You can tell me the truth

"Leah?! You know I don't like to be bothered by other people in my room. Nor do I like to be disturbed without permission." She looked at her disapprovingly.

"I know and I'm deeply sorry." Lady Leah whispered, her voice more subdued than usual.

"What's the matter?" Aria asked her, her eyes wide and expectant of the answer Lady Leah would give.

She clasped her hands and with a small, nervous smile said, "It's the first time I have seen you so happy."

"Who, me?" Aria pointed at herself, her eyes widen, her cheeks turning a shade of red.

"I don't see who else I'm speaking with but you." Lady Leah said, as she searched Aria's face.

Aria's brow furrowed, she was confused for a moment. "I thought I was happy." She said.

Lady Leah shook her head at Aria's lack of understanding. "You are happy but there is someone else you are happy for, some aloof, handsome and kind young man." Lady Leah said, her eyes still fixed on Aria's like a hawk on its prey.
