Torn Apart

Thirteen watched as the door shut and turned his head away, looking at the ground silently. Zoro looked at Thirteen and patted his shoulder a few times, sighing and turning his head away.

Robin frowned and looked at the crew around her. They were so upset, even if they didn't show it, it was obvious. Though she didn't show it…

She was quite upset about everything too…

Maybe even SHE didn't know about her own feelings…

Nami turned around and shouted "Luffy! Are you just gonna sit there?! You're not even going to go after him!?" Luffy was silent and Nami ran out of the room, shouting "Usopp! Wait!" Sanji and Chopper went after her.

Only Thirteen, Zoro, Robin, and Luffy were left in the galley… White was there too.

Luffy stood up and walked to the door, he pressed his hand on it and stopped, looking back at the other three. Thirteen looked at him, Zoro nodded, and Robin just smiled calmly.

Luffy nodded and walked out to the deck.

Thirteen walked out after him with White on his shoulder.

Zoro looked at Robin, who got up and walked out after Thirteen with Zoro following behind her.

Luffy stood behind Nami, looking out to the Shipyard as Usopp stopped and screamed to the sky "MONKEY D. LUFFY!" he turned around and pointed at Luffy, adding "10 O'CLOCK TONIGHT! WE'LL FIGHT FOR THE MERRY! YOU AND ME!"

Luffy was silent as Usopp walked away.

Nami covered her mouth as her eyes watered, Sanji shook in disbelief, Chopper cried, Luffy had a straight face, Zoro turned his head away, Robin stared off into the distance, and Thirteen watched Usopp walk away.

White stared at Usopp before his ears flopped down.

Thirteen turned around and went into the cabin. He walked to his room and grabbed his backpack, leaving the box of gold and his clothes in the room, taking only his few things that were in his backpack already.

They were the earrings, the daggers, the devil fruits, and the book.

He pulled the backpack along and appeared on the deck once again.

The crew looked at him and Nami asked "What are you doing?" Thirteen pointed at the ship and then at himself, then to the city. Nami frowned and Zoro nodded, agreeing, "He's right. We should pack now if we're going to leave the ship here."

The rest of the crew was silent before slowly going to pack their things, leaving cargo and clothes on the ship.

Then they sat on the deck and waited for Usopp to show up…

A while later

It was 10.

Usopp appeared in the distance and walked over with a determined expression as Luffy stood in front of the Merry with his arms crossed. He turned his head slightly and his pupils tightened as he declared "Stay on the ship."

The rest of the crew nodded with serious expressions, looking out to the distance at Usopp.

Robin stood next to Thirteen and asked "Do you think Long Nose-kun has a chance?" Thirteen shook his head and sat on the railing of the Merry, watching the fight.

Usopp shot out special balls he created, using his creativity and own mechanical skills to fight Luffy. To give him credit his shots were extremely accurate. He wasn't even a millimeter off.

Luffy dodged to the side and punched Usopp in the stomach, sending him to the ground. As Usopp flew, he threw a handful of beads that exploded into gas and spikes.

Luffy covered his face with his arms and Usopp shot a fire bead at the gas, blowing everything up.

A huge fireball appeared where Luffy was as the crew gasped.

The fireball scattered and Luffy was revealed to have a few cuts and bruises.

He took a step forward and threw his arm back, whipping it forward as he shouted with intense eyes "BULLET!"

Luffy's face slammed into Usopp's stomach and made him spit out blood as he fell to his knees and slumped to the ground.

Luffy pulled his hat down and muttered "You knew you couldn't beat me…" he turned around and walked towards the Merry, adding heavily "You can have the Merry. This is goodbye, Usopp."

Chopper cried and jumped but Sanji grabbed him saying "You can't go!" Chopper turned into human point and roared "HE NEEDS HELP!" Sanji punched him in the face and shouted "How do you think he'll feel if his enemy treated his wounds! Think about Usopp!"

Chopper cried and returned to normal, slumping to the deck.

Luffy came back to the Merry and said solemnly "Let's go."

Thirteen hopped off the ship with White on his shoulder, landing next to Luffy. He looked at Luffy, who had a shadow covering half his face. The lower half had tears coming down, dripping to the ground.

Thirteen reached out and his hand paused before firmly patting Luffy's shoulder.

Luffy tensed up and looked at Thirteen, who was looking at him with a light in his eyes. His expression was blank but his eyes conveyed his meaning. Though it was extremely faint and weak, it was there.

Luffy looked at Thirteen's eyes and smiled weakly to him.

Zoro landed in front of Luffy and said seriously "This is the weight of a captain. You can't falter. If you do, who will keep us together?" Luffy wiped his eyes and nodded, Zoro patte Luffy's shoulder and walked away.

Thirteen followed him and Robin landed on the ground, passing Luffy, adding "I believe in you, Captain-kun." Sanji walked by, nodding at Luffy silently, Chopper landed on the ground and looked up at Luffy with watery eyes.

Luffy looked away and Chopper ran to Usopp, holding in his tears.

Finally, Nami stopped in front of Luffy.

He looked up and met her watery eyes, she didn't say anything and stepped forward, hugging him and silently crying on his shoulder. Luffy stood there and his lips trembled, he bit them and patted her back before saying quietly "Let's go."

She let go and nodded as they turned around, walking away from the shipyard with the rest.

Chopper left medical supplies in front of Usopp and ran away, crying.

They left Usopp at the shipyard with heavy hearts as they got a hotel in the city.

Things happened, life didn't stop because they encountered obstacles…
