Marriage, hurt and hate

William was waiting with Jackson, Adam, and Nisa in the middle of the altar along with a priest.

Close relatives who were guests and witnesses to the wedding between William and Rose already looked impatient because the wedding time was delayed by several hours due to the delay of William and Rose who arrived in the afternoon unexpectedly.

Not long after that Jane stood on the stairs holding Rose and slowly walked down the stairs together.

Rose didn't know what strange feeling she had, but she felt her heart pounding. That's how nervous he felt when she stepped closer to the altar, which was beautifully decorated like a gazebo in the middle of heaven with white roses combined with pink roses.

The gazebo is located in the back garden past the ballroom.

The first thing William realized was the beauty of Rose, her beauty surpassed the beauty of the fresh flowers that adorned the decorations of the wedding party.

"Our Rose is so pretty." Heard Nisa's voice praising. William only glanced briefly then looked back at Rose who was getting closer to him.

Finally Rose was right in front of William, Jane gently handed Rose's hand to William and joined their hands.

"Take your bride," Jane said with a seductive smile, she realized that William wasn't blinking at Rose at this point.

Stunned, that's the right sentence to describe William at this time.

William then led Rose to the gazebo above the pond.

"You are beautiful but so tense, is it because you saw me so handsome tonight?" William's teasing whispered. He doesn't like the current nervous situation so he distracts him by teasing Rose and Rose eats the bait quickly.

Rose glanced sarcastically while replying to William, "Don't twist the facts. Who's fascinated here? Everyone can see clearly if you don't stop staring at me."

"Right, you are very beautiful and also provocative," William whispered again but this time his hand moved mischievously behind the web on Rose's head which covered Rose's smooth back and stroked it gently making Rose feel both ticklish and stiffen for a moment.

Jane's snort brought William to his senses and finally took out his hand.

Nisa and Adam are of course happy to see William who looks very much in love with their daughter while Jackson stares meaningfully.

The wedding vows start.

William and Rose's feelings turned blue again.

Rayhan was in Rose's mind while Gwen was in William's.

Moving haunts and messes up their feelings, which were originally relaxed, and now feel tense again.

When the promise started to start, Gwen suddenly disappeared from William's mind, the guilt also disappeared and was replaced by William's focus on making a promise to Rose.

Likewise with Rose, not sadness but a sense of emotion that for some reason she felt moved to hear William say marriage vows for her.

And when the word "Legitimate." Sounds and prayers are offered both William and Rose can't hold back their tears.

Wedding rings have been pinned on their ring fingers. Now William and Rose have officially become husband and wife.

Now the party begins, but not side by side they are in different places. William was busy with his relatives while Rose sat dreamily on the aisle thinking this heart should never have happened if she had not rejected Rayhan's proposal.

"Smile, you look like an unhappy woman on her wedding day," Nisa whispered to Rose who came to Rose with Adam.

"Couldn't agree more," Rose said unconcerned.

Rose was annoyed, Jane was so attentive to her while Nisa, her biological mother, was busy getting to know all of William's close relatives who attended this wedding.

And after the party lasted for about an hour then the two of them approached her.

There were no tears of emotion like parents to their married children, not even a word of advice, Rose was fed up with the attitude of her parents who were still concerned about themselves and their reputation.

"Don't embarrass us, now you two are officially married," Adam growled softly.

"I will make him divorce me no matter what," Rose said without hesitation and immediately stepped away from her parents who looked very annoyed with Rose's words.

William who was chatting with some of his relatives saw Rose coming out of the ballroom to the back garden which was quite quiet because all the guests chose to be inside considering the wind was blowing quite hard outside.

Without thinking, William then approached Rose and sat right next to her but before that, he took the time to open his coat to cover Rose's back.

"There are no stars tonight. Usually, the stars look very beautiful from here." Said William to open the conversation.

"What wound?" Asked Rose ignoring William's earlier words.

"Which wound? The one in your heart or mine?"

"Of course in your heart. Why would I ask you about my wound."

William was silent again, he didn't answer while Rose waited for William's answer.

"Why are you curious about the wound in my heart? You want to heal it?" William asked as he brought his face closer to Rose.

Rose turned her head without hesitation, a little awkward when she realized they were so close that Rose could feel William's warm breath hitting her face.

"If possible, I don't want to add to the wound."

"You're worried about me sounds like you're starting to fall in love with me," William said smiling before pulling back his face and directing his gaze to the sky that looked cloudy. He felt a little annoyed that Rose suddenly mentioned the wound in his heart.

"Does care always mean love?"

"If love is without care then it is not love." William snapped as he looked back at Rose closely, giving him a sharp look full of displeasure.

"Don't take care of my wound if you don't want to be hurt too. Just take care of your heart, I could break it anytime." William said before getting up and leaving Rose.

"Then I will continue to hate you!" Rose shouted who also got up and made William's steps stop.

William then smiled but his eyes were so sharp with anger that Rose's body trembled with fear.

"Hate me as much as you want!" He said before walking away leaving Rose alone.

Rose could only sigh in annoyance, if William was so happy to get hate from her then why did this marriage have to happen?

....

"The fight on the first night. Sounds interesting, I like it when you get hurt more." Jackson said right when William stepped past him of course Jackson was alone because he dared to say things that hurt William because they were both famous for being harmonious in public

William's steps certainly stopped, then William could feel Jackson standing next to him and embracing him with a glass of wine in his hand.

"I thought all the girls in this world would fall in love with my handsome and perfect son but there are also women who can hate you. I like her, she is my ideal daughter-in-law." Jackson said laughing happily.

"You forget Gwen so easily, I thought you loved that sick girl very much." Connect Jackson.

"Don't talk like you know me very well. Remember that I'm not your son."

"That's true, then what do you want? Telling everyone that you are just an adopted child?"

"Then I just have to say that this perfect son of mine threw away the old me and wouldn't acknowledge me. You are so cruel, son!"

William clenched his teeth, holding back the annoyance that kept Jackson luring out.

"You destroyed my orphanage. I will kill you if it turns out that you abandoned my brother all this time." William said four days he disappeared at that time just to find out where he moved to the orphanage where he used to live which turned out to be a shopping center owned by Alexander Co. Of course it was all Jackson's fault.

Hearing William's threat, Jackson laughed again, "You still haven't met your brother? It turns out that I'm overestimating you. With what you have I think you've already met." He said disparagingly.

"I'll give you one hint, he hated you so much and now he hates you twice as much," Jackson said in a whisper before leaving William alone who could only clench his fists and growl in annoyance.
