Trickery at play

It has been a day since I returned and met with my new team member. I gotta say I'm quite surprised that articuno ended up being my third teammate.

This will play a big part in the future. Even though articuno may not be one the strongest legendaries it still holds a great amount of power.

I have also ran into some troubling matters. It seems the news people from yesterday managed to twist my words.

Looking at the news I seethed in rage. The big bold letters on the screen.

Breaking news kj of the reid family has been found

News anchor:Hello USA Today I bring you some shocking news. The long search for the lost reid family heir has come to a end.

He was spotted returning from his house. Upon questioning it seemed he must be up to some shady kind of business.

Many people are speculating that he has been working with different countries trading them important information.

I looked at the screen in rage. How dare these people say that I am working against this country.

Matter of fact I have putting my all into helping them.

Looking back at the news I watched as it continues.

News anchor:It seems that this reid family can't be trusted. I thought our biggest benefactor would have been more helpful instead of wishing for our downfall.

With that comes the end of the news tune in later.

My face was visibly turning red from anger. I could just see the imaginary steam rising up.

I gripped the armrest with much force. It gave out under pressure as it broke apart.

"Who do these people think they are."

I was took out of my personal space as I felt my phone ringing. Picking it up I was surprised to see it was my cousin Nami.

Nami:Kj have you heard the news. Is the things there saying true.

"No not at all the media is a big lie. They are trying to frame my image."

Nami:Why would they possibly try to do that to you. There must be someone behind this with a lot of power.

"I think so to they must see that I am gaining power to fast and to easy. But the question is who would want to do this."

I can't believe that i would think no one would have it out for me. With fame comes great danger also.

People would want my position for power.

"Thanks for the information Nami. I would like for you to use our family power to find out who would want to target me."

Nami:No problem cousin I'm happy to help if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be in this position.

Hanging up the phone with Nami went to go train my pokemon.

Making my way to my huge backyard.

"Come on here articuno, Metang and Riolu!"

Articuno flew from the sky landing in a magnificent way.

Metang teleported who knows where with a blank look on its face.

And finally my buddy riolu arriving trying to be cool but failing.

Laughing at my pokemon antics.

"Alright alright everyone settle down today we will be doing some special training."

"First off I want you Riolu to become more in tune with your aura. So you should go meditate and sense for the aura which is all around us."

Riolu gave a quick nod as it went to go meditate under a tree.

"Next up metang I don't know how to train you fully but I have been getting some tips from slowking how to improve your psychic energy. Your task will be to levitate these leaves to practice you control."

"Once you are able to rotate a leader while keeping it levitated you can keep adding leaves and so on."

Metang gave out a grunt as it went over to go practice the leaf training exercise.

Looking over at articuno I knew it would need the most work out of the group.

"Articuno you will need the most work. Today I will be taking you out to gain some experience in Pokémon battles. Stay with me and I promise I will let you rise to the top."

Articuno seeing my determination gave out a graceful screech ready to become stronger.

"Alright let's go articuno!"

I took articuno to a nearby forest which should have some weak pokemon for it to fight.

Spotting a pikachu in the forest I called for articuno to battle.

"Show them your true strength."

Battle start

"Alright articuno start things off with air slash."

A blade of air flew from articuno wings as it rushed towards the pikachu.

Pikachu seeing the incoming attack shot out a large bolt of lightning countering it.

Pikachu continued on its assault with volt tackle.

It's body was surrounded by electricity as it began to rush towards articuno at insane speeds.

"Articuno fly up to dodge and follow with a ice beam."

Articuno dodged the incoming attack as it let loose a powerful ice beam.

Freezing pikachu arm upon impact. Pikachu was now limited in what it could do.

Letting out a cry pikachu let out a thunder shock which managed to hit articuno damaging it a little bit.

"Don't give up shake it off articuno."

Articuno tsuendre personality took over as it became angry.

A blue light became to cover articuno as it rushed towards pikachu striking it strongly.

Pikachu was left struggling to get up as it flared at articuno with anger.

Pikachu began to put its all into its last attack. Building up electricity pikachu released a strong thunder bolt into the air as it rushed towards articuno with great power.

Staring on not impressed I gave articuno one command.

"Blizzard!"

A powerful ice storm began to take over as it rushed towards the thunder bolt canceling it out.

"Now finish it articuno use icebeam."

Articuno let out a blue beam as it rushed towards pikachu freezing it.

Battle end

With the end of the battle I returned articuno and made my way back home.

Once returning home I went to go heal all pokemon and rest. Tomorrow will be a big day due to the news I have to have a meeting with the government about my recent whereabouts.
