using it before. So how did you know?"
"Premonition," Raven shrugged her shoulders, "It seems that I have inherited something from my father. Sometimes I see certain images, most of which make no sense, but there were rare instances that I got visions about future events, especially important events that will have a great impact on the universe."
"Is that how you saved Sarah?" He inquired curiously.
Raven nodded, "Yes, that was one of the visions."
Travis eyed her thoughtfully as he absorbed this information, "Are you sure that's all?"
Raven nodded once again, "For now."
"That's good enough for me. You have no idea what I would have done had something happened to Sarah. I owe you a big one. I will help fix this shitty alien mess," He turned toward the dead xenomorph and focused on her.
'Activate System's Scanner,' Travis thought internally as he activated his tracking skill. He wasn't sure what information the scan would give him, or even if it would work at all.
