Mission 3

Finally the weekend arrived and today was the day , he decided to do another mission and before he tore the tower pass , he called out his status :

After taking a look , Xavier sighed as there was no change in his attributes but only the good thing was both of his TM : Water Gun and TM : Bind were sold for 30,000 and 100,000 Blue dollars respectively.

Xavier then took out Tower pass from his Storage and tore it and in a matter of few seconds , his surroundings changed from that from his room to Cerulean Gym .

A pop-up appeared in front of Xavier, asking him whether he wanted to accept a mission or explore the Pokemon world. He chose to accept the mission, and a detailed description of the task materialized in front of him.

1. Win Cerulean Gym badge

2. Break into S.S.Anne and defeat the captain [ No use of ticket to get inside the ship ]

3. Defeat all the NPCs in Route 11

"This time the mission is more difficult!" Xavier thought .

So , without wasting his time , he first called out Abra and gave him Rare Candy which Abra ate happily and then after a few seconds , it started to shine .

When the shine subsided , Abra evolved into Kadabra . Xavier used Inspect on it .

Xavier then called back Kadabra and went inside the Gym. He saw there were 2 Junior Trainer and Misty , the gym leader was standing at the end .

He used Inspect on all of them and found that one of the Junior trainer has Horsea at level 16 and Shellder at level 17 and other Junior Trainer has Goldeen at level 19. As for Misty , she has Staryu at level 20 and Starmie at level 23.

Xavier then went towards one of the Junior trainer and challenged him for a battle and the battle commenced with the Jr. Trainer sending his horsea and Xavier sent his Kadabra .

The battle commenced with excitement in the air. The young trainer, Jr. Trainer, confidently sent out his Horsea, a small Water-type Pokémon, onto the field. Xavier, determined and ready for action, responded by sending out his Kadabra.

"Horsea, go! Show them your Water Gun!" commanded Jr. Trainer. The small seahorse-like Pokémon obeyed, releasing a pressurized blast of water towards Kadabra.

But Kadabra was swift in its response. It used its Teleport ability to dodge the Water Gun effortlessly, reappearing a few feet away.

"Kadabra, use Confusion!" Xavier ordered, his Kadabra's eyes glowing as it focused its psychic energy on Horsea.The attack struck true, and Horsea was momentarily dazed by the psychic onslaught, losing a bit of its strength.

Jr. Trainer clenched his fists, "Horsea! Use Twister!"

Horsea let out a swirling vortex of air and water that twisted towards Kadabra .But Xavier's Pokémon was agile . It used Teleport again to evade the Twister's path, leaving Horsea frustrated.

Now, without giving Horsea time to counterattack, Kadabra swiftly used Teleport again. This time, Kadabra vanished and reappeared behind Horsea before the Water-type Pokémon could react. Kadabra's fist crackled with electric energy as it unleashed a powerful Thunder Punch directly at Horsea.

The move connected with precision, and Horsea let out a pained cry as the electric shock coursed through its body.

It left Horsea weakened, struggling to stay in the battle and eventually lost the battle.

Jr. Trainer withdrew his Horsea, his expression a mix of surprise and disappointment. "You did well, Horsea. Now, Shellder, show them your strength!"

The new opponent, a Shellder, hit the battlefield .
