CHAPTER 111 – THE QUARTERFINALS, ASH VS WENDY (PART TWO)

In the previous chapter we see how Ash wins his fight against Toby after an exciting battle, but not only that, all the girls also without many problems, now Ash had to fight against Wendy, who is a great trainer and has managed to weaken Ash's first Pokémon at the expense of her own, now each owns 5 Pokémon, who will win?

Wendy is strong, very strong and conventional strategies won't work against her, I think it's time to raise the bar a little more.

"Gallade I choose you!" – exclaimed Wendy.

And a powerful Gallade went out to the battlefield, I must admit that it emitted a rather intimidating aura but I also have strong Pokémon and I think the time has come to show one of my cards.

"PARTICIPANT WENDY HAS CHOSEN GALLADE AS HER NEXT POKÉMON, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHICH POKÉMON WILL CHOOSE HER OPPONENT ASH!"

"It's time to shine, Meloetta I choose you!" – I said.

That's right, Wendy is very strong and if I don't show some of my secret weapons, winning will be almost impossible.

Returning to the subject, Meloetta went out to the battlefield when suddenly I began to hear many murmurs.

"I MUST BE SEEING BADLY BECAUSE I JUST SAW THAT PARTICIPANT ASH HAS USED THE MYTHICAL POKÉMON MELOETTA AS HIS NEXT POKÉMON, THE MYTHICAL POKÉMON ARE EVEN HARDER TO SEE AND CATCH THAN THE CONVENTIONAL LEGENDARIES AND THE PARTICIPANT ASH HAS MANAGED TO CATCH ONE, THIS IS AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IN MY ENTIRE CAREER AS A COMMENTATOR THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVERE SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS!"

People began to cheer, I know that Meloetta would cause a stir, but I did not imagine that so much, you should know that the Mythical Pokémon are very rare to see and much more to catch, although there are trainers who have some legendary Pokémon, those who have a Mythical Pokémon can be counted on the fingers of one hand, i'll just say that.

"You were already taking time to show your Mythical Pokémon, you didn't use any of the in the previous rounds" - said Wendy.

"What to say, I didn't need to use them until now" - I said with a shrug.

"Either way this was what I wanted, an exciting battle, you are strong Ash but I do not plan to lose even against a Mythical Pokémon, Gallade use Knock Off!" – said Wendy.

Gallade quickly headed towards Meloetta.

"It's time to dance Meloetta!"

Meloetta nodded and dodged the Knock Off gracefully.

"Use Knock off again!"

But Meloetta was dodging Gallade's blows as if she were dancing, she was very elegant.

"IT'S INCREDIBLE, MELOETTA IS DODGING GALLADE'S BLOWS EASILY, AS IF SHE WERE DANCING! ISN'T IT PRECIOUS?"

A few months ago I discovered that this was the most effective way to dodge for her, i guess her design is no coincidence, dancing she dodges without much effort as you can see.

"Damn, Gallade retreat and use Shadow Sneak!"

Gallade quickly retreated and wrapped himself in a purple aura, suddenly, his shadow began to move towards Meloetta at a high speed.

"Shadow Ball against the ground!"

But she couldn't do it in time and was hit by the Shadow Sneak.

"Are you okay Meloetta?" – I asked.

Meloetta looked at me and nodded.

"IT SEEMS THAT WENDY HAS MANAGED TO FIND A WAY FOR HER GALLADE TO HIT MELOETTA USING RANGED ATTACKS, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT PARTICIPANT ASH NOW HAS IT MORE DIFFICULT!"

More difficult? Now you will see if I have it more difficult or not.

"Meloetta use Shadow Ball!"

"Dodge it and use Shadow Sneak again!"

Gallade managed to dodge the Shadow Ball and launched his attack, however, Meloetta was close to him, that's right, the Shadow Ball was just to distract him, it was not my real intention to hit him... not with the Shadow Ball.

"AWESOME STRATEGY OF CONTESTANT ASH WHO MANAGED TO USE GALLADE'S ATTACK AGAINST HIM AND THEN IMPACT AN ATTACK THAT MANAGED TO WEAKEN HIM, THIS BATTLE IS BEING EPIC LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!"

"It's been a great battle but even if you have the advantage, it's only for one Pokémon, get ready, Tyranitar is your turn!"

And a powerful Tyranitar came out onto the battlefield.

"AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PARTICIPANTS WENDY'S NEXT POKÉMON IS A POWERFUL AND OVERWHELMING TYRANITAR!"

"Now the real battle begins, Tyranitar use Stone Edge!"

Tyranitar hit the ground hard, and numerous rocks began to come out of the ground with the intention of hitting Meloetta.

"Use Shadow Ball to break the rocks!"

Shadow Ball managed to break most of the rocks, however, she was hit by a few others causing Meloetta to retreat.

"It seems that your Meloetta is weak to attacks that don't need direct contact, then it's over, Tyranitar weaken that Meloetta using Stone Edge!"

Again dangerously pointed rocks headed towards Meloetta.

"If we couldn't break them with Shadow Ball then let's opt for a different approach, Meloetta uses Relic Song at full power!"

Meloetta opened her mouth and a powerful sound came out of it destroying all the rocks in her path.

"It can't be! How could she do that with her voice only?" – exclaimed Wendy in surprise.

"AWESOME ATTACK BY MELOETTA WHO MANAGED TO BREAK ALL THE ROCKS JUST BY USING HER VOICE CHANGING HER FORM AT THE SAME TIME!"

That's right, now Meloetta had adopted her other form.

"Finish off that Tyranitar, Meloetta continuously use Close Combat!"

Meloetta shot at a high speed towards Tyranitar.

"Damn, don't think you can bully us, Tyranitar use Dragon Claw continuously!"

Both collided fists continuously, no one seemed to want to give in, but in the end the inevitable happened, Meloetta hit a few punches in Tyranitar, but in return she also received enough attacks from this so due to fatigue both fell to the ground weakened.

"AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN MELOETTA AND TYRANITAR WERE WEAKENED THROUGH A BATTLE OF ATTRITION IN WHICH ONE TRIED TO TIRE THE OTHER, BUT ENDED UP WEAKENING BOTH POKÉMON, IT WAS A SHORT BUT INTENSE BATTLE!"

"I didn't expect that if I'm honest..." – said Wendy returning her Pokémon to her Pokéball.

"You did well Meloetta, it's time to rest" – I said returning Meloetta to her Pokéball.

Then I looked up and saw Wendy.

"I didn't expect it either but don't get depressed, there's still a lot of battle ahead" - I said while smiling.

"You're right, there's still a battle ahead, let's go, Volcarona I choose you!"

And a Volcarona went out on the battlefield.

"AMAZING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PARTICIPANT WENDY'S NEXT POKÉMON IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST BUG-TYPE POKÉMON OF THE ENTIRE WORLD, VOLCARONA!"

Damn, why did it have to be a Volcarona? This is not going to be easy... But I won't give up.

"Pikachu it's time to fight!" – I said looking at Pikachu next to me.

"Pika pi!" – Pikachu nodded as he stepped out onto the battlefield.

"PARTICIPANT ASH'S NEXT POKÉMON IS PIKACHU AND I BEG YOU NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE HIM, PARTICIPANT ASH'S PIKACHU IS ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL PIKACHU I HAVE SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!"

Meanwhile somewhere else.

We are currently in the Kalos region in a small village known as Vaniville Town.

Specifically we will focus on a house that at first glance seemed normal, a house with its garden full of flowers and a house that instead of a dog contained a small Ryhorn that was sleeping peacefully.

But it is not the little Ryhorn who deserves our attention but the inhabitants of the house.

Inside the house was a woman of quite beautiful appearance, brown hair and brown eyes, she had a white shirt and jeans, this woman was watching television, she had just finished her housework and decided to take a well-deserved rest.

The woman was changing channels until she found one in particular.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PARTICIPANT ASH JUST DEFEATED PARTICIPANT WENDY'S GALLADE AFTER AN AMAZING STRATEGY, STAY TO WATCH THE NEXT MATCH, THE QUARTERFINALS ARE BEING AMAZING THIS YEAR!" – the commentator.

"Oh, it's the Kanto League, yes, thank goodness i finished on time, since the first round I don't watcg anything but at least today I don't miss it" - the woman nodded.

Then he seemed to think of something and nodded.

"Serena wake up, they're throwing the Kanto League on TV, i remember that you wanted to watch it!" – said the woman.

Suddenly, upstairs there was a rumble and a girl quickly went downstairs.

This girl had long brown hair, blue eyes and wore pink pajamas, her face was beautiful and if Ash was here he would recognize her immediately.

"I fell asleep! When did it start?" asked Serena panting.

"Two days ago if I remember" – said his mother.

"What, two days ago and you tell me now?" – asked Serena surprised.

"Daughter, you were so interested in that so i thought that you were already watching it" - said her mother.

"I missed it, i thought it started today!" – said Serena in a hurry.

"I've already told you many times, you're too clueless" - sighed her mother.

"Anyway, who's battle now?" – she asked curiously.

"It's a boy named Ash against a girl named Wendy" - her mother replied.

Hearing that name, Serena widened her eyes wide and looked at her mother.

"Did you said Ash?" – Serena asked quickly.

"I said Ash" - her mother nodded.

"And by any chance did you hear his last name or something?" – asked Serena.

"Well, look, I saw the first round two days ago and if I remember correctly I think it was called..." – said her mother.

"Yes?" - asked Serena in a hurry.

"Ah, I already remember! His name was Ash Ketchum-Hale from Pallet Town" - said his mother.

"Perfect, thank you mom!" – said Serena.

Then she quickly ran up again.

"Wait Serena! Aren't you going to watch the battle?" – asked her mother.

"Yes, but give me 5 minutes I have to check something!" – nodded Serena.

In her room, her room could be defined as a room in which a girl would live yes or yes, the walls were painted pink, a bed where it lay numerous stuffed of Pokémon, a bedside table next to it and in front a desk with a computer.

Serena didn't hesitate for a second and opened one of the drawers on her desk and took a picture.

In the photo you could see two children, one of them wore a red and yellow shirt and short jeans with red shoes, black hair combed somewhat strangely and a rather pretty face while the other was a girl whose hair was brown, blue eyes, had a pink dress mono piece and pink shoes plus a straw hat on her head, both were making the peace sign while smiling and looking straight ahead, both close to each other.

"I found you, I thought I would not find you after searching for so long but it seems that fate has keep something very special for us, I have to prepare, next year I will finally be able to go on a journey and my first destination will be Pallet Town in Kanto, now that I know where you are you will only have to wait for me a couple of months, we will see you soon my beloved Ash" – said Serena with a warm smile.
