Gloom's Resolve

Scyther shot forward, engulfed in a white aura as it closed the distance between itself and Gloom in mere seconds.

"Gloom, Dodge!" Sarah ordered.

Before Red's stunned eyes, Vines pushed Gloom up into the air. Both Red and Scyther were barely able to register anything as Gloom dodged the Aerial ace attack.

Building up the battle in her favour, Sarah decided to use Red's surprise to her advantage.

"Now Sunny Day!" Sarah gave the order and Gloom executed, a mini sun bursting into existence at the ceiling and it's rays of heat befalling the people below.

Red narrowed his eyes at the Falling Gloom and decided to attack before anything else.

"Go in with another Aerial ace!" Red ordered.

Scyther shot off the ground, aiming to strike Gloom down with a single attack filled to the brim with precise flying energy.

The air seemed to whir around Scyther as it collided with Gloom's falling figure sending the grass Pokemon flying, as soon as the Pokemon soared through the air, Several green particles pervaded the air.

Red's eyes widened in surprise.

"Sleep Powder?" Red muttered and then pumped his fist into the air, "Send it right back with Gust!"

Scyther gathered flying energy around it's scythes as it let loose a small gust, propelling the spores back to Gloom.

"Now Explode with Light Energy, Solar Beam!" Sarah ordered.

Gloom let loose a blinding flash of light as a golden beam of pure solar energy tore through the air, heading to Scyther at a brilliant pace. The beam tore through the spores as it took seconds to appear before Scyther.

"Now it's time to put your power to the test, Channel Steel energy and defend!" Red ordered, his eyes flashing.

Scyther nodded and behold, It's body let out a brilliant flash of it's own, It's scythes turned metallic the next moment as Scyther raised them to defend, The Solar beam had collided and sent shockwaves through the air.

Red sweatdropped at the intense battle play employed by his opponent, She had a type disadvantage yet she turned the tides into her favor by taking advantage of Gloom's smell, Gloom's control over grass energy and last but not least Gloom's Sunny Day.

Red admired the black haired trainer, her strategies clearly took him from behind as she clearly dominated the first side of the Battle but he was going to change the tides, He believed that his Pokemon could do it!

"Redirect the Solar Beam, I believe in you!" Red exclaimed, his voice filled with encouragement.

Sarah scoffed.

"Believe? This isn't some Pokemon cartoon, That won't-"

The golden beam of light was suddenly sent to the ground, shocking Sarah in the process.

"Fucking hell!"

Smoke covered Scyther's figure as it narrowed it's eyes at Gloom, Steel energy gleaming across it's Scythes.

"Heh, Scyther attack!" Red ordered.

Scyther shot forward, it's wings moving at one hundred times the force. The distance between Scyther and Gloom was closed within a mere matter of seconds as the Steel energy burst to life, surrounding Scyther's right scythe.

"Dodge!" Sarah ordered, trying to take Red by surprise but his eyes gleamed for half a second.

Within the span of half a second, While Gloom summoned the power to perform the attack… Scyther's scythe connected much to Sarah's surprise, the crimson lining along the Scythe was seemingly empowering the attack.

The effects were devastating as a shockwave vibrated through the entire battlefield, Gloom slammed into the ground, energy drained.

Scyther on the other hand, stood victorious. It smiled at Red and Red of course gave it a wide smile, They had been victorious in the clash of powers.

But both trainers failed to register a last ditch attack, made by the Fallen Pokemon who wanted to believe… That it's trainers believed in it as well.

A brilliant golden beam of energy shot from Gloom heading to Scyther. Red widened his eyes with surprise, The beam was fired at point blank range… There was no way for Scyther to dodge such an attack except…

A crimson aura wrapped around the Mantis Pokemon as it's figure blurred, the beam passing through and colliding with the ground a little bit away from Red kicking up shockwaves.

Arnold widened his eyes in surprise, as did the rest of them present when they saw Scyther, clearly surprised that the Pokemon had come unscathed after facing such an attack from Point blank range.

"For fuck's sake, That's unheard of," Sarah said as she returned Gloom, "But I guess you won this challenge, But the twins… You won't be able to beat them,"

"We'll see about that Hottie," Red said with a wink and the black haired girl frowned.

"Flirting won't get you anywhere near my pants," She deadpanned but Red rolled his eyes.

"Ahh, Whatever. Not like I don't got a Hot nurse waiting for me," Red muttered with a smile, "Next challenger, Make your way here. I ain't got all day to be wasting,"

Red's obscene arrogant words made them glare at him, Sure they had been refuting the fact that he was a Young child since he seemed to be such a Powerful challenger but his demeanor had changed, He was acting more arrogant than ever.

The twins, the fourth and fifth people Red had sighted in the room earlier walked to the Battlefield, Their eyes covered by their hair as the metallic machine seemingly linked their arms together whirred and a jolt of electrical energy rushed through their bodies, it crackled around their bodies and their eyes met that of Red, they let loose a golden glow.

The twins said nothing while Arnold smiled, These two had been Electrical geniuses in the Hoenn region. After facing an experiment that permanently damaged their arms, They made the greatest decision, fusing their arms together since the injuries were far beyond what current technology could handle, The experiment had greatly damaged the genetic code in their arms upon detonation.

They now became one being with two minds…

"If these are your greatest weapons against me then you should know that you guys better be paying up our bet," Red said.
