“Would you like to order the Fire-Breathing Potion or the Potion of Haste, sir? We mix them with Alcohol too!” In a world of Levels, Magic and Classes, being an Alcoholic wasn’t really a good choice. And yet this is a story of a Drinker-turned-Bartender-turned-Hero of his own. Please remember to avoid bar fights… unless the bartender starts them himself. This the tale of where it all began, along with other shenanigans! —-—- This can be a stand-alone book or be read with Races: Online (VR Smartphone App) “Owen Liddell... How do I begin to explain Owen Liddell?” Lyra the Thief: He is flawless. Cleric Jeanne: He has two magical wands and an invisibility potion. Han Jing: I hear that the man is worth more than 100,000 gold coins! Nire Summers: I hear he’s a Professor... in Kraelonia Academy. High Mage Ylena: His favorite drink is my pepper-blue tea. Wizard Lavelda: One time he met the King on a carriage... Swordsman Uriel: —And the King told him that he wanted to catch a drink sometime! Bleu the Shadow Elf: One time I punched him in the face... it was awesome.

Chapter 1What's All The Buzz?

[ Welcome To Potion Bar System! ]

[ Head To The Next Chapter To Arrive Directly At The Bar ]

[ Stay For The Rumors And Gossips ]

Instructions unclear. Rumors abound.

There was a known 'unknown' place that had good cause for one to visit. If you knew how to head there at a specific time and happened to know the right people then you were bound for a treat. You'd gain access to a place where both law-abiding citizens and men of afoul backgrounds could stay together for a drink and do it in peace. No enmity between them.

At least until one stepped outside.

However, trying to find a reliable source of information about the place was like throwing a needle into a haystack. Or perhaps, finding a piece of hay in a pile of sharp needles was the more apt term. If you ever managed to catch wind of a wondrous place, actually trying to find the truth between the rumors was a guessing game.

"There's a bar where you can drink and forget all about your worries."

"I mean, don't all bars do the same?"

"Buddy, when I say forget. Forget-Forget. You'd wake up and then you won't even remember who you are and then you'd probably head into some adventure of self discovery or maybe you'd get hired as a Bodyguard or something and take out some evil government."

"What the heck are you talking about?"

"I heard you need to head there once every blue moon, and yes, I know what that means—"

"Once you take a drop, you can't back out anymore! It's like you've drunk the best liquor in your life, and everything doesn't taste the same anymore."

"Here's the thing, don't drink anything or else you won't be able to go out. Simple as pie."

"Do they serve food too?"

"If you end up telling your life story—you're a goner, boy. You already sold your soul."

"The Bartender is a Demon."

"I thought he was something close to like a handsome Elf." Someone sighed dreamily.

"Are you even sure that it's a guy?"

"No, we're not talking about the Djinn's Divine Drinks."

"Is it the one with the rabbit?"

Now it wasn't just the location that had its own fair share of rumors and secrets, even the owner itself was riddled with mystery and enigma. However, that would have to be for another day for any Adventurers trying to seek their luck. First and foremost, one had to exactly figure out where it was and then one can probably determine whether the rumors about the owner were true.

"Well, it is an underground bar."

"No, it's supposed to be hidden in the mountains, like the Endless Passes."

"No Names Allowed."

"You have to wear a mask—"

"No, you don't!"

"If you want a love potion? That's the place where you got to go."

"Mad Hatter's Emporium?"

"Alcohol, buddy."

"Nasty Pirate's Pub?"

"No, you guys don't even have a clue of its name do you?"

"Where is it?"

"It's super secret—can't just go sharing its location."

"You better check the Capital City of Gloria."

"Hell naw, it's somewhere else."

It would take everything you got to find the place… unless you happened to know a friendly and delightful Innkeeper and then some. Nire Summers stared at the travelers and scratched her head.

"Oh, so you're looking for a bar and not an inn—well, you know Wolfcrest Village? There's a small forest there and in between those two, you have to find a rock. Not just any rock, I mean—let's call it a huge boulder then. Like really huuuge, you probably won't miss it, although I tripped on it before."

She blushed.

"Don't look at me like that, but those are the directions and I guess you can say that you learned about the place through me, but the owner's going to get a bit mad...." The Innkeeper cleared her throat and waved her hands. "But he's actually a really good guy! He even made me juice!"

A small party of Adventurers, well, at least two of their members would stumble upon the bar after getting directions from said Innkeeper and after navigating through all of the treacherous misinformation that they gathered from the confusing crowd.

This would be the tale of a drinker-bartender-hero and then his bar.

—-—-

Author's Note: Hello there! If you chose to read this chapter instead of skipping—then you have my praise! Welcome to Potion Bar System, which is a spin-off to Races: Online (VR Smartphone App) featuring Owen Liddell. If you've read the first book, then you already know who he is and possibly the other characters.

The writing has improved here, I think!

Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Quinlan, a simple office worker finds himself transmigrated to an extremely dangerous fantasy land as a level 1 Commoner with nothing to his name but his wits - and a unique gift that accompanied his teleportation. No one in Thalorind could have predicted that this unassuming arrival would one day rise to the top, redefining the very meaning of the term 'power'... And that he may have achieved said result by joining a criminal organization and clawing his way through its ranks. In the beginning, Quinlan was painfully weak and alone but thanks to his severe trust issues, joining a team was... hard. However, he soon noticed that a lot of people have collars around their necks in this world... People that couldn't exactly betray him. Follow Quinlan's journey as he grows in strength, amasses wealth, fights to the death, and meets lovely ladies. ... Discord: https://discord.gg/bjunEkswQ3\ ... After writing over 750 chapters, here’s what you should know: 1. About the beginning: The early chapters are a bit rough. It was my first original novel, and I stumbled in some areas, especially with the MC's attitude. He's too reserved and occasionally too "simpy" with the first female lead. However, the MC grows into a confident, powerful, and composed figure. No long-term cringe. He becomes the kind of MC you want to root for. 2. Quinlan’s morality: He’s not a cruel, sadistic villain. Most of the time, he won't even be acting like a real villain, only when pushed to the limit. Meaning he won't torture puppies or civilians for fun while cackling manically. However, he’s greedy, shameless, and opportunistic. If the lives of his loved ones are at stake and he can only save them by burning a city with innocents inside down, he’ll do it. He's ruthless toward strangers when necessary, but doesn't delight in cruelty. 3. Regarding slaves: Yes, Quinlan becomes a slave master. However, he treats all his women—free or enslaved—with care and respect. 4. More than smut: Every love interest has a real story, a real presence. No girl will be left behind. As of Chapter 750, Quinlan has 7 lovers and a few more "in-development" love interests. This is not a "catch them all" story, adding one girl every 20 chapters. I prefer harems made up of girls with richly developed characters over giant harems full of shallow ladies. Quality over Quantity. 5. Balanced storytelling: My aim was to create a work where romance, action, and slice-of-life blend together naturally. There’s high-stakes action, power progression, romantic developments, comedy, and some chill downtime to let both the characters and the readers breathe. 6. Weak-to-Strong Progression: Quinlan will become OP. But he rises slowly, not overnight. His journey will hopefully feel earned. 7. Not every female character listed in the fandom is a love interest: Some women are important to the plot but are not part of the harem or a planned to be, such as his two mothers. 8. No Yuri. No NTR. That's it, thank you for taking your chance on my novel! I'll make a promise to you, showing how much I believe you'll love the novel if you get over the somewhat bumpy beginning! If you read 750 chapters and hate the story even after investing so much time into it, then you may burn me alive!

Hunter Academy: Revenge of the Weakest

What do the words Third-Rate Villain mean? Doesn't every human being possess their own background story? Just because a game hadn't explored one's background story, does it mean those characters are irrelevant? In a world where video games come to life, Astron Natusalune is introduced as a seemingly insignificant character—a third-rate villain with a minor role. However, this ordinary facade belies a haunting past that has shaped Astron into the vengeful soul he has become. Someone who would do everything for his vengeance. Armipotent

This is a work of fiction, any names, characters, stories or events, are fictitious! (Even the country in the story is just the author's fantasy as the author never visited those countries in the story) Armipotent is an archaic adjective meaning "strong in battle." Basically, it refers to someone who is physically tough in war. Originally, it was used to refer to the Roman god of war, Mars. ===================== Tang Shaoyang, an orphan who dropped out of the middle school to fight on the street as he found out school was useless for a penniless orphan like him. Tang Shaoyang dropped out of his school, fighting on the street, and made a name for himself. Berserker Tang from Youyouliucun. Afterward, Dragon Wing triad recruited him and everything was good for him. Even though the public deemed him as a tumor of society, Tang Shaoyang was having a decent life. Until one day, everything changed as an absurd and strange game started. "... Game starts! Stage one: Survival for The Fittest!" After the game started, zombies appeared out of nowhere. ... Ding! "You have killed 1000 zombies less than 24 hours since the game started! You gained 3 Talents!" Dong! "You may choose 3 Talents! please choose carefully!" Tang Shaoyang held his chin and mused what Talent he had to choose. "With Zombies appear everywhere, I need an infinite strength... this is one, I still need to choose 2 Talents more..." Then a lewd smile formed on his lips. "I want an infinite strength, charm and charisma to conquer women, and the last one, I want to upgrade my **** so I can please my women!" After saying this, Tang Shaoyang laughed aloud. "Hahaha, there's no way such talent exists... ehhhhh?!!!" Ding! Dong! "3 Talents are consumed! You have been granted Divine Body! Good Luck, Gamer Tang Shaoyang!" Tang Shaoyang immediately checked the detail of Divine Body. After a brief silence, he muttered unbelievably. "Such Talents really exist..." Note: I don't own the cover. If the creator wants me to take down the cover or put credit, please notify me by replying to my review at the Review section.

The sloshing liquid in the vial glows a beautiful blue—its properties unknown, only alluring and magnetic. It promised something exciting. How would it taste? What are its effects? Can you back out after taking a sip? To that I say, "Drink, Drink, Drink!" This story is a little different, a little familiar. Yes, it has its own gimmicks involving a Drinker wanting to be an Alchemist, and you already have an idea of the end... he becomes a Hero with a Bar. It's a tale as old as time. No doubt, this Author will put their own spin to it and flair, and one can only hope that you stick around for the final shot. The protagonist is already strong, but like all of us will commit errors in judgement. He's not perfect. He can be biased. He will be wrong even. There are different sides to him. He will get stronger. Quick Shots: > Writing Quality: Decent. Author runs it through Prowritingaid too. > Story Development: Slice-of-life mostly. But there is progression. We already know what happens at the end, except for the details :P > Character Design: Primary focus on the Protagonist, however there are times where other characters also shine. Multiple POV. > World Background: Shares the same world as 'Races: Online' (VR Smartphone App) so it is developed enough to enjoy with unique features inspired from The Wandering Inn and other LITRPGs. > Stability of Updates: Not insane updates. Initially slow, but it will be pretty stable unless Author takes 'writing breaks' too rest hands and wrists from strains of carpal tunnel. Won't drop though. Note: Will go 'Premium' in the future. However, I also plan to include a free story in the Auxiliary Chapters, which you can probably enjoy without it being locked in exchange for Power Stones.

good story.. good writing.... i like the how the chapters switch between the present and the past to show how the mc got to where he is. but i dont like the one sidedness the author puts on the mc.. what i mean by that is the way the author blocks out certain aspects of emotional realism to drive a narrative.. only at chapter 18 btw.. i will give you an example of what i mean.. the mc told forgot his names mother that her son was dead, but not long after he came back perfectly fine and so the mc naturally feels remorse, self blame and guilt now normally this would be fine and correct. but not at all in this situation maybe a little but no where near as heavy as it is shown even with his depression, anxiety and loss over his parents infact this combination of emotions over the loss of his parents would more likely push him to the opposite extreme of complete outrage, any the situation is the mother tells the mc that soso hasn't returned from the forest, so he goes out gets attacked by momsters and eventually arrives at a goblin camp where he finds the diary of the son being played with by a goblin, and the mc being the good risk his life just incase he might still be alive and also takes away the diary, which doing so alarmed the goblins.. so as this was happening the son had actually been paralyzed by a plant which is just as dangerous, any way the mc comes out of the forest all tattered and bloody.. well unless health potions fix clothes and clean blood stains but i doubt, he makes it to the inn. ps not a single person showing any reaction or concern to the mc btw and tells the mother that her son is dead which using all the information he has collected so far is 99 percent assured and any other logical person would come to the same conclusion since the forest is filled with wolves and goblins and the son is just a villager and then the son walks in.. and every freaks out and accuses the mc ecta you get the rest, now i would get if they blamed him in the moment but after it calmed down and they noticed his clothes and exhaustion which were plainly obvious, and if he the mc bothered to give the slightest explanation as to why he said the son was dead every one would forgive him, but he didnt but that can be explained as the mcs personality.. any way the villagers treated him as an outcast after this incident, which ok i can get sorta.. but what i don't get is why the mc dosnt even have the slightest outrage, annoyance or indignation at being treated like this, it literally makes zero sense the mc knows what he had to go through just to make sure he is okay and he knows the danger he put himself in just to get the guys diary. you may have some self blame at making the mother cry but that is it. it wouldnt be to such an extreme as the author writes it as, it really feels too forced and honestly makes the mc unlikable. but really this whole incidence is pretty forced no matter how ignorant the villagers are. but any way other than that the story and writing is good it is just the author forcing the mc to feel unrealistic emotions to drive a certain narrative that i dont like . sorry if this is a very run off review was tired when writing couldn't think properly and organise my words.
