The earth is waking up day by day.
Several clusters of green grass are heading out of the brown ground, while more and more trees in the forest are growing new leaves on their branches. Some birds start to fly and sing through the bush and I can occasionally catch small animals digging out new burrows under the woods.
Spring is coming.
The more social and sexual behaviours of those animals in spring bring another aspect of a mysterious but important thing to my mind: oestrus, also known as the heat period.
Do beasts have oestrus? When?
"Our heat time depends on you, LuLu."
Kruger's response didn't answer the question but made me more confused, "What do you mean it depends on me?"
"You know we are having a hard time staying close to you when you are in your ovulation time, right? Actually, to some extent, that's our oestrus day, too."
